On valuing right and its consequences!
We are happy and ready to pay in cinema theatres. We spend a minimum of
Rs.500/- for watching a movie which may or may not be good. We spend just 2-3
hrs there. The movie just entertains us - sometimes. Yet, we are happy spending
there. And yet, when we pay a priest who has done pooja for 2-3 hrs and that
benefits us for next year or more, we cringe and pay not even Rs.50/-. Why?
People also go to the extent of saying “I did Pooja and spent Rs. X for that
and yet didn’t get desired results?” How come no one says, “I spent Rs.500/- for
just 3 hrs and yet didn’t find it good. So, my money went down the drain,
right?”. No one counts his pennies when they spend on entertainment. And yet,
in Pooja and healings, they hold the person responsible for the peanuts they
pay. Every Pooja and healing gives results – positive only – always! But, they
may not materialise the way you expected immediately. That doesn’t mean they
don’t work. But, in amusements and entertainments, you lose money and also
peace of mind, and yet, you are ok with it. Think about it!! What does it
reflect about your value system? To a teacher who spends an entire day teaching what do we pay? If for 2
hrs, it is 500/- then for 8 hrs and the benefit being for life, how much should
it be? And yet, how much do we pay?Paramahamsa would always say "Pay the people who do physical labour
well, and you'll earn more". But do we?
ONLY a person who treats
and pays right 1. the people who have knowledge
and 2. those who do all the dirty and
menial jobs of society will be rich in life.
