On life partner!

On life partner!

What does this say and why?

What happens otherwise?

on owning up!

The Mystic says - on owing up!

Every body seems to know how the other person is supposed to behave.

But no body has courage to own up their own nature, attitudes, actions, truths, character, reality!

And because of this every one pays the price of losing the 'right person' who wishes right for you. They hold on to wrong memory, emotion and psychic impressions in the name of painting others' character!!??

What an irony!

And that is the how 'karma' comes into play in their lives.........

# karma, mystic says, quotes and sayings,

Questions addressed :

  • "But he is a parent/brother/guru/manager etc...how can he talk/behave like that?"
  • "But is not master/parent supposed to behave like this?"
Points to be understood :
  • Do a small work on yourself. Sit in meditation and ask "If I expect patience from the other person because of his station in life as parent/guru/God/brother etc, do I exhibit the same in similar situation in my life as a parent/brother/co-worker?"
Pointer to help you think :
When people come late and I look at watch or ask them "what time did I tell the class was?", the immediate reaction and statement is "I knew you would shout maam, but I had X/Y /Z reason for being late. Everyone told me previously that maam was very strict and that we should be very careful with her. I didn't believe that maam. They were true. That's why people are afraid of you maam"

Look at the response closely. Read it more than couple of times. Seems very familiar - isn't it?
Now coming to this situation. YOU CAME LATE! YOU ARE WRONG. WHEN A TIME IS GIVEN, IT IS EVERY ONE'S DUTY TO COME ON TIME. THE ONE WHO HAS COME LATE IS ACTUALLY TELLING 'MY TIME AND OTHER WORKS ARE IMPORTANT' AND YOUR TIME IS NOT.
Isn't it? Sit in meditation and look within yourself. Look at yourself. And yet your answer projects a 'bad me'.
You use the word 'strict' as if it is a 'bad nature or word'. I am punctual and value time. It is good and right attitude. But, the accusation is on me saying you are 'strict'. Look within! Question your words, your emotions then, your anger and where it is coming from.
You are wrong and I am blamed for being strict. That is your attitude, nature and karma. And what results you expect from such line of thought and actions? No good will come from such nature and principles. And then  you ask 'why good people suffer maam?' assuming yourself to be good here.......what an irony?
Those who understand this simple example will know the areas that needs to be addressed. It looks small but those who are going to meditate and then heal it will find results which they would term as miracles.
and others who rest on their logical mind to understand neither will sit in meditation nor will heal themselves of this twisted way of thinking. And then complain "But maam, why such miracles don't happen in my life?"
If you understand this post, major part of your healing can be addressed.
If you are open to this post, you'll find answers to so many of your issues.
If you are applying this post to yourself and work on yourself, then miracles will come your way!

Need for pain

So instead of crying about it, complaining about it, use it to your advantage. Your emotions are your thermometer. It indicates your state of mind and where the problem is! Just sit to heal that problem area and you’ll come out of this ‘tough times’ a better, stronger, calmer person than you can imagine today! DO NOT LET GO OFF THIS PERIOD OF HEALING YOURSELF!

Where ever be the problem and disturbance in your life, hold on. As times come to normal things will fall in place automatically and magically too for those you have been in sadhan during this tiring times! Remember when Lord Rama went to vanvas (went to live in forest as penance) he was just a ‘Prince of Ayodhya’. But when he came back after going through his 14 years of testing time, he was ‘Maryada Purushottam’ – “Man who respected and followed Dharma or righteousness of that Time Always’. He is the ‘Ultimate Man’ - Man who lived by ‘dharma’ at all times and under all circumstances. His trials and ‘bad times’ gave him an opportunity to grow from Prince to Maryada Purushottam.

Let’s remember this always – “apne har mushkil se haske milo, na jaane kaun sa mushkil tumhara bhagya badal de”.

This applies to Rama. This also applies to Kishoreda story at the start of this post! This applies to each one of our lives…….so, instead of being afraid of this testing and turning times, let’s look at it in its eyes and say ‘bring it on’ I am going to surf on the high waves of this ocean called life!!!

Accept it, heal it, face it, understand it, accept it, transform it, heal it and then transcend it.

Our journey has all this and more. It is a joyous and a very adventurous ride. Enjoy it. The journey is worth all this ONLY because of all that this journey has to offer it. The joy and the sense of achievement is not in reaching the goal - that is a very pale need and reason to go on this journey. At every step, at every small progress made and every fall realised and corrected, every step which falters strengthened - all this makes this journey a joyous one! Enjoy it. Be with it! And take glory of this journey for all it offers!

Tum mere sher puttar ho – you are my lion hearted sons. So fear not, doubt not! You have it in you. Be fearless and celebrate whatever life throws at you with a smile!

Rest not O Lions! For victory is yours for asking!

Need for pain

Our belief should not be a cause of pain, suffering or trouble to others. Remember that always!

Trust, but also be alert and cautious.

I trust REIKI but that doesn’t mean I would keep pushing Reiki to prove its existence by lighting a lamp and placing it at crossroads with a condition ‘if Reiki IS, the lamp will light come what may’. Know the difference between ‘belief’ and ‘Stupidity’. Stupidity can also be based on arrogance - beware of that!

Our belief and trust should make us calm during such tough times. They should make us pillar of strengths for the people in our lives. Belief means I play my trust but don’t condition the outcome of my prayer!

Now, this post is not only for this pandemic situation. It also applies to every ‘tough’ or ‘testing situation’ in our life.

We may be going through some testing situation in our –

a.physical level – meaning we may fall sick or be living with some ailment, disturbance in our health, experiencing some sort of pain or discomfort in our daily routine.

b.Relationship level – our personal relationships may be on the verge of sinking maybe. Maybe, we are going through some tough differences of opinion or tough fights. Maybe, we are not on talking terms with our near and dear ones.

c. Financial level – This pandemic is throwing surprises of all sorts on all levels. Finance could be the most common one of them!

d. Emotional level – Fear, fights, depression, anger, frustration and what on could be our emotional state due to various reasons now. You may feel you are going crazy. You feel being torn apart. The good news is so it is for many. When there is storm in the ocean, people in even big ships are thrown and tossed around quite often than not! No one is comfortable during ‘storms’ in ship – be it even as I Class passengers!

Trust me on this!

Questions addressed :
  • My emotions are killing me. How do I tackle them?
  • How can tough times be beneficial for anyone for that matter?

Points to be understood :
  • When life throws a googly at you, how do you bat that? (googly is a term used in game cricket )
  • "But I don't want to do anything. I just want this 'bad time' to vanish through some magic. I don't want to learn anything. I don't want to heal it. I am fed up of being forced to change for my good" - Good for you! But there is nothing much anybody - even God can do for such a mindset!
  • Heal and transform. Those who transform transcend.
  • Those who are stuck with their mindset are eventually wiped out.
  • How come 'logical mind' like yours not get it. You believe and propogate 'Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest' - right?

Aarthi - this is not about you...........

Need for pain

Need for pain

I don’t predict future. I am a believer of ‘writing and designing our future’. And so am in ‘healing path’. Our future is going to be right whatever the outcome be. Note here clearly. I said ‘future is going to be right’ and not ‘good’. Good is subjective. What you consider as good is only your ‘desire’. And you are happy only when your condition of that desire is fulfilled. But, here I am not saying ‘good’ I am saying ‘right’. Right means ‘may be not up to my taste or as per my desire’ but still what is right for me!

This right is selected by the Universe. It is decided by the reiki. How can it be wrong for me? Whatever He decides, it’s got to be good. This is based on the fact and Truth that His love for me is greater than my love for myself.

Think about it! So many times we have asked things and situations for our pain. We attracted that which was painful for us. We choose things and people who are harmful for us. Agreed in ignorance, but choose we do. How we are wrong for ourselves!

HE is beyond ignorance. He is knowledge himself. How can he operate out of ignorance? And so, His decision for me can only be good and right at the same time! That is Trust I have in Him!

So whatever fears you have because of COVID surrender it to Reiki/Universe/God and just do your bit every single day.

Surrender doesn’t mean you throw caution to the wind. I know a gentleman who does pooja for a min. of 3-4 hours. He has chosen ‘celibacy’ (brahmacharyam) over married life. Why? Because, for him being with God in every thought is the only way of life. He takes care of his aged parents. He is a successful professional. He is from well to do family. And yet he is clear in his purpose of life. He went to ‘kumbh mela’ saying ‘energies of that place would not let virus come there’. He came back with COVID and both his parents in late 80s with co-morbidities are at risk because of him. His SIL who is mother to a one year kid is already infected. SIL’s both parents (who live in next house to theirs) are cancer patients undergoing cancer treatment. Just imagine the scenario.

Our belief should not be a cause of pain, suffering or trouble to others. Remember that always!

# pain and suffering, desire and its fulfillment, destiny, twists and turns of life, life - a miracle, unfolding of life events, everything happens for a reason, everything happens for good,

Questions addressed :
  • Why do I suffer when my prayers are answered too?
  • Why am I not happy inspite of my wish being fulfilled?
  • Now I am afraid of asking for wishes as their coming true also gives me pain. Does that mean I don't ask for wishes? Then how do I run my life?
  • Who takes decisions when I am not taking decisions for my life?

Points to be understood :
  • When my desire is fulfilled, Good!
  • But when my desire is not fulfilled then it is better for me as HIS WILL is present in the decision.
  • जब मेरी चाहत पूरी होती है तो अच्छा
  • पर जब मेरी चाहत पूरी नहीं होती है थो बहुत अच्छा क्यूँकि उसमें उसकी रज़ा होती है.....
  • What I desire for myself is not necessarily good! No arguments there!
  • What I want need not be for my good.
  • There is His Love operational even in denial!
  • His love for me is much much greater than my love for myself.
  • I in my ignorance can want and chase things and people harmful for me.
  • HE never gives me anything harmful for me. It may be distasteful for me - but harmful - NEVER!
  • He knows more about me than I myself!
  • If you want to argue on that, first sit in meditation and go within. Know thyself! Then open your mouth to argue.
  • One who feels restless, fear, pain just by closing one's eyes and wanting to be silent for few minutes - what does that reflect about that person?

Please note : I am not communicating doesn't mean 'no teacher period and so make more noise and do no homework....!'
Some of you have been given special task to be performed for 3-4 months next. Are you doing it? I am sure i don't need to repeat saying this again.....

Read https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/search?q=why+God+doesn%27t+come+to+my+rescue  to understand how God helps people in Sadhan.

Also find answer to your question : Aren't energies of Kumbh mela and pooja supposed to protect a bhaktha? If no, then why be in sadhan?

Ask yourself this question before blaming Reiki/Guru/God "Am I here to question His Greatness and Glory or am I working towards experiencing a miracle happening through Him in life?"

Am I challenging his Glory and Greatness OR

Am I being a torch to his Glory and Greatness?

Need for pain

 Contd....

Need for pain

The result – the wish comes true but with the price of a pain that needs to be borne before its fulfillment. Pain is not the ‘sadistic pleasure’ God / Universe derives from us against our desire! No it becomes the way to fulfill our desire.

Only crying at that level and for so long could have cleared his throat that way that he could without even formal musical training be considered one of the best voices and singers of all times to come!

Greater the fight, bigger is the medal!

Bigger the war, greater the reward!

The greedy, coward, selfish nature in us stops us from paying the price ‘required’ to make our dream come true.

But the mind that is trained to cut through our ego, rest in sadhan, trust in the Divine/Sadhan / reiki will work on its fear to come out as ‘hero’ of every struggle that is laid in our path……

Now the fight can be personal, professional or even social!

COVID is one such fight. No one knows the outcome. No one knows what is waiting for us. No one is able to predict anything here for sure!*

Questions addressed :

  • Why do tough times happen in life?
  • Why is there pain and suffering in life and in this world?
  • How to benefit from pain and suffering in life?
  • What is the difference between 'good' and 'right' in life?

Points to be understood :
  • Sometimes, pain and suffering come with a lesson to be learnt.
  • Sometimes, pain and suffering come to bring order in the chaos that we have made or created in our lives.
  • Every order that needs to be brought is painful as a process. But it is inevitable.
  • If we had and are following 'dharma' in every wakeful point of Time there would be no need for the Universe to intervene and put it in order when things go out of hand. At such times there is no pain involved as there is no process that is required to set things right!
  • Know the difference between good and right and walk on the right path always to avoid pain in life.

*You also don't ask a senseless question "maam, when will it end? or Why this maam and so on...?"
Instead ask "How do I make best use of this time which when it passes away is never going to come back?"
"How do I use the emotions that are disturbing in me to outgrow them and become more strong person - the one I am born to be...?"

Did this post benefit you and give answers to your directions to address your disturbed emotions?

Need for pain

Need for pain

There was a small boy named “Abhas” who loved singing so much that he would be singing to his parents, family and friends all through the day. But the most painful and sad fact was that his voice would break into coarse, grating noise while singing. His family would tease saying it sounded like bamboo being split into two. Yet, he continued singing. People would shut their ears when he opened his mouth to sing.

One day he smelt something good coming from the kitchen and expecting his mother to cook his favourite dish he ran into the kitchen. And lo! He ran straight into the chopper and he cut one of his toe and the knife dug deep into his feet. He bled excessively and his family took him to the Dr. who somehow could save the toe but the pain remained unattended as there was no painkiller those days.

The little boy kept crying out of pain for several hours every single day for weeks and a month later his throat cleared and voice became melodious.

The little boy “Abhas kumar Ganguly” went on to become one of the musical trio of Indian film Industry – Kishore kumar!

We in our innocence ask for wishes way beyond our capabilities, abilities and worthiness. Sometimes time is also not right. But the heart wants what it wants!

Questions answered :

  • Why is there a pain?
  • What is the purpose of suffering?
  • Why do things fall apart?
points to understand :
  • There is a purpose for every event in our life. Some understand, few know and majority just keep finding fault with it.
  • Purpose of an event can only be understood by the majority of people in retrospect. Have patience, you'll understand what is happening with you today - somewhere in future.
  • Every pain brings with it some benefit hidden within it. Only time reveals it at the appropriate time. Wait for it and as you wait, develop right attitude, be in sadhan and be prepared for what is in store for you in future.
  • Things when in chaos have to fall apart to bring order in them.
Share any other insight you have in this regard.
meditate on  your pain and suffering to understand it correctly.
go back in your past to understand this correctly.
Never try to understand or gauge what benefit you are to get from today's pain and suffering. You never can understand that! You will only end up being angry and start accusing Reiki/Guru/God unnecessarily.

Just FYI : completed 1/3 of MM target of 25,000 chanting.....i.e., 8000 times. That means 80 malas completed.
Hope you are doing as per your target set.

I had given few HWs and works to do for few of you for next 3 months to come. Hope you are following up the work allotted to you!!!

Sin

On Sin

There is no greater sin than cowardice; cowards are never saved - that is sure. - Swami Vivekananda.

This one sin generates fear, hatred, selfishness, self-pity, insecurities of many kinds, anger and arrogance. It also makes a person demanding and adamant.

Look at these incidents to understand better -

A person doesn't call or be in touch with the one who has helped him or guided him in his good times. Reason he gives is 'I was busy'. One more common excuse he gives is 'I was afraid of you' or ' I didn't want to disturb you'.

But when there is a need of his guide AGAIN  in life, he has no reasons that he gave before for not calling or being in touch.

But instead of owning his nature and flaw in his character he name-calls his guide saying 'he is arrogant now' or 'he has changed into a bad person' etc.

Think about it!

How many times have you called or been in touch with the person who has helped you, guided you or protected you in times of need?

Very conveniently you overlook that fact and give excuses and PRESUME  yourself to be a GOOD PERSON. Sit in meditation and go through the entire sequence. Look within and search your soul! Look at your words you use for the other person and for yourself.

Instead of accepting your 'selfishness' and 'use and throw away' nature you are calling the one who has helped you as 'headstrong'?

Then what is the solution here? We all commit mistakes, how do you want me to correct my wrong of past?

Simple - first accept your wrong

b. Accept that your attitude is at fault

c. Work on your nature of selfishness

d. seek forgiveness from the person whom you have hurt - genuinely not just as a word

e. heal, heal and heal your attitude and work on that. make a real effort in overcoming that nature.

f. if that person is hurt enough to not reach out to you to help you now, then respect the hurt that the other has felt.

g. acknowledge that you don't DESERVE and no one can DEMAND  help from others whenever they need. Help is a choice of the other to give. it is not your right! You lost it with your attitude.

h. You have lost the 'respect' and 'trust' of the other person who helped you in times of need. Now if you want that person back in your life, then earn it. Your crying, name calling, being angry will only drive that person away from you.

(head strong - పొగరుపోతు , घमंडी )
