You make a difference in the world!

The brook just flows. It does what it is meant to!

But as it flows even without it's knowledge it smoothens the hardened boulders over the years.....

Like-wise, everything in the world makes an impact however small - sooner or later ......

Just by being WHO you are You are making a difference in the world....

Now, the question is 'Is it for a better or bitter world?' that's all......

Paths to reach the Truth!

…contd….

Reaching or realizing ‘Truth’ can be done in two ways. One is by affirmation and the other by negation. Rama and such Ideals show us the easy path of “affirmation”. That is by simply following his character; one can reach his highest potential without much thinking. All one has to do is follow the “path of DO’s”. Simply by following the “path of Dharma” one gets to raise himself to Godhood – that is the lesson Lord Rama’s life teaches us!

Whereas those who want to walk the path of negation choose Ravana to become “Enlightened”. A stone has a sculpture in it already. A sculptor just chisels out what is excess and the already present sculpture is exposed to the world. Same way, by removing what we shouldn’t have, we arrive at or left with only “what should be” and out shines our character which is called as ‘should consciousness.

By knowing, reading about and understanding “how not to” and by removing such of qualities, desires and impressions from Self. We become or realize our true self. Each person is different and so the path that suits his temperament is also different others.

These epics and their characters are like North Pole knowing which we can walk towards our goal easily and without getting lost. The stars are not to be talked about and looked at. They are to be used to go out and find our goals and ourselves. If a person talks about stars and then goes inside his house to sleep, then stars I am sure, feel bad.

It’s good someone started this discussion. But if it is forgotten after reading this blog, trust me my work has gone waste. Its purpose is much higher than just getting ‘hits’. And that purpose can be fulfilled only by YOU. YOU, when you continue this dialogue, when you think about this during your daily chores, when you realize its relevance in your life, when you ingest it in your thought-process, character, when you make it practical and start seeing results beyond your expectations – yes, then the purpose of all this talk becomes fruitful. And even if one of you walk that path and benefit thus, my purpose of writing would have been fulfilled, if, more than one does it then His ways of working is incredible and this Truth would be realized by all that travelers who have done this journey!

Wishing to see you enjoying this journey!

On fate - Who decides it for us?

On fate - Who decides it for us?

"कल रात गाब्रिएल ने मुझे से आके पुछा

"बोल आज तेरी किस्मत कैसे लिखूं?"

Yesternight Gabriel - the chief of angels came over to me and asked

"Tell me, how do I write your tomorrow's fate ?"

# shayari on fate, poem on fate, who decides our fate, we are writers of our fate, destiny, freewill, everything is determined,

Fate - how it works

….contd…

Fate - how it works!

When the path of two or more souls crosses at a point, they meet. For example, assume you are going from Hyderabad to Delhi (Cities in India) and the plane has stop over at Madras, Nagpur, Agra and Delhi. Some would get down at Madras and they were your co-passengers only till Madras. But few of them may take connecting flight from Madras to New York, ten to Saudi, and thirty to Singapore. Likewise, say 25 from Madras may board to Agra and fifteen to Nagpur and again seventeen to Delhi. The same thing happens at every airport.

Like-wise souls on their personal agenda with different starting points and destinations and with different reasons for travel meet and travel a certain period and place together because their paths cross and their journey is towards a common destination for a certain time. (I hope it’s clear. If it is confusing, please ask a question clearly explaining your doubt and I’ll try to explain to the best of my abilities).

In the same way, all souls on their personal journey cross each other’s path and travel together for a certain period of time – may be with a common cause like finding Site (by monkeys) and fighting for her etc. It’s very complex and not totally programmed. It depends on so many factors. Hence, Krishna says in Gita “every karma reaps its fruits, but which karma comes to the forefront and when, even I can’t tell Arjuna”. So, you can see how complicated this maze is. It is not linear. It is like multi-dimensional. For any single event to happen it’s not like in films – it’s not linear.

The nearest example of the workings of the Universe I can give is “the game of solitaire or chess” as played on a computer. The moment we play, the next move is made by the computer. The move of computer is decided for that move. But if I play differently then the move of computer is also different. Again even that is decided for that move of mine. All the games and all the moves and counter-moves are already on that computer. But depending on the game and my move, the game continues and ends.

All the games and moves being already fed in the Universe are ‘Destiny’ but which game I choose and how I play is my ‘free will’. I know it’s too complicated and so confusing. But, this is the best I can explain. If I’ve failed to explain, please revert to me. I’ll try again. Because unless you understand this, you can’t understand the question “so killing Ravana was the main agenda and others meeting is add-on…..?’ if you understand these two examples, that of film and game on computer then I need not give any answer to that question. Not only that you’ll understand how much goes into the working of this Universe and to fit in our desire and its fulfillment, how many moves have to be made before that wish is fulfilled. Once you understand the behind-the-scenes hard work, you’ll develop patience to wait for your desire to come true and gratitude will overflow through every pore of yourself – it need not be forced verbally. Then you wouldn’t ask “Should I again say ‘lines of gratitude’ before this intention?’. Once you understand this you’ll end up saying

“Tere rahamon karam ke kya kahane,

Haath uthnese pehle hi jholi bhar detha hai tu…”

How can I measure your grace?

You fill my cup to the brim even before me asking you for it….

Soul Agenda and soul journey!

…contd…..

Before understanding about this story let’s go to working of this Universe. Each soul which gets separated from the ‘One’ ‘The Ultimate’ is, expressing itself in various ways. The various life and inanimate ways like mineral, plants, single cellular organisms and other evolved animals and finally as a man. All the expression of life is just not in this world – our Earth but other forms too like Devas, Celestials and others.

If you are confused understand it as an actor in the film Industry acting. Film Industry represents our Universe. Not everyone is seen on the screen. There are lots of people like technicians working behind the camera for a film to be made. These behind the scenes artists or workers are our healing angels, devas, celestial being and others. All those on the screen are the souls that are in this world which we call as Mother Earth. In this film, there are different level artists. Some are group dancers, nameless faces whom you ‘don’t notice in ordinary scenes but are then standing, talking walking and doing such acts in those scenes. Some come for one scene like courier boy who delivers letter (in a film). All these are called ‘junior artists’. They are important in the film and yet not given important scenes as they are not believed to have enough talent (yet!) by the directors of that film. Then few of these extras become ‘B’ grade artists or start as character artists. Mumtaz, Vanisree were such actors (there are scores of them but I am just mentioning couple of them). Then as they do small parts, one day they are noticed and given a big break and they become stars.

There were scores of asuras and monkeys who participated in that epic war but who name is also not known as these junior artists – unknown faces in the crowd. Then come character actors like friends of hero, heroine and other important roles like (I am giving example from present day telugu films) Nazer, Brahmanandam, AVS, Srihari, PrakashRaj and others. They are neither hero or main villain but their roles are also important in that film like Sabari, Ahalya, Janaka, Manthara, Lankini, Tataka and others. Of course the main hero is Sri Rama and the one fithting him is Ravana hence Villain. But I would rather call him a powerful character with lots of great qualities and abilities and equally strong weaknesses. Yet those few weaknesses though are few are so strong and have such an impact on his and others life that all other great qualities and his great achievements and abilities are negated as against his few negative traits.

Every soul – even the nameless ones are given choice to pick up the side they are fighting for. Each one of us are given right to choose our attitudes and how to express them. With every choice we make an impact on our soul called ‘karma’ or psychic ‘impression’ that decides the next point of action. It can be in the same life or in the next. Again at that point of action (imagine) this point as a crossroad in our karmic journey), the road we choose will decide our path and where it leads. Likewise, every soul chooses its path and thus indirectly chooses its journey, its stations, its co-travellers and its destination too!

Was Ramayana Destined?

…contd….

What do we get to know from these 3 cases?

a.       In mother Sabari’s case, did the rishis know that Rama would be banished and if so why they mentioned only Lakshmana and not Sita? So did they know about Sita’s abduction too? Such questions seem redundant when put to Siddhas who could ascent to ‘worlds of their choice at their will’. Knowing such small (prediction) fact was nothing for them. So many of my second degree students (who are in regular sadhan) have had a sense of receiving a call or news before hand so many times. With so little sadhan when people can know so much, the sadhan of these Siddhas was beyond our imagination. So knowing facts of future was no big deal to them.

b.      The same applies to Rishi Gautama who predicted Srirama’s coming to that forest and ashram sixty thousand years later.

c.       Shri Vishnu promised to kill Jaya, Vijaya in each of their births.

Does all this mean that it was destined to be so?

In that case Ravana was not wrong. In fact, we need not find fault with any of the wrong doer. Because, he’ll quote Ravana’s case and say “even I am supposed to hurt you/cheat you/ exploit you” and get away with the crime. Can you all let these wrong – doers get away with their wrong doing? To let a family member with his indiscipline is next to impossible for us! Can we let go off people who exploit us?

This can’t be taken like this. Destiny it is. Agreed. But not the way it usually is understood. Then what is it? In your theory of Ravana behaving as per ‘destiny’ there is a question I would like to ask. So, end of Ravana was inevitable, all others behaved in a way to let this event happen. That means in the entire Tretayug all the souls were working only with this agenda. They didn’t have any of their personal agenda. Right? Then, where is the question of morals, Dharma for others to follow and there is no chance of Moksha for all these souls too! Doesn’t it sound baseless? Can a creation work on this agenda only and this way?

Think…….
