Me My Guru – on fate, destiny and karma

Contd....

Me My Guru – on fate, destiny and karma

Without questioning further he packed his meagre belongings and left towards his home.” – Most important quality that works wonders in protecting any one is “faith and respect” for the one who has your good in his heart. (here it being a Guru). Trust and that will protect you.

Protection can’t be demanded.

It is not an entitlement.

It is not your right (Reiki quota right).

But have trust (in real) and that is enough to protect you from any calamity.

Just a thought of being with his Guru soon sent shivers of happiness in his body. His body felt light. He was light on his feet too as he made in return journey.” – Coming to class, doing Reiki and being in sadhan when related this way then the story and the outcome is beyond anyone’s measure.

When we relate with anyone in our life this way, then no job seems boring, repetitive or heavy. Because love is missing in our relationships, we consider any “doing” as work and feel the pressure instead of pleasure in doing it for the other – be it parent, child, sibling or job.

Sit with this thought.

Know where the problem is.

Address it.

Overcome it.

Then life and duties that come with it will feel sooooo good!

Today we received a lot!

And yet, we found ourselves empty!” – This is the story of our life. We have everything and bountiful. YET, yet we found ourselves EMPTY. And so, we ran hither thither in search of that MISSING joy. We are searching in the wrong place. Hence, our search proves futile.

Know where to search, what to search and seek your right to your Kingdom!

Me, My guru – On duties, responsibilities and results

Contd....

Me, My guru – On duties, responsibilities and results

Pointers to understand the post:

Even without turning around Pundarika pushed a brick and replied “Welcome Lord! Please stand on that brick lest your feet get dirty with mud (as it was monsoon season).”” – One who is engrossed in SERVICE doesn’t try to PLEASE OTHERS OR FLATTER OTHERS to get his work done. He doesn’t manipulate. The purity in service itself becomes the key to your success. If success doesn’t come in spite of hard work, look within. Meditate. Find out where you are lacking in “serving right”. Don’t think that JUST DOING service qualifies “receiving blessings or grace”. The intent should be pure.

Service is done just for the sake of service.

If it is done seeking something, it stops being service.

Pundarika even without turning still replied, “So the parental service has such power that you had to come even though uncalled?”” – This is enough to understand the importance of doing any job with nishta, Shraddha and bhakthi. The job done because you have no other choice gives returns accordingly. The job half-done also reaps such benefits. The work which lacks love doesn’t give happiness to the doer and the receiver.

Look at the way the job at hand is done.

Find ways to better it.

Improve the quality of work done – any work worth doing is worth doing well!

Understand how work properly done releases us from our karma and the work not done properly binds us to our karma!

Meditate on this!

Work on this!

Use it for your growth, success, redemption and happiness.

Karma healed – in the real life situations

Contd.....

Karma healed – in the real life situations

A huge lorry from nowhere came and rammed our car. They both were shaken. They cancelled the trip and came back. Now, my question to you is when I had done Reiki as told by you, why did our car get hit so badly?”

Most of the students accuse me or Reiki in the guise of “asking doubts”. This reflects their ingratitude, lack of clarity to perceive right and some more wonderful attitudes that if said would hurt the one concerned.

Here:

a.Life was saved and yet there is no gratitude. Of course, the sentence would start as “Yes, yes, I am grateful but…..”

NO, YOU ARE NOT GRATEFUL HERE – know this once and for all!

b.Even driver was not hurt.

c.One who was to die or be in a vegetative state for the rest of his life did not have a scratch on him and yet – only demanding explanation??!!(REALLY????)

d.There was a small tea stall and a tree where the car broke. If this is not ‘grace beyond measure’ – what is?

Let’s understand karma and destiny – see healing does heal our karma. Use sadhan required to heal the particular situation. For some, one week of healing gives results and to some it takes 10 years. And others anywhere in between.

If you desire, heal till the desire is fulfilled – however long. No one is answerable just because you are desperate for your wish to come true!

The event may still happen, but the karma will be reduced considerably by healing. Do not cry for the the car gone.

Well, this was my reply for the car “You’ve been complaining about this car since a year. Go and buy a brand new car with insurance money”.

This lady was the one who changed cars almost every year. So, where was the loss?

Such is the power of healing.

Such is the Grace of the Divine.

Me, My Guru – On where there is a will, there is a way!

Me, My Guru – On where there is a will, there is a way!

“Guruji, you are always asking us to do so many techniques. But, where is the time? Other masters don’t even emphasize doing ‘hands-on’ on 24 points. In fact, it is not even mentioned in their classes. Yet, you are always asking us to complete doing ‘hands-on’ on a daily basis. We have jobs and personal lives too. Where is the time to do the sadhan?” asked one among us in a dejected tone.

Our Guru just smiled and waited for tea to arrive.

As tea was served everyone relaxed and the air was filled with our laughter. After our tea and chit-chatting were over, our Guru started to say “SRK is one of the top stars of Bollywood. He also owns a production company. He owns a cricket team too. He is into lots of other businesses along with his movies and shows. Imagine how much physical strain would it be to be a performer for 10-12 hours daily – be it in a movie, show or a private function! And over and above that to run such huge businesses! Still, he takes time to attend and be with his friends for all their good and tough times. He is there for his family too! He teaches cricket to his son!

Understand this better with this anecdote. He had a spot boy named Subhash. This boy lived in the slum. SRK would visit the slum silently at night after 1 pm and would stay for 15-20 minutes and leave silently. He would go to this slum once every 6-7 months to attend a birthday party of a kid or if a family member of Subhash was sick. He would attend any small function in Subhash’s house.

also see how the intelligent - sometimes out of ego may take a little longer to accept other's advice - but they too get saved though delayed because of their ego

the foolish full of arrogance, stupidity and ego face the consequences of their own nature - these are the ones who blame the others for their calamity.....

Me, My guru – on receiving grace and on the power of Grace!

Contd....

Me, My guru – on receiving grace and on the power of Grace!

She took her time to settle and adjust her saree. She drank water from her glass. She even gave instructions to bring tea and some biscuits. And only then, she replied in the usual gentle way” – A person who is calm from within doesn’t get enamoured by others’ reactions or taunts. He is ever so calm and peaceful. That person acts out of control. That person demands respect. That person need not beg to be respected. That person is in control of the situation. That person knows to be centered amid chaos! And all that is possible only when we know ourselves, heal ourselves and work on ourselves.

In this example, the Sun’s rays are your Guru’s blessings and grace. Being indoors reflects a lack of right attitudes. This causes ‘deficiency’ in our lives”.” – In every relation, a person who is always looking at what the other has to give and how he has to act is the one who is always complaining and suffering.

Instead, if the person looks at his own actions and intentions and works on himself, he will walk towards solutions and towards freedom from every suffering.

By now tea was served. We drank. The tension in the air was gone. We regained our calm. Our anxiety and anger just vanished. Was it the effect of ‘this place’? we always wondered about this!!! We also felt it could be because of her presence. But we never found the answer – yet!” – In the company of a peaceful person, everyone becomes calm and peaceful. If people are getting restless, irritated and agitated, then we need to look at our state of mind and work on it. The day we become calm and composed, others will also become so in our presence.

We don’t need to change the entire World. Just change yourself and the entire World will change for better.

That really was a divine miracle. And how have we missed out on seeing, validating or appreciating it all these years?! The loss – of course, was ours – all the way!!??” – Everyone is always looking for material miracles. But, the real miracle is the way ‘the person is”. And that we miss out on many occasions. How sad is that!?

Look around you. Do you find such miraculous behavior in the people in your life? Bless them! Thank them for who they are! Validate them! Be grateful for such people in your life!

And our Guru left without much ado. Even in not creating a scene in case of emergency – which was but obvious, we had so much to learn.” – How a person conducts himself in times of need and emergency talks about him a lot! Look at yourself ( at least after the incident has passed) and see where you can improve. Look at yourself and your behavior and know the areas that need to be healed. Then heal! And then next time see if you have conducted yourself in a better way! Know the way healing is impacting you – this way every single time. Then, every bad phase also becomes your learning arena. And you benefit from such times too!

Me, My Guru – On Narada and Vishnu – The Greatest devotee of all!

Me, My Guru – On Narada and Vishnu – The Greatest devotee of all!

When the silence was broken, it was to meditate! Yes, today we decided on our own to meditate. We knew where our flaw was today!! No point letting this understanding go to waste if we don’t put it into action – at least for today!

Our minds co-operated with us today. We were in silence like never before. We tasted the joy of ‘silence’. This was so near us – so within our reach and yet…! We could access it every day of our life and yet….

Which would be the story that could wake us up to that understanding and action??

When would be the day we would experience this bliss – day after day?

We wished it was sooner than later!

But today, we were in bliss! We would be in this hangover for a couple of days more as we lived through our lives. And then, we would go back to our restless selves again. But, that was for later. Today, Now, we were in bliss!

Me, My Guru – Virochana and Indra

 Contd.....

Me, My Guru – Virochana and Indra

So as you see being a Deva and Asura is based on qualities. And these qualities are something that can be developed with diligence by everyone. So one who is asura can become a deva. Similarly, one who is deva (because of his past karma and impressions) may get inclined toward negative qualities and become an asura. This sums up that ‘Attitude and sadhan are everything!” we can blame our genes, parents, environmental factors, and situations in life for who we are! But this story proves that both Indra and Virochana having the same parents, education, and food ended up being who they are!" Concluded our Guru.

She took a sip from her cup of tea. She smiled relishing it.

Our questions were answered. We knew where we lacked. We knew we couldn’t blame others for who we were!

We couldn’t’ curse Guru/Reiki/God for our destiny.

We knew we had to chalk it up with our ‘corrective steps’ towards our attitudes.

We chose to be an asura or a deva! https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/2018/02/old-woman-with-rice-stories-and-all.html

We can change our choice even now! Period!

So one who is asura can become a deva. Similarly, one who is deva (because of his past karma and impressions) may get inclined toward negative qualities and become an asura. This sums up that ‘Attitude and sadhan are everything!” - No need to hit yourself up when a asuric quality is recognised within. Just see it, accept it, work on it and overcome it.

But, many a times, I have seen in real life so many people who have advanced so much in their life in spiritual field fall to such low levels in just few days and months! That is when they leave behind their sadhan! Don't EVER BECOME ARROGANT that you have become very advanced in this line. Never presume you don't need sadhan!

NEVER!

Be in sadhan and avoid this pitfall. Be ever aware and alert about this fall!

But this story proves that both Indra and Virochana having the same parents, education, and food ended up being who they are!" Concluded our Guru. " - Read this story again and again to understand it correctly.

We are what we are because of our choices.

We can't keep blaming our situations and people in life for who we are!

We can, but that wouldn't help!

So, grow up, own up, be a man and then outgrow your limitations!

Own up to your divine nature!

Own up to your divine Self!

Own up the Kingdom of God - for you are the rightful owner of this Kingdom!

Work for it! Come out this delusion of wrong identification!

Wakeup!

We are the Masters of our fate - downfall or rise -Choice is ours to make!

Arise, awake, stop not till the goal is reached!

Me, my Guru – on Sheikh Chilli, the dreamer!

Me, my Guru – on Sheikh Chilli, the dreamer!

Our Guruji just smiled. She seemed pleased. She just patted them on their heads as she left us for the day! They were rooted to their place for quite some time.

We sat there not knowing how and what to make of the whole experience. It was frustrating to see some like Rahul go to that state while we felt like some idiots sitting in the same discourse. We hated them for this. We benefitted because of their explanations and yet our emotion for them was that of contempt.  We need to sit with ourselves more to know ourselves better. But for now, we got the answer and yet remained unsure of it. We didn’t understand it. And what little we did either we didn’t like or agree on it. And the other part that we understand we didn’t know how to apply in our lives and overcome our pain. We left her place with a frown and a complaining heart. We have to come back with a better way of asking questions the next time. But that was for another day. For today, we called it a day!

"We sat there not knowing how and what to make of the whole experience. It was frustrating to see some like Rahul go to that state while we felt like some idiots sitting in the same discourse. We hated them for this. " - What I can't have or don't have, if the other has, I become jealous of him. And I get angry with him. But, I PRESUME him to be bad and justify my anger towards him. Look closely at this example. Look at your relations. Where is that anger coming from for that particular person. Know it. Act on it!

"We benefitted because of their explanations and yet our emotion for them was that of contempt." - Classic case of ingratitude! You have contempt for the person who benefits you. You show disrespect and talk/act out of contempt towards the person who helps you. You taunt the person who stood by you in times of your need. And yet, somehow, you are the good person and the other is the bad person??!!

Wake up! Look the facts clearly and correctly. Change the perspective. Change your attitudes. Understand your own actions and words. Listen to them first for that!

"We left her place with a frown and a complaining heart. " - The person who wants to listen to only things that are PLEASING TO HIM AND HIS EARS  and not have courage to listen to the truth will suffer!

Shaayari on those who are dear - Galib

Shaayari on those who are dear - Galib

Hamein tho apnon ne hai loota

Gairon mein kahan dam thi

Doobi apni kashthi bhi waheen

Jahan paani kam thi…

हमें तो अपनों ने है लूटा

ग़ैरों में कहाँ दम थी

डूबी अपनी कश्ती भी वहीं

जहाँ पानी कम थी।   - Ghalib

I was plundered by all who were mine

Where did others have the guts to do the same

My ship also sank where

The water was not deep enough!

Only people who are closest to you can CHEAT you and backstab you! Strangers can't!!!

Only the person who you love the most has the power to hurt you! Those you give a damn can't hurt you!!!

This is the worst kind of pain and suffering! Work on it - it may take years to get over this pain. And yet, keep working on it, till it no longer has an impact on you!

The one who cheated and backstabbed was never worth your love and trust! It doesn't reflect who you are! It reflects who they are!

You loving and trusting them reflects who you are - soul that couldn't see through manipulations, lies, cheating because you never did that yourself!

We are what we read! If cheating is not part of my character, it is usually difficult to see that in the other.

Remember, a thief can see ONLY  a thief even in a Buddha! But, a Buddha will see only a buddha even in the thief!!!

Remember this!

Work on getting back your peace of mind!

Take control of your thoughts and feelings!

You will come out of this as a more compassionate, understanding and strong person than ever before!!!

Lootna – to plunder, to exploit, leave one penniless

Gairon – not mine, others, stranger, outsider,

Apna – our own, kith and kin, dear person, ours,

Doobna – to sink

Kashthi – ship

Waheen – there

Paani – water
