Tip for daily routine!
Thanks to Covid most of
the houses don’t have maids to do the daily chores. Many consider washing and
drying clothes drudgery and hence suffer the job. But, unfortunately fact
remains that it is a must.
Because of these life
style changes few of us end up having ‘no time’ to do meditation most of the
days.
So, why not join excuse
and fact and come up with a situation?
Since, most houses have
washing machine, I’ll just use drying for this exercise!
It’s very simple!
Do you have hangers in
multiple colours
to hand your clothes?
If yes, then good.
Those who have, use
this trick. When you hand ‘empty hangers’ hang them in order of colour –
meaning all oranges, then green etc. group them as one colour and hang them together
– colour-wise.
Next, hang type of
clothes together – i.e., group them type – wise. All shirts should be hung
together. Similarly, all towels, all night dresses and so on and so forth.
Those who don’t hang
clothes in a hanger, skip first exercise. Do just the second. Again, if you’ve
similar shade shirts then group them together.
Very simple! Just do it
for a week.
Rule : Don’t be tensed
to do it right. Enjoy it as if it is dance or some art work you are doing. No
one is giving you marks there, so don’t freak out while doing thinking ‘I
should do it right’.
There is no ‘right and
wrong’ way of doing it.
It is very simple and
can be included in your routine. So try it. But it is very beneficial.
And that you would tell
after trying for at least couple of days!

Points to be understood and questions answered :
- How to turn something uninteresting into something useful and beneficial for us?
- Instead of justifying how you can't find time to do things that you say you want to do, ask yourself how to do them?
- Ask yourself how to fit things that you wish to do in your daily routine without feeling burned down.
- Make 'sadhan' easy and beautiful.
- Sadhan or healing is not a burdensome task.
- If you consider it as painful, troublesome and tiring, then you are doing it wrong in some way.
- Meditation is to beat the stress. If meditation itself gives you stress, then - ???
- If you are stressed about meditation, then purpose of meditation is lost.

Yes I've been doing it already. I hand similar clothes together so that it looks aesthetic, and appreciate the stand once done. Just little things to make the task interesting!
