Guru poornima

…contd….

Sage Vishvamitra gave in to anger so many times that it retarded his growth. (If you don’t know his story and want it, ask for it). Then he gave in to his ‘physical need’ and was hence enticed by Maneka (Celestial being of rare beauty) and lost precious years in indulgence of his desires.

All this doesn’t mean we can relax and lead the way with all vices. No. It is to tell us that when we give in to our indulgences be it physical, materialistic, sexual or mental weaknesses, we should still continue to ‘heal ourselves’. JUST DON’T FEEL GUILTY of doing wrong or having done wrong, what’s done is done. Don’t pamper guilt with your time and energy.

Jo raat gayee so baat gayee….

What’s over is over!

No point crying over ‘spilled milk’. Get up, clean up and reiterate your resolve to be strong from now onwards. No point doing re-birth with fear, do with “guilt” because that’ll create energy that’ll make you do the same thing again and again. Don’t be angry with self. Accept your weakness, sit in hands-on, meditate and move on.

Ek pal ki gunah ki sazaa

Hum sadiyaan bhugatthe hai…

We bear the cross of guilt for lives to come for the sin committed ‘in a moment’. Think about it! How stupid it sounds! So don’t live that stupidity. Work on your guilt. Don’t go on the ride of “Oh, I shouldn’t have done/said”, or “why am I like that? Why can’t I control myself?” ok. Fine. Learn from your mistakes and move on. And you or for that matter no one got answer for the “why it happened?” question. So, drop asking that. It happened. Period. Now what do I do with that? That’s the only question and its answer will decide whether you would be a winner or a loser.

Do let go and re-birth meditation regularly with lust, anger, greed, attachments and envy. These emotions find expression in us at physical level, psychological or mental level. All these areas get healed automatically. Don’t worry. Just stop whipping yourself every time you don’t live up to your expectations.

हालात से हार कर
गर टूट जाओ तो
कोई ग़म नहीं
पर याद रहें
तुम सिर्फ़ टूटे हो
 बिखरे नहीं

Halaath se haar kar

Gar toot jao tho

Koi gam nahin

par yaad rahein

Tum sirf toote ho

Bikhare nahin….

It’s acceptable that you break down.

That’s no lose.

Just remember you’ve just lost

Not given up yet!
