on impermanence

….contd……..

And with regards to “you can wash your feet ……only once” means you can’t have the same experience twice inspite of having all the ingredients same! These both sentences may look same but don’t mean same.  Please understand them correctly….

For eg: you’ve eaten Haleem (now that it’s the month of Ramzam – Haleem is the famous Hyderabadi dish prepared and served only in  the month of Ramzan (the holy month for Muslims) and it is much waited for by one and all non-vegetarians as it is a very special, unique and considered to be heavenly in taste by the connoisseurs of food) from the famous Pista House – Charminar! You relish it today! You decide to eat after 2 days to relive the same experience! Can you? Do you? Never!

Because, the haleem prepared is the same one though but you are not the same.  Assuming your companion, time of eating haleem, the atmosphere being same – why you may even wear the same clothes too – yet it’ll not be same experience! You’ll no doubt enjoy haleem  both the times – yet both the ‘enjoyments’ would be different from one another.  Because, how you relish depends upon your state of mind, your physical state and so many factors – all within you which can never be recreated!
