Me, My Guru – On karma explained – Bhagavatam

So, you see a lifetime of doing charity couldn’t come to protect Karna from his death. Then, how do you think his good deed will come to give him victory in the war? No person’s good deed can protect him from bearing the fruits of his evil acts. Understand that from these episodes or anecdotes from our Ithihaasa” replied our Guru with a smile.

Our questions were answered. And yet, most of us were not happy. Like many days, we didn’t receive though she gave – completely with love!

We needed to work on our attitude if we were to receive more. And that understanding gave me the resolution to be in rigorous sadhan for the next fortnight!

After all, as our Guru always says “Some start is better than no start”.

I left her place in a better frame of mind than what I had come with – even today!
