A WOW MOMENT!

 

A WOW MOMENT! 

Life seems mundane routine. It seems boring. Routine is painful and seems like a drudgery. And yet, the moments we are AWARE we realize and observe that there is “beauty” all around us. These pockets of beauty are so small and insignificant that most of the time they are not even noticed. And then we assume our life to be non-happening. We keep focussing on things that shouldn’t happen or should happen in a certain way in our lives. And with that comes our baggage of pain and suffering!

But, today for no reason this “wow moment” came into my life! I couldn’t go for a walk. On such occasions if possible I go on the terrace and do my walk. Today was one such day! I was just going through my walk as a routine. And then I saw a dragonfly! Then another. And a few minutes later lots of them flew around me. What a sight! I stood still looking at them, enjoying their flight, absorbing their beauty. It was only a few minutes later that I noticed I was smiling all through! Nothing much happened and yet everything seemed to have happened!

I don’t need big miracles to come my way every day to be joyous. Do you?
