Desire - it's effect

…contd….

“Marriage is not to be entered to make our life easier, it should be entered into because we know the life may not be easier but it’ll be worthwhile with the other by your side.  The other partner doesn’t bring reasons of joy and comfort – he is the joy and comfort.

To keep the house clean, cook for you and to serve your relatives – that’s no job of spouse – it’s the job of a servant. We expect our spouses to fill in the post of ‘unpaid servants’ and complain ‘we are crying everyday as they are not up to the mark…’ and that ‘I didn’t receive love in my life…’ what a pity! You want a unpaid servant and yet expect to receive love from them and the heights is you don’t even think what you have ‘given’ them – I mean anything positive!”

‘No doubt, everyone complains and no one is happy being married! It is so complex!” sneered Sanjay.

Everyone burst out laughing! ‘in short the intention behind our desire decides our journey.  I think this applies to all desires except one of being a Reiki Master. I think!” joked Rahul.

Everyone nodded in agreement ‘True, true’ said all.
