Me, My Guru - on On being part of the Society and Social responsibilities!
As long as world order exists there will be few people in power be in
monarchy, dictatorship or democratic way of politics. And there will be corrupt
people in power. Will you use it as an excuse to do away with your responsibilities
or find it as an excuse to bring out the change in power? Remember, we are
responsible for choosing the politicians who are elected. Everyone who doesn’t
vote is responsible for wrong person to come to power! So vote carefully and
correctly! Or you could also decide to educate the children of the Nation the
right ethics and values so that they bring out the world order when they come
of age. It is a slow process and a long arduous journey. But Chanakya didn’t
think so when he took Chandragupta under his wing to tutor him right. Catch
them young and you don’t have complaints about them as adults. So be the part
of that movement if you are not the type to jump into active politics. Each can
fight this battle as per his might and caliber. The question is, are we doing it or not? Are we posing these questions to seek solutions and to be able to
work on them or are we just venting out our anger on to the most ‘easiest of
targets’ which are non-personal and yet commonly hated ones.....?
That Nation is blessed which has its people planting trees the fruits of
which they are sure will not live to benefit from. Are we that people? Are we
part of such a Nation?
So you see even in such a chaotic situation and calamity if people can
maintain their sense of integrity and character why can’t we in times of peace?
