How feedback is important?

Agreed you’ll fall down few times. That is expected and accepted. And it’ll be so till one becomes “Realized”. Just before “Realization” also we can falter...

Few hours before his arrest and thereby his crucifixion, Jesus became weak and prayed to God saying “Let me not give in to the weakness of flesh. Not mine, but Let They Will Be Done!”. He knew his ‘own’ will could’ve caved in to fear and would’ve averted the ‘purpose of his life’ that of ‘being crucified’. And hence, his prayer was ‘...not mine but let they will be done!’ meaning don’t bother about my desire/wish/intention and give me strength to bear the execution of ‘your will’. That’s why he became the symbol of ‘surrenderance’ to the will of God for centuries to come to not only Christians of the world but to the whole of world. Only a person who puts ‘His Will above Self’ goes on to become ‘world leader’ and ‘His Beloved Son’. He earned it the proper way.

सब चाहते है के उनके आगे ज़माना झुखे 
सब को अच्छा होने का certificate चाहिए 
इसी लिए जो सफल है उन्हें देख हम जलते है. 
सब उनकी सफलता को देखते है 
पर कोई उनका काँटों भरा ताज नहीं देखता। 

Sab chahathe hai ke unke aage zamaana jhukhe,

Sab ko achcha hone ka certificate chahiye,

Isi liye jo safal hai unhe dekh hum jalthe hai,

Sab unki safaltha ko dekhthe hai,

Par koi unka kaanton bhara taaj nahin dekhtha.....

Everyone wants the world to fall at their feet,

Everyone wants to be called a good man,

And hence maybe they envy all those who have them both,

Everyone looks at their success,

But no one sees the ‘crown of thorns’ that these people wear.....

Similarly, Vishwamitra after doing penance for 1000 years without food or water would break the fast by eating one day and then continue the penance along with fasting for next 1000 years. This way, he did intense tapas for 4000 years and earned immense ‘energy’ and Indra (Lord of Heaven) frightful of losing his seat sent Maneka to entice him and break his penance. She followed his command, did same and Sage lost his concentration and led a conjugal life forgetting his mission for many years. When he was blessed with a daughter, named her Shakuntala and then he became of the state he had reduced himself to and left Maneka and his daughter to continue his ‘tapas’.

So, you see people of that stature had also faltered many times before they realized their ‘full potential’ and ‘mission of life’.
