Desire -it's effect

…contd….

What’s this person  got that other hasn’t?  Love for job.  This person loves his job and takes up his job to ‘give’ to his job.  Others are in the job ‘to take’ – name, fame, money from the job.  And man who thinks he is benefiting someone like through a service, product enjoys his job.  A job if he feels is an expression of his concern to remove or reduce others pain and benefit others in some way – then it gives him greater joy.  That person will hardly complain.

For eg., a salesman selling pharma products, if he believes he is relieving others of their pain and he is bringing good health in others lives, he’ll go extra mile to promote his product.

The same product will be marketed differently by a person to whom it is just a job to earn his salary.  He’ll be ever complaining about travelling, traffic, odd hours of job and will be looking out for job change always for his only concern would be money – most of the time apart from position.

The question is ‘is your desire based on higher motto or not?’

Second most common desire is getting ‘married’.  Why does a person get married? For sex, children, security, status and for other physical and material benefits.  Sometimes, I have seen people getting married to a person because they don’t want that person to be married to the other (whom they consider as their rival).
