Me, My Guru - on On being part of the Society and Social responsibilities!

Me, My Guru - on On being part of the Society and Social responsibilities!

We are the same people who follow traffic rules when we go abroad and don’t spit on roads there. Then why do we need a police man to man our signals here? And yet we call ‘India’ dirty and orderless?! We are the Nation! We make the Nation!”

“But I am not saying I’ll not pay. But my tax money goes to pay for some one’s tour to their shrine is beyond my acceptance” came a voice from behind.

“Yes, it is wrong and politicians will use such cheap tricks to get vote banks. You can question it as it is your money. You can put up a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) case against such a ‘government order’ or ask for details to know how your tax money is being used by the Government under ‘RTI’ Act. (Take a help of a NGO or a lawyer to know about these). No one will trouble you. There are so many such cases filed daily even in SC and atleast a voice will be raised and public will start talking about it and who knows it may even become a movement if the right person gets touched by this cause...

And finally you can do ‘reiki’ for such social issues to be healed regularly (already taught so don’t question again). It may take a decade or so but it’ll show results. The question is are you really bothered about this issue and want to bring about change or are you just using it as an excuse to get away with your anger or intention.

Using various schemes and benefits to reduce tax payment is legal but evading tax is illegal and the motive being wrong gives the doer sleepless nights. I know so many facing IT raids and days of grilling and mental torture all thanks to their greed resulting in tax-evasion. Tax is a very small and right price paid by us in exchange for our peace and guilt-free happy living – not to forget better infrastructure and such facilities of the society! Choice is yours to make!” she concluded....
