Me My Guru – on fate, destiny and karma

When they both reached their place Guru asked how his journey and stay were. The shishya narrated every incident of his journey and stay. When the shishya shared his joy of seeing rabbit and the bird saved, the Guru realized the Divine Grace and the Law of Karma more clearly.

Guru realized:

Our future is fluid. It is not certain. It can be changed with our attitude, karma, small acts of kindness and sadhan.

Any small act of kindness was applauded and appreciated by the Divine and the one who performed them was blessed accordingly!

But our acts can’t be orchestrated. They have to be spontaneous, pure and out of love to give a positive result.

He shared his vision and understanding with his shishya.

Shishya’s eyes were filled with gratitude and love for Guru. His Shraddha grew more and his sadhan became more intense. Soon, he became Enlightened!

So you see do all the good you can, at all the times you can and to all the people you can.

No good deed ever goes to waste! We never know how our good deeds come back to support or help us in our tough times” our Guru concluded this story with a smile that meant more than what we could decipher.

But we had this story to understand first.

So many of our questions were answered.

We got the “solution” to our problems and a way out of our “fearful situations” – but unfortunately it was left to us to put this to good use to see its benefit. That was the part we didn’t like. Why were we to do all the doing? Couldn’t our Guru just give our bounties to us just like that?

With no one to answer that question of ours, we left her place with mixed feelings. Today we received a lot!

And yet, we found ourselves empty!
