Lion’s Day!

Lion’s Day!

Today - August 10th is Lion’s Day.

Let’s send reiki to cat family especially endangered species like lion, tiger, leopard, and cheetah. Today is a reminder that we need to protect our wildlife if we need to save ourselves. We owe it to ourselves to send Reiki to all the endangered species like the bald eagle, polar bear, panda and so many like them.

So, this week let’s send reiki to Mother Earth with the intention that the Reiki be sent to save all endangered species and the animal world at large!

During the Nazi movement this poem was written. If we are silent when injustice is meted out to the weak and innocent, then when our time comes no one will come forward to help or maybe there will be one left to help?!

First they came!

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a
Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

(-         Martin Neimoller German Pastor on silence of German Intellectuals and clergy being cause of Nazi power)

They are beautiful and essential in our food chain. Every time one big or small animal vanishes from the food chain, it impacts the entire ecology, ecosystem and bio-diversity. We are effected by what happens to animals and vice-versa. “no man is an island!”. Sooner we understand this, better! So, let’s do Reiki for these big cats – at least if not for all the endangered species of the animal kingdom for at least a week!

I am going to do – wish you too would join in!
