On doubts and clarification!

On student seeking doubts and master not catering to them!

Difference between Guru and Shishya is vast. They operate from two different levels. Shishya is full of desires and urgency to fulfill them the two minute noodle way – instant, immediate and with date line. He is goal oriented even before starting the sadhan.

Guru works on the attitudes of the seekers who come to him. Fulfilling the desire is like feeding the sadhak (student). His hunger is attended to but only till next meal (here it means desire). So Guru works on healing that ‘attitude’ and ‘karma’ which is stopping the devotee/student from receiving abundance in life (in every form!).

Student wants ‘plastic surgery’ done to beautify his body.

Guru works on his ‘low self esteem’, ‘definition of beauty’ and ‘need to be appreciated by others’ etc feelings and removes the need to perform ‘plastic surgery’. Then he makes him understand the importance of health and teaches him healthy eating habits and living style to strengthen his body and build his stamina.
