On cloudy days

Yesterday it was cloudy!

Some days are cloudy days. We’ve seen many such ‘wow days’ in the last couple of months.

These days bring ‘a laze around’ attitude with them. These days are meant for gazing at skies or traffic, sipping hot coffee/tea with hot samosas and bajji’s (made by someone else! – I am talking about the houses where there is no house-maid. And the work is to be done by the ‘lady of the house’). and to top it would be soft music at background. That is ‘my idea’ of heaven or ‘perfect world’ as you wish!!

Clothes not yet put for wash. They are piling up! Dishes undone and no routine household work even started – and yet – wow to this day and this ‘whiling away time’.

Entire day passes by reading a novel (maybe the one read and even 10 times already!) What more could I ask?

“Maam, you tho can enjoy maam. We need to work. We have office no maam??” – this is the common response whenever I talk of such days.

Talk about who is blessed – one having a job or one without the one is for another day.
