Me, my Guru – on
Valuing and gratitude
Today was a sunny day.
Thanks to decrease in air pollution, many birds have found their way into the
cities. Less vehicular traffic and noise, more chirping of birds made
atmosphere more cheerful. We were in pleased state of mind as we entered our
Guru’s house. The greenery in her front yard looked healthy and welcoming.
Today, we decided to sit ourselves under the mango tree in the yard.
“Guruji, can you tell
us in one simple way both to get healed and to experience material abundance in
life?” asked Rahul.
He rarely did ask
questions. And when he did he was useful for one and all who came here with an
open mind to receive solutions to their problems. Those who came here sure of
their logical reasoning were open to solutions which were in sync with their
behaviour and beliefs. They argued, hated and were angry at every solution that
disturbed their present way of thinking and feeling. No doubt, she would
repeatedly tell us to leave our ‘way of feeling, thought process, beliefs and
related baggage ourselves’.
She said “leave your
baggage outside. Then you’ll be open to accept what I got to say. While going
home take your baggage back with you. Just open it for few days and work on
yourselves inspite of it being ‘against’ your desires. See its effect and then
choose to embrace your old baggage!”
We would laugh it off!

Points to be noted :
- Most of the people say and think they can connect dots or events in their lives. But the question is 'is the person connecting the right dots?'
- Seen from the wrong angle even the right thing can give us wrong understanding.
- The question is 'do we know what the right angle is?'
- When we ask questions to justify our emotions/actions/nature, know we are wrong in arriving at any understanding.
Today's miracle : Since couple of days saw planets Jupiter and an asteriod in the sky......beautiful sight to behold.........
