On God and ourselves – Me, My Guru

Though it wasn’t a long and detailed explanation we didn’t need that on those lines too! We preferred GOD to exist so avoided listening and talking otherwise.

“This is too much to take. We need to imagine such a scenario and then reevaluate our responses to it/them. We need time I suppose. First, we would have to come out of this shock, strengthen ourselves in God knows and wherever if HE exists (and we all laughed at this pun of his) what area, calm our nerves and then come to some answers if there is any….” Replied Murali rather dryly which was his sarcastic way of talking.

She looked at our faces to see us all nod in unison to his answers and then with a glint in her eyes added “Then take one more assumption “.

We all shouted “enough! We can’t deal with this anymore”

“Ok! For now, we’ll stop here!”

We all sighed with relief and after exchanging some mundane non-sensical talks we took leave of each other with a promise to meet a week later with our understanding and answers!

sit to think : 

a. do we brush aside answering questions that shake us, our belief systems, principles (if we have any?), likes etc or do we have courage and honesty to face the Truth and go in search of Truth?

b. why are we so emotionally lazy that we seek blanket of security everywhere - even in thoughts......why are we not adventurous to seek the other side or think of other possibilities?
