Me, My Guru - To quit or not to!

...contd....

She didn’t seem to notice though that seemed remote.

“The common question that bothers us all is –

Should I leave this job? Should I look out for another or better one?
Do I continue working or take up business? Do I quit and take a break?

I am not making money in this venture. Do I quit and look elsewhere?

We usually take up a job or a venture for usually three reasons:-

1.money 2. Job satisfaction 3. Express ourselves

Ask yourself why you took this job in the first place and the answer decides whether you quit or not. If it is money and you are making it, then don’t quit because you are getting what you wanted. But what about my boss, colleagues, boring job, job tension, excess work load and distance of travel?

These reasons mostly are going to be same for other jobs also. People will be people everywhere. So, use this experience to deal with wrong people the right way and being reiki channel you can heal such situations with regular practise (already explained many times in many ways so just go through old posts!)

Never quit because it is difficult.

Remember always, when the going gets tough, the tough get going.

If you are not satisfied with job (Only if that is the reason for you to join) then look elsewhere.

The same applies for ‘to express yourself’.

If you are an artist and are stuck in administrative job – quit. It doesn’t make sense. If you are a Doctor working as teacher, quit (yes, I know many such cases!) and if you are a Doctor passionate about music quit medicine and take up music (remember Dr. Palash – singer of o mahi rey fame). But again if the reason for doing this job is money then you can’t quit unless you have better option to earn.

At the same time, gambling and other such ‘easy money’ options are to be quit inspite of having money, job satisfaction and expressing self there! No reason is valid enough to let yourself in that rotten life-style!

In all such cases we get clear indication whether to quit or keep going but we don’t ‘see’ them or ‘accept’ them because we are our ‘desire-centric’ or ‘pain-centric’.

Learn to detach your emotions before seeking an answer. Then you’ll hear the answer or solution loud and clear. Otherwise, all that you listen to is your ‘loud emotions’ justifying with data that will only show you wrong ‘solutions’.
