My resolve of today!

I draw energies from what I have.

I accept where I am.

I shamelessly and honestly look at myself for what I am. I don’t hide my weaknesses behind justifications and validations. I don’t hold others responsible for my weaknesses. As I look within – may be with fear and shame but when I do, I accept who I am. Then it becomes easy to drop what I am and become what I can be. This is the only way we can work out our freedom. This is the only way out of pain and suffering.

I use my energies to work towards my abundance with what I have. I don’t’ scatter my energies on thinking, feeling and wanting what I lack or didn’t get.

I operate from my higher nature like being kind, patient, forgiving, selflessness, discipline and so on. I draw energies from these qualities. Therein lays my strength. Therein is my secret to abundance.

May this resolve be for today and every day on from today!!!

The Love angel in my Life!

The love angel in my life…!

While I have an imaginary picture of an angel,

I also have a faint idea, that, one of the 

meanings of angel is ‘God’s servant’!

I was trying to scan through the list of my

well wishers whom I can call ‘the love angel 

in my life’ that fits the above definition!

I can single this one person out, though 

others did their best in making my life 

worthwhile!

This person has been there with me since

my childhood, making me happier by 

helping me taste the small and big 

pleasures of life, helping me in taking 

decisions, guiding me when I am at 

crossroads, warning me when I am about 

to make a wrong move, cajoling me, 

coaxing me, always…!

Had he not been mentoring me all 

through my life so far, I would not have

been where I am today!

I had heard about guardian angels and

healing angels, but if I have to identify 

someone as ‘love angel’ in my life, it is 

this person!

It is none other than ‘me’!

Reiki first degree starts with expressing 

gratitude to myself, by saying ‘I thank and 

love myself’! I am the 'love angel' to myself!

The pleasure or happiness that I had 

enjoyed in my life is because of this

body, through the five senses of vision, 

sound, smell, taste and touch!

But for the love that I had for myself, 

I would not have taken care of myself 

so well all these years, and enjoyed through

these sensory organs and brought

happiness to myself. I am sure I will continue

to love myself!

While writing this, it strikes me and makes

me ponder ‘can I try and make my life 

worthy enough to be a love angel for others’!

The response received for "Valentine's day - Love angels" was very good.

Some of you wanted to do an exercise similar to this - again!

And coming March 8th gave us that opportunity!

Let's celebrate the women in our lives...

For March 8th - till march 8th tell or share about at least one woman who has inspired you, motivated you or whom you admire or look up to.....

It can be anyone whom you idolize or glorify in your life - no need for photo if you don't have any.....some woman of strength, grit or determination. She can be personification of sacrifice or character. May be her contribution in your life or to the society had been immense.

My younger brother Raju was another Loving Angel. His life of 15 years

 was short and sweet and passed away becoz jaundice.

 My father was a truck driver & mother went out for cooking 

to earn a livihood... Nobody knew he had jaundice till it was too late... 

He was a joyful & playful boy who was the only lucky family member

 to go along with my father in his tempo, to all the teerth sthans

 (holy places), the last being Kashi...
Before dying he told mother not to cry - 

"Main tho Annu Hun... Main Martha nahin hun... main yahin hun...

 (I am an atom... I do not die... I am here only)
He was an Advanced Soul... he was ready to go happily

Love you Raju... You are always in our hearts, Here only...

Hi 

I feel Loved , blessed and lucky to have one of the coolest Dadi's of this age who :  

1) Loves watching movies in theaters with me

2) Posing for such crazy and funny pics (This was at 3am in the morning recently while attending one of her Great Grand Son's Marriage) 

3) Enjoying to heart's content Ice creams , Cakes, Cool drinks, Noodles & All kinds of starters the event has to offer

4) Is ever active and even in this age prefers to clean her room , wash utensils etc..

5) And not but not the least always BLESSES EVERYONE AROUND HER, Anyone who comes to her she always says "Kaise Hai ... Aashirwaad Hai Mera" with both hands

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for anyone to live with such people and I'm really the blessed one to have this opportunity. Love You Dadi - Vaibhav

When a grandparent enters through the door, discipline flies out of window...

I have seen grandma look at her grand-daughter as if she was just waiting to see her grand-daughter all through the day and when she looked at her, her day is complete!!!

My Mom (Amma) sits with my Dad (Appa) in the list of Love Angels. She was a Beautiful Veena player and my first music teacher... She said "Music is a Beautiful World by Itself"... I helped her when she was unwell & learnt cooking from her and today as I manage by myself I am grateful for her love & blessings...

When I was sacked unceremoniously and was upset with my boss who did it, she looked at me softly and asked me to forgive him, as the same person had earlier recognized & promoted me too... For a moment I was silent as the truth hit me hard, and without thinking I just forgave him unconditionally... It was one of those pivotal moments... I felt light as I forgave myself too and life was never ever the same again... Amma helped in making me realize the immense value of forgivness...

Thank you MA, Love You for everything you did for us May God Bless you with All the Goodness & Abundance of Love & Joy, wherever you are...

Just a word :

Many times we find and see that a parent is very 'hard, strict and may be harsh' too in many instances - in the way they talk to us or behave with us!

But if we look beyond those words and actions of theirs, may be we would realize their concern and desire to groom us against the perils of this harsh world. They had to be tough to make us tough. May be they suffered more than us while being tough with us - think about it!

The other had same question regarding his career, job, purchase of an asset etc. These people were where I was few years ago – lacking clarity of thought.

And the answer to address that problem was so simple. Be with various techniques and be in healing. Way will open up on its own! We all had experienced it many times before.

The problem lay in the fact that we chose to look the other way! We didn’t’ go into that part of past to build our trust. But we visited our past to increase our fear, anger, sadness, pain, frustration and hatred.

Clearly ‘our choices’ made all the difference. And the choice that we made reflected our character…..yet we argued based on this mind that was making such choices that pushed us further into desperation?

Today some went home angry and dissatisfied.

While others found their answers. They discussed about it. They were glad and happy about it.

Only couple of them applied and benefited in real sense. Our Guru retired into her quarters to come up with another story, another explanation to break us from our sleep and ignorance. It was for time to see if her patience gave way first or our ignorance. Smiling at this thought we left her place……

Each one received the answer for the question that he carried with him that day. We had our issues and based on that we had our questions prepared.

“I want to end this marriage. I am not getting what I am expecting. Tell me what to do?”

“I am fed up of my boss and office environment. What do I do about that?”

“Why is my child so difficult? How do I control her?”

“Will I be happy if I remarry?”

“Where should I search for my job?”

“I am not happy with my job. Tell me, which profession to take up so that I earn a lot?”

“My neighbours are not good. What to do about that?”

These are many related questions were answered in that one story. She had told this story couple of times before but we hadn’t processed it so. But now, we saw how it fitted our life. We saw our issue and also way to address it.

Some of us though still found this story useless. They found it inadequate.

“But, maam is not clearly telling us what to do!?! Why can’t she tell me if I am to go through divorce or not??” asked one.
