On appreciation!

On appreciation and validation! Me, My Guru

"Appreciate what  you have before it turns into what you had!

Always show appreciation. What's taken for granted will eventually be taken away. Then you end up missing most what you least appreciated!" said our Guru.

Demanding people can only crib, complain, abuse, irritate and finally hate you. You can never make them happy. Your place is not in their life! You move on to work with people who deserve and respect you!" said Kshama in a firm voice. She wasn't saying this in continuation to what our Guru had said. She said this to our Guru. She was angry at some people who were too demanding and not treating our Guru kindly of late! So she was asking our Guru to send such students away from her!

Rahul added " If only they trade their expectation for appreciation their world would  for them".

So true.

We forget appreciating the fact that we have air to breath, water to drink, food to eat, our friends and family that love us and regularly talk to us etc. etc,. We remember the data regarding pollution, and hurtful things or people. We forget that we are blessed to wake up in the morning to a day that we can use to do something different, something positive, maybe a little thing at a personal level.

We hardly ever realize that these blessings do count. We complain about the world ending instead of appreciating our existence today. And then we blame the entire world along with our gurus and gods for not having mercy or helping us. Once we work on our contribution to the world we won’t have the time to look at the unnecessary data that causes pain. We will instead look at the difference our efforts have made.

Thanks Ma’am for providing us with a platform to share our thoughts and experiences.
