Indian Mythology - Shiva and Parvathi - Me, My Guru

Contd....

Have we grown or are we open to self-evalution as we saw that inevitable and necessary for our growth in life and its situations? Either way, it was good!

“And penance in our life is so easy and we are other-wise leading normal comfortable life. So, learn to bear patience while doing FBR, homam and other techniques of healing.

Coming back to Parvathi, after marriage too, her life was not a bed or roses. She didn’t have a house to live. She was living in the open. So, please understand this aspect of ‘wish fulfilment’ clearly.  We receive what we ask for but it doesn’t guarantee anything after that! Remember that! You need to do reiki again for your aspect of that desire. Clear?

So one day, Shiva, was explaining the Divine Knowledge of Tantra to her when she fell asleep in the middle of his explanation. He got really wild and cursed her to be born in the family of fisher-folks to learn the attitude of ‘single mindedness or concentration’ from them. She realized her mistake and sought his forgiveness. He too calmed down by then. So, he said “don’t worry, you pick up that attitude and I’ll come to marry you”. She was pleased and took birth as a fisher-woman. She was born in the house of chieftain of
that tribe and right from birth assisted her father in fishing and became an expert in fishing, in short her concentration levels were highest when Shiva came as a fisherman and sought her hand in marriage and they got married. Immediately after marriage she remembered who she was and came into her original state and they both gave ‘their darshan’ to her parents and blessed them and left to their heavenly abode.

So you see, just to pick up an attitude we have to take one birth. So don’t waste your energy and time on frivolous acts, thoughts and people and be in sadhan, realize what attitude you’ve come to pick up and work on it. please read the Link on ‘ purpose of life’ Don’t use crooked logic of saying “now I understand, I’ve come to pick up seducing, hatred, vengeance, manipulations etc as my attitude. No body’s life agenda would be to pick up anything negative. Just because people and situations in life are full of it, it doesn’t mean you are born to live that ‘attitude’. Save yourself from its fundamentally irrational logic!

Everyone’s life agenda can be only picking up positive character like being grateful, forgiveness, sharing, taking care (of others and not their assets!), concentration, faith et like.

If for Mother just to realize herself, it took so many janmas, imagine how much sadhan we need to do to develop our required attitudes”.

She had stressed this point again and again during this entire explanation. Just so we realize “what we were to do – immediately and regularly for the rest of our lives”, yet we were putting aside such statements and concentrating only at ‘Shiva Parvathi’ part of explanation. Both she and we were committed to our agenda!

“So you see, she took various Avatars in a similar way like Ma Durga, Kali, Katyayani etc to put an end to some demon like Mahishasur, Raktabeeja etc.
