Never mind, with light heart I opened her gate only to see about 20-30 people seated around her! I felt cheated. Nonetheless, I washed my feet and silently went and sat in a corner.  They were in the middle of some question and answer session.  I just started listening as she smiled at me and continued “your problem is not your ‘sil’ who is abusing you/teasing you but you!  Did you give a thought on these lines? Close your eyes and ask few questions. 

• ·  what is actually troubling you? Your sister-in-law (sil) teasing you or everyone thinking she is good when you don’t think so
•    Is her good name cause of your pain? If yes, if her name is tainted, will it serve the purpose to you? How?
•   Why are you competing with her?
•   Agreed, she is not working much and you end up doing most of the chores and she ends up getting credit for it – yet where exactly is the problem?
• You are learning the work when she is losing ‘learning time and opportunity. Can’t you see that?
• Agreed it is a day-to-day affair, yet hatred enough to kill her? Do you really think this act is so gruesome to evoke such strong negative feelings in you?

No, my dear, you’ve developed negative feelings since long time and they found an excuse to express themselves because of her.  You are giving vent to your suppressed feelings because of her! If only you can see that!”
