The Vedic philosophy
has declared since eons the Universal Truths that man is not the body but the
spirit that runs the body. We are the “consciousness’ – complete, blissful,
Divine eternal and all knowing!
If we are, that then how
come we live a life of a ‘maggot’? Why do we feel oppressed, helpless,
depressed, frightened and restless? That is because we are identifying
ourselves with this body and the ‘karmic body’ of ours. This karmic body is the
sum total of all our actions and inactions. In short, it is the one that
carries the seed of our ‘karma’ (acts) and causes the wheels of fate go around.
This body is also an energy field but a very limited energy when compared to
‘the Soul Energy’. We tap our needs from this limited energy field and suffer
the limitations of this body and life.
We associate ourselves
to this field because of our ‘ignorance’ of our real nature. As one drops his
association with this ‘karmic body’ little by little and gets connected to
‘soul energy’ his access to energy increases and that reflects in his state of
mind, clarity of thought, attitude and quality of life too!
If it is so good, then
what holds us to this ‘karmic body’?
First of course is the
‘ignorance’!
Next is the stupidity
that reflects in our various addictions that we have. The addictions that our
‘karmic body’ holds are that of being selfish, greedy, fearful, angry and such
nature that causes the turmoil within us as we experience them.

Today's miracle :
The heat was killing me and now look the weather is so pleasant...
That is the good thing about both weather and life. Nothing remains same for ever.
After heat comes showers.
After success comes failure.
After wait comes fulfillment.
After receiving comes the disappointment.
After disappointment comes strength.
After morn comes night.
And after night comes morn.
