Me, my Guru Teachers – Everybody

...contd....

These people don’t earn to flaunt it. Their needs are as little as you can see. But they believe that they have to work as it creates job opportunities to so many others. They believe in ‘creating money’.  Look at Warren Buffet, Narayan Murthy – same story. Narayan Murthy still lives in a same three bedroom house that they had at the start. He and his wife find it very spacious. They believe in living within means. They know their wants and just acquire or use that much. Sudha Murthy, Narayan Murthy’s wife, even now goes to stay alone in a cottage for three months to write a book every year. That’s her commitment towards her creative need. And he understands that. What a husband! They all believe in working – not in relaxing or whiling away time........

When asked “When you had tiff with SRK, your family still was friends with him. Don’t you stop them?” to which Salman answers “These are small things. They don’t get dragged into these little things. I had difference of opinion and it’s my issue. I never stop them from interacting with them. I don’t mix personal and professional issues”. Such maturity!

So many times, we find people split into groups – just because two people had a fight. So much of negativity in the family! Why SRK’s and Salman’s fans have tiff because of this? How stupid is that! When can we learn to separate our personal issues from others? Relationships would be so much more better if people behaved in such a balanced way. If husband and wife have a tiff or even divorce, don’t drag children into it. Usually, if my relationship with my MIL is bad then my children are also taught to dislike her. How stupid is that! You should watch it once again  - this time with awareness saying this she went in and I sat there wondering what this was all about. For her, it was always ‘Reiki’ and life lessons to be learnt: wherever, she was, she was always in that ‘space’ of learning. She was observing to apply natural laws in day-to-day life.

And here I was, if it was Krishna, Rama or Saint or Prophet, it was “they were saints/God, so possible”. If it was from famous people all the time was lost in envying them and pitying self. even if I heard these statements I would brush it aside as “easily said and possible because he is so rich and successful”. I never saw it as an “attitude” that made him what he was”.

Aziz became silent and so did we all – for quite some time.

“Atleast now, let’s learn to summarize and learn from this experience” said Rahul.

“Ok. Fine” said Priya “There is no substitute to hard work if you want success. So, let’s be committed to work more in that area”.
