Scope of Reiki & Meditation....

Can Meditation and practicing awareness, Reiki help in doing away with diseases completely?

Will everyone listen to me if I practice Reiki?

Will I be respected by all if I am AWARE?

The answer is both ‘Yes and ‘No’.

“Meditation, Awareness, Pranayamam, Reiki are the holistic way of approaching illness and diseases of life. They analyse multiple causes and offer multi-dimentional ‘healing’ as opposed to specific ‘cures’. The attempt is to pre-empt a disease and analyse a person’s propensity towards various disorders. It attempts to make people more hardy, disease resilient when illness occurs” – as quoted by Dr.Naresh Trehan – Cardio-vascular surgeon – CMD of Medanta – The Medicity in Times of India dt.Aprl 7th 2011.

It’s medically proven that majority of diseases are stress, life style and psychosomatic related. By balancing these causes, we can do away with the diseases that are because of these reasons. In short, holistic approach helps to cure such of diseases and pain that need not be endured and to endure a disease that can’t be cured. That's all!

See the video in the previous post.........

What do you see?

How many times a day do we actually enjoy such moments?

Not even one for months on end…..

Why? Because, we “feel” we need a reason to be happy…….

we intellectualize our happiness and bind it by our conditioning and belief systems….

Like……

1. I can be happy if I get married / divorced.

2. I can be happy with children only.

3. How can I be happy with no fat bank balance?

4. How can I be happy if I don’t possess an object of my desire be it dress / jewellery / asset / person…….?

This and many such reasons are created by US to AVOID being alive and happy…..

Break this belief system and celebrate this moment for what it is and what it has to give you……once gone……this moment can’t be retrieved by anyone even once……..

So, live it by celebrating it….

With celebration in your steps, walk towards your objects of desire one step at a time and acquire it…..

Don't postpone living………..

By postponing celebrating you are advancing your time to grave without having tasted life at all……………..

So wake up, smile and live for others to see……..

Happiness

Please see the video by clicking on the link…..

http://www.cuteaholic.com/people/baby-laughing-at-paper-tearing/

This simple video has viewers joining in the laugh along with the kid…..

Reason – Nothing special or out of place…..

Yet everyone ends up smiling or laughing along with the kid in the video…..

The Truth – Smile and happiness are infectious…..it goes beyond colour, race, language, nationality……

So easy to spread it…….Best infection that one can be part of spreading……

Look at the video again…….the hearty laugh requires no “actual reason”. It’s spontaneous.

It's always so very easy to make rules....preach them....ask others to follow them....

But, to follow them is a totally different thing all together....

We talked about the greatness of Japanese - of them being calm and composed in times of crisis. Many of us even wanted to practise it in our daily lives...and I am sure life had given enough opportunities to do the same...as the saying goes..ask and it shall be given. But, the question is 'Did I use the chance to practise what I preached or admired?'

The Acid Test would be :

Ask three questions for every issue that you faced in the last 10-15 days.

1. Am I happy only as long as people do/say/act as per my needs/rules/belief systems/expectations?

2. Do others behaviour determine my moods and levels of happiness, contentment?

3. Are there issues that pained me /bothered me/disturbed me and why? Who is responsible for that?

Answer these questions with honesty if you want to overcome your weaknesses and to learn to be happy inspite of situations and people in life..

If answer to any or all of the above questions is "yes", then it only means "we need to still work on ourselves so that we become what we admire in others - To be happy, calm and balanced inspite of situations and people in life...

I know the road is tough and the reasons are going to be much more slippery and tempting to find fault in others and situation so that we go back to being disturbed and in pain...but get up we should and work once again on self...

all I know is YOU are capable of being Happy always INSPITE OF SITUATIONS.....

HUM honge kamyaaab ek din ..

man mein hain vishwas poora hai vishwas...

hum honge kamyaab ek din...

we'll overcome, we'll overcome,we'll overcome

one day, we'll overcome one day.....

In Crisis ..........

It's easy to talk about GOOD qualities and to preach about them........but to live them in the time of crisis.....that talks about the real character of the people and the country...
Any fool can be a hero when things are going straight...but only the crisis shows the person's real nature...how he /she reacts/responds to the situation talks about the way morality has been integrated in their character....

And that's exactly what Japan taught to the entire world while facing the natural calamity of this order.....

1. CALMNESS: Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has been elevated

2. DIGNITY: Disciplined queues for water and groceries. No rough words or crude gestures.

3. ABILITY: The incredible architects. Buildings swayed but didn’t fall.

4. GRACE: People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody got something.

5. ORDER: No looting in shops.

6. SACRIFICE: 50 workers stayed back to pump sea water in Nuclear reactors.

7. TENDERNESS: Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone.

8. TRANING: The old and the children, every one knew exactly what to do and did just that.

9. MEDIA showed restraint. No silly news broadcast. Only calm reports.

In contrast to this look at the way we behave in our day-to-day issues........sometimes as simple as not getting tickets to the film, train et like.....

They - Japanese lived and are living a possibility during the crisis and telling us 'One can maintain one's calm and equipoise even in the time of intense pain and suffering and unpredictalbe future....

Are we to just admire them, forget and move on to lead our lives just the way we have been leading or will we take this opportunity to learn the art of maintaining emotional balance, integrity of character, looking beyond self and so more more from them.......

8. OR simply BE aware while doing every work. Drink your tea with awareness. Bring your consciousness to the cup and tea and savour the tea. Savour the tea. Eat with awareness.

9. Every time: a. You look at someone b. You complete making a call (on phone) c. At the start of and end of any job d. You are listening to others talk e. You watch T.V/ film etc. ………in short as many times as possible – bring your awareness to your face and see your expression. Notice! If your expression is anything apart from smile e.g: frown, frustration, then bring a smile on your face and let it stay and continue with your work. 10. It may be –nay- will be difficult to bring your consciousness completely into the work that you do initially. No problem. Just do it at the start of every work and then relax. When you start any new work / next work do it again.

These are just few techniques that can be practiced to increase awareness.

Once you start practicing it you will be able to apply it in every act of yours.

As you practice these techniques, i will come up with new topics in my next post..........
