Me, my Guru – Karna gives now!
“Like Brahmin, we should not be greedy. Brahmin
didn’t seek again from Yudhistra once his needs were fulfilled by Karna.
Similarly, we shouldn’t keep going from person to person demanding and seeking
blessings or help of any kind. We should know when to stop asking”.
“Like Karna, we should see only the benefit the
receiver has to receive while giving. We should not add our agenda to that
giving”.
As our points were rounded off, tea was served and
we relished it with some snacks.
“Good!” our Guru started “Now put these to good use
with your near and dear ones. Giving is not always ‘money’. It is also your
time, patience, being there for a person emotionally and so on.
When a thought comes to meet a person, go immediately to meet him. I know a reiki channel who purchased a gift to be given to his relative. But, his relative died before receiving that gift. Now that reiki channel lives with his gift and regret. So it is with many. Go and meet that aunt, and uncle now.
Life is lived in now. Relationships are beautiful
and complete when lived in now.
Don’t keep postponing writing and calling that person to say how he has been good to you, helped you, inspired you, and been there for you!!!
Do it now.
