On God and ourselves – Me, My Guru
All her words and
statements drove us crazy and dizzy. But we felt trapped! We seemed not to have
choice. But we did! Yes, it was years later I understood that that day we had a
choice of getting up and leaving for good but we didn’t we made our choice of
sitting there by not choosing to leave.
It was only years later I understood when she said “Every act of yours is a choice. Not choosing to act is also a choice you make and that’s how we choose ‘not to act’.
“But Guruji, how can that be a possibility? How can Universe come into existence without a Creator?” asked someone.
It’s not something we thought of then or ever. It was something she had told us many times with reference to our questions regarding God. It was just that we threw her argument on herself for once….but she, she was well prepared to counter her own argument. Man, was she adept at this!
“On its own as per some scientific principles such as evolution, Big bang theory etc. Ashiest and logicians would vouch by these principles. Go and ask them, they’ll give you such wonderful logical reasoning that you’ll convince me that God doesn’t exist” she replied with a smile.
