How to understand blog
and Me, My Guru series especially
And the blog is here to
only de-addict us from our belief systems.
One such belief system
that is broken is Guru is a female here! Usually it is believed and prevalent that
Guru is some male like Swami Vivekananda, Dattatreya Swami and so on. We are
used to ‘spiritual Gurus’ in male bodies. We tend to assume that women and this
field don’t go together – for whatever the reason. But Guru’s are just not
those who have ‘branches’ in 100 countries.
They also who lead a
normal simple householder’s life can actually be a treasure trove of spiritual
knowledge and power – which we are not good at recognizing because of our
belief systems.
In this series Me, My
Guru we see the Guru in a simple background. There is nothing loud about her.
And yet she ‘lives’ spirituality and doesn’t just market it to the masses.
This Guru is also our
possibility. This Guru should also be seen as the ‘way we are to conduct
ourselves’ when people in our lives behave as her disciples. Her students are
selfish, downright stupid, envious even of her, arrogant, obstinate, greedy,
hurting and every attitude that is disturbing.
Each of her students
represents the various characters in our lives – their attitudes and their
behaviour towards you. And the way Guru responds or lives is the ‘key’ to tune
in to be content, choosing clarity over suffering and being balanced in such
day to day interactions with such characters in your life.
Also know that she is
not bound to any of them. She doesn’t owe anything to anyone. And yet with
poise she lets her love and knowledge flow towards people who mistreat her or
misunderstand her too. When a person can choose to be so balanced even having a
choice of simply shutting such people from her life, why can’t we live happily
and full of love and understanding with the people in our life? Think for
yourself!
Don't see her as a character especially "Guru" and think "oh, Guru should be like that etc etc...". I am not interested in marketing the image of Guru here. Only motto of this blog and our classes is to develop those qualities that make us worthy of experiencing heaven within and without. It also means we need to let go or outgrow those qualities that are creating hell for us and in us....
If you see it that way, then the way Guru responds and behaves is the 'answer' to your problems in your life. That is the way towards abundance in your life.
