Next the punishment
should be same – be it for a commoner or a petty thief and a minister too.
Position of the criminal or his social status should not make a difference in
the punishment that is meted to him. All should be booked and punished the same
way. That would be a huge deterrent in the long run. Not even one case should
be left unsolved and every criminal punished immediately and severely.
Each of you can work in your capacity for these changes to happen in your way and in your circle. Look for means to bring about change and wanting to be part of that ‘change mechanism’. Don’t find excuses to ‘not participate’. Every person who says ‘I don’t have time or knowledge for such things’ will have no one standing beside him when he has to face similar situation in his life.
No one need know how to go about the ‘complete way’. Just the strong intention to make change and cause ripple the right way is enough and you’ll find the path opening up right in front of you!”
Again we found ourselves in the shoes of ‘being responsible’. This was her favourite way of dealing with especially social issues – take ownership of the society and act personally on it! Some of us didn’t like this!
