Me, my Guru – on healing servants, maids and helpers
Vijaya was
so relieved with this answer. So were few others who clapped out of joy. Well,
for the on-looker this may seem frivolous and showy at the same time but I over
the years have come to understand the logic and reason behind this answer because,
all of us were with her since two decades. We knew her complete answer though
she gave only the dos and don’ts now! Today once again she made it a point to
show us the easiness with which we could address any issue – as small or
mundane as maid problem to complex social issues.
The problem always came with a solution if only we looked for it.
We couldn’t - not because it was rocket science or that we were dumb but because we were lost in ‘our problem’. We were lost complaining, fearing, emoting, analysing and judging our issue. All we had to do was ask ourselves “how do we deal with it now?” and to almost every time the solution was right there and simple to apply. We were carried away with ‘how things should be’ rather than ‘how to fix this?’ every time something went against our set way of living.

Here though our Guru gave simple answer and the solution the lesson was much bigger one, I had missed it for many years pushing it aside as ‘stupid/irritating problem unnecessary answer’.
But now, I know what she said. She was asking us to ‘heal where the problem was’. She said if you are angry, sad or in pain, simply heal it or the cause of it and be free from the suffering.
“If we had time to suffer, we had time to heal” her words. So true!

# problem, heal self, suffering, pain,

Points to understand :
- What ever the problem of life the solution lies within!
- Problem may seem to be outside - be it corona, recession, price hike, Govt etc - but the problem is US!
- Heal the self and the reflection of self will be what we wish it to be......
- Our outer world is a reflection of our inner world
- Every time we are in a situation which we don't like and then if we exhaust our energies on venting our anger on someone (mostly me for no good reason) then where will we get energy to solve our problem?
- Sometimes, we have to live with it then how will we find energy to do that if we are angry with (me or) others as if they created that for us?
- When we are in a situation that is not pleasing to us we need all the energy to either solve it or live with it - depending upon the case and either way we can't dissipate our energies by being irritated or angry.
- conserve your energy. Don't lose it on others by way of these negative emotions that will only weaken you from within.
Note : I am not posting those feed backs which had name of symbol in it......you can post it once again without the name and i'll post those comments....

Even though the corona virus has caused a lot of devastation it has also opened so many opportunities & windows for our self growth & I am very grateful for that... I just realised that the last few weeks I hv been in sadhan quite intensely for about 5 hrs or more even & this is helping in enjoying & being a new "Me"... I am also helping others learn Meditation by doing an online 'Virtual Satsang" that is also enjoyable...as it has brought my family & friends together.. majority of whom wud hv never sat for Meditation... & it's such a wonderful sight to see all together sincerely trying & going within to'be' who they are... With lots of love & gratitude...Sridhar
