Milestones – Lesson from this year’s (2022) milestones crossed!

5 months of this year, the performance was bad – or I would rather say pathetic! The number of posts were very poor ranging from 5, 9 to 14, 15…..five important months and lost for what so ever be the reason….and yet we achieved a target of a sizable number of posts for this year – 280  ….It was worth all the work because of your participation and cheering.......you got what you asked for...if you didn't want it then this wouldn't have happened...so this achievement is ours - for sure!

What does it teach us?

Many times in life, things don’t go as planned. Figures don’t match with our planned ones. Yet, in the overall picture it works out well – almost always for everyone!

Don’t fret. Don’t lose hope. Don’t get frustrated or tensed. Even if things go slow or haywire at some point of time, at the end they all figure out well……as seen by us over the years…..

Keep up the morale, keep working on self and situations, keep healing and be right with attitude. Keep working on your attitude and keep changing for better. Address issues the right way. Eventually, everyone will come around for good…..

Relax, life isn’t as bad as it seems. 

Enjoy, the ride is not as frightful as you assume it would be. 

Hope, for that brings cheer in the work that needs to be done. Laugh, for you wouldn’t be able to go back in time to laugh when things finally fall in place….

Life with all its turns and twists doesn’t end on a painful note – it continues till it sets everything right….So whatever be the station of life you are in, know it to come out right if you keep up the good work and with right attitude and intention....be it financial, physical well-being, mental strength, issues in family or spiritual aspect...just keep going, keep healing and you will touch the finish line well...

Let's begin the coming year with this mental makeup and make the most of the time to come....

The coming year will bring its set of challenges, tears and hick-ups along the way. That's its job. Let us not be angry or afraid of the coming year for the role it is going to play as per its schedule.

Let's change our perspective on things and life. Let's strengthen ourselves. Let's bring our reserves and put them to good use. Let's be ready for everything. Let's take a firm stand that we'll enjoy life's ups and downs. 

If one among us is frightened, let's resolve to stand by him. If one among is weak, let's support him. If one decides to give up his fight, let's cheer him up to keep going! 

Let's make a promise to ourselves that we'll make this year momentous - not because it would be easy, but because we showed a stronger side of ourselves to ourselves. Let's hold each other's hands and give strength to one another. Let's move forward together. Together we are going to reach the touchline at the end of the year with smiles, memories, and weaknesses that we have overcome. 

Let's welcome Year 2023!

It is a possibility that our relatives have cheated us – financially or emotionally. Instead of harbouring anger on them, develop a love for people who matter to you. Develop a passion for your job. Concentrate on things and people that bring smiles to your lips. If you don’t want to forgive the wrong-doers no problem! You can’t that’s ok. Just don’t entertain thoughts of anger etc for them. Whenever you get to remember what they did or said, simply divert your thoughts to something good and constructive in your life. You don’t want to bless them – fair enough. Just don’t think about them. The moment you realize their thoughts are disturbing you, simply send reiki to your dreams, wishes etc.

Do some Reiki that’ll bring some sort of abundance into your life! These were my Guru’s words. Simple yet effective!

This looks doable and we decided to act on it – for once.

We are going to use and live our life for our well-being and for our growth. We’ll send thoughts and energies toward goals – anything beautiful, and that is beneficial to our life. We didn’t have to wait to know its effect. For once we knew this surely would work.

After listening to his woes and story, his Guru told him “His karma will catch with him sooner or later. Why do you want to waste your life fighting for justice? Let it go. You start your business again and put all your energy into that. My blessings are there with you for your prosperity”.

Our hero was sad but accepted his Guru’s words and decided against filing any case. His children shouted and were angry. Their one good quality in them was they respected their father a lot and never did anything against him or his wish. They did not accept his decision, yet, they kept silent and started their business.

Slowly and steadily their business expanded. So did their confidence, self-esteem, and enthusiasm. They increased their hard work and found results dear to them. They grew from strength to strength.

In the meantime, their elder brother started losing quite a few of his clients. In just 5 years our hero’s business was double the size he had left behind to his elder brother.

His sons and their families too were happy seeing this prosperity. They all went to his Guru’s place to show gratitude and showered her with lots of gifts. Our hero considered his growth to be the work of his Guru’s blessing. But his Guru smiled to denied to accept the responsibility for his growth. She simply said “If you had walked the path of anger, justice, vengeance and destruction no amount of my blessings would have worked out to your benefit. Because you chose the path of love over hatred, creation over destruction, forgiveness over revenge and dharm over adharm, you prospered! Always invest your valuable time and hard work in creating and blessing – not on destruction and curses”.

This was a simple real-life story. Yet, it was powerful. Now, the question was – where are we to put it to good use?

But don't come saying "but maam, how come my mil/sil/enemy are happy and prosperous though they are bad?" Don't expect others to suffer though they have hurt you....then you are generating negative energy and that is what will flow in your life.

Isn't it odd that we want justice and people who hurt us to suffer but when we face our karma, we seek forgiveness? 

We are angry that our Guru/God hasn't forgiven us inspite asking(or demanding) it and then go around waiting for people to suffer because we were hurt by them?

Let go of them and instead concentrate on building your life. That's what this means. Put your energy there and then your life will turn out right...

"She simply said “If you had walked the path of anger, justice, vengeance and destruction no amount of my blessings would have worked out to your benefit." - Always know this...even blessing from a Saint or God will work only when you are putting it for good use. Remember Ravana got blessings and sanidhya (closeness) to the Ultimate in the Universe - Lord Shiva and yet, he lost to a mortal and monkeys. That doesn't mean Shiva and his blessings are waste. No, it means God also helps only those who are on the side of Dharma.

Me, my guru – on choosing love over hate!

Today our Guru didn’t tell a story from any Epic. She didn’t tell the story from any other source. The story that she chose to share with us was from the book of life. Yes, she shared a real-life story with us. Maybe, that’s why it resonated with us today. Maybe, most of us couldn’t or won’t apply it right away. And yet, we would carry this tale for quite some time to come.

It was a very simple story of a simple sadhak. Because it was lived by someone just like us we could relate to it. As his strategy worked for him, we had the motivation enough to follow in his footsteps. In some city in India lived two brothers who were doing business together. Time flew and in just 20-25years they had a huge business. Their children also became involved in the business. At that time, the elder brother and children robbed the younger brother and his children of their share.

The younger brother (the hero of our story) was left penniless and on the roads. Now, this hero of ours had a Guru whom he respected a lot. He went to her and vented out his anger, and disappointments. He and his children wanted his Guru to give permission to file a case against his older brother. This though was purely his children’s wish. But our hero never did anything without seeking his Guru’s permission.

The hero's fate to a large extent depends on this sentence. When we are disturbed, heart broken, agitated or angry whatever be our decision, it is wrong. Blessed are the few who have worked on themselves enough to be calm and composed enough to take the right step even in such dire circumstances. Others are not!

We are ruled by our emotions and feelings. And that is the reason we end up taking all the wrong decisions and choices. Here, our hero simply followed a golden rule "Never to do anything that his Guru doesn't permit" Simple! This would be a ramaraksha to every one and any one who follows it.

Now, does this sentence mean 'literally'??? NO! It just means, you accept someone as your guide, mentor, teacher and seek their counsel before taking any major decisions in life. It can be your parent, spouse, friend or scriptures like Ramayana, Geetha and so on....

Then you can never go wrong...

The human mind is so powerful - It can invent, create, experience and destroy things with just mind!

We can go from happy to depressive state of mind in a second.

We can create a healthy atmosphere even in the midst of penury.

We can destroy good health, relationships and life just with a thought.

We can experience hell and heaven right here, thanks to mind. 

We can send away those who wish good for us with our logical mind??!!

The greatest tool of this Universe and put to what use?

Are we using it right?

Look at the results and situations in our life - if it is painful, we are not using it right.

If we are joy unto ourselves and to others, then we are using our mind right.

IF the mind is going haywire, then as a Reiki channel you have so many techniques to overcome it. Instead, if we end up finding flaw in the outside world, then it just means our 'centre and balance' is compromised. The fault is not in the outside world - know that! and Work on that to come back to balance...

Sometimes, you can even heal the situation even before it comes. We have intention healing and other such techniques that help us to make our journey and life easy. Instead, we don't put those knowledge to good use and then keep complaining about life and people. Take charge of your life. Start healing even before an event!

Keep healing and keep being balanced!

The New year is just round the corner........

The year 2022 is coming to an end.....

Let's do our little ritual, let's go through our tradition. 

Let's bid goodbye to 2022 by recollecting all that it had given us. And by recollecting we will know exactly how much this year has enriched us! Then we can bid it goodbye with lots of gratitude and love...

That way we'll be able to receive 2023 with open arms and with heart filled with gratitude, hope, joy and love.......

Let's sit to meditate and know -

• how many wow moments we have collected in our 'Time Bank'

Reflections - Change the frequency mode!

Similar is the case in our life. Our actions don’t produce the results that we seek or work for. That is the first giveaway that our ‘frequency’ is not on par with our agenda. Then, our body comes up with various imbalances which we term as diseases or malfunctions. That is your second clue! Then, we are ever so restless, uncomfortable, stressed, weak, lonely and frightened. These signs say we are playing at ‘MW’. If and only if we are aligned to ‘FM’, we will get the stations and fun we seek. And that alignment is what we seek through our various healing techniques.

Get in alignment and then the clarity is mind-blowing. Understand that! Know that and work for that! And then seek only that! The rest will follow automatically.

Keep healing and keep working on aligning with the FM of the Universe!

This is for everyone and anyone : To send Reiki to Mother Earth or someone to whom we owe, you don't need my permission....

send it by all means and then let others know so that those who wanted to do something but didn't get this idea may like it and join  you.....you can be a new beginning but never expecting anyone to follow....just do and let others know - then leave it to them to pick up that idea if they choose.....

Every milestone that is reached through blog and in blog is yours too as much as it is mine - in fact i consider it more of yours than mine most of the times......

New Milestone this year 2022 - 273

On November 8th 225post looked difficult. But, we not only crossed that but also next one 273...which by all counts was an unattainable one (by my calculations).......

ok - not all posts are 'real posts' per se - but did we put a condition that all posts should be so......we didn't! We just wished that we cross 273 posts and lo! it happened and how it happened....

Let's celebrate this milestone by preparing some sweetmeat and share with people who matter to us

........as we celebrate with some sweet preparation at home and sharing with near and dear, let's also use this to learn something it has to offer "What do we learn from this?

Reflections - Change the frequency mode!

Reason – somehow, the bandwidth has changed from FM to MW, which was indicated by that ‘switch’ at the back of that radio!

So, what does this incident teach me?

Many times, we try to tune in to a certain frequency knowing where the bandwidth is and what to expect from that frequency. But, sometimes, the switch has happened and we still expect things to go in the same way. It can’t and it won’t! but, we want the radio to play our programme. Then, the only way to do that is to make that ‘switch change’.

Like in the radio, this change may not be physically evident and clear to each of us. So, it is difficult for most to know that the switch has happened.

Then, how do we know that?

Simply! Look for the symptoms. Just like that radio – it didn’t play the usual stations. Then, it came up with odd and different stations. Later, I didn’t feel comfortable holding it even.

Reflections - Change the frequency mode!

For the past month or so, I wasn’t able to play my radio. And yes, I still do use one! Instead of judging me for that, read further and be with what I am here to tell you.

My radio, despite me using all my patience and time on it, was playing some ‘random station’ that didn’t ring to me. I kept trying at a different times of the day – the same result. Today was no different. I was set to clean – yes do my daily task of cleaning and I needed my radio for that! And yet, it didn’t respond right! It came up with all noises – none pleasing to my ears. I just left it deciding to go ahead with cleaning without having the radio at my side – for once!

And it was then that a family member came over. That member asked me “What’s the matter with you? Why are you struggling with this for so long?”

I simply replied “It isn’t listening to me”

The family member too tried tuning it and then suddenly turned it over and changed a small switch at the back of that radio, handed me the radio, and left.

It started playing my stations!!!

Sometimes, the jolt from life and Nature get us back to ourselves. That way, the bad times are the GOOD TIMES! But the wise don't wait till the end to know the meaning of life. They understand it while still having time and then live life as if it means nothing to them! What a paradox! And in that paradox is the essence of spirituality and the beauty of life. To celebrate and enjoy life we need to cross over this paradox. with with so much of power, knowledge and bhakthi, even Ravana was taken into the fold of maya. Imagine, how much more we need to be aware and alert to overcome these dualities of life and death!!!
