January - A trial month!

"January is just a trial month.

The real year starts on 2^nd February this year!" - Quote.

I took this quote seriously and now, see where it put me?

I like the quote. It was funny and felt it ok to follow it and see – just for the heck of it!!

Many times we think our questions are answered when we see a forward or some quote when we are disturbed.

We immediately grab it and apply it. Nothing wrong so far!

But, when questioned, we put the blame on the Reiki/God for giving that answer. That is our problem area.

Beware of that!

Take any choices in life but live with the consequences. If you are weak and frightened to face the consequences of your choices, then you don’t have the right to make choices too.

But, we do. We make choices that are convenient to our tastes. This depends totally on “Who we are at a certain point in the time”. That decides our emotions and feelings. That is the reason we think in a certain way. Until we change the way we are, we won’t be able to move on. We won’t be able to make decisions that are good for us and right for us.

Sent healing – 3 days – to all those who have been giving feedback, observations, explanations, asking doubts, and sharing their experiences during this year! I don't grade any of your observations, experiences or feedback. They all are the same. And every feedback deserves validation. 

Sent to Swathi “double dose” for going that quality that she developed, exhibited and applied in life – give back all that you received to the Universe in her small way.

She, whenever received Grace healings from me, immediately sent reiki to someone – be it Mother Earth, animals or so – for a set number of days. That is the quality we need to develop.

Receiving something be it blessings or prayers even, from elders, parents, teachers, Gurus, healers, Universe or God is not our right!

It is not that we are entitled to that!

That’s why it is called “Grace”. It is a way they are showing their appreciation, happiness, or affection for us. It has to be earned. And it is earned well and right when we develop an attitude that is “Divine in nature”. And what better quality that “selflessness” of passing on our blessing to others??!!

Learn from all these examples and apply them in life and grow in abundance.

It is easy to cry and blame others for receiving something as a “favour”.

We can end up being jealous of them.

We can play a victim card.

But, we can also take the high road and work on our attitudes that stops us from receiving “grace”.

Each one has a “Freewill”.

We have right to lead our life our way!

And that starts with our “choice”.

And those little choices make or break our fate for us!

Choose right and grow in abundance.

Choose wrong and suffer our own doing!

This year, let’s look back and learn our lessons right!

Let’s learn to work on the areas that need to be healed.

Next year, same time, may we have fewer regrets than this year at least in this regard!

You are connecting the wrong dots here!

YOU ARE ASSUMING WRONG! Law of the Universe doesn’t cater to your demands, assumptions and expectations. Our pain and suffering are the affect of these wrong attitudes.

By doing good to others we are cleansing our souls and karma. It aids us in becoming pure. Being pure is the pre-requisite to Realize Self. That’s all!

It has got nothing to do with how others would behave with us or treat us. Their behavior reflects their attitudes, character, level of consciousness and their choices. It reflects who they are! It impacts their karma!

And yet if you are desperate for a ‘good relationship’ with people then you have a special sadhan technique for that taught to you in class. Do that and see results.

This is like saying “Maam I know all the capitals of every country in the World and yet, why did I fail in maths?

Or

“I know all the tables in maths and yet why did I fail in languages?”

Can you see how baseless these questions are?

The same is the way we connect our sadhan or acts of our life with events in our life.

Do not connect the wrong dots ever – say that again! You will find no right answer that way. You’ll only be frustrated and disappointed. You’ll end up going in circles. Ask the right questions to seek answers that’ll free you from bondage.

Work on your disturbing emotions when they rise. Only when you’ve sub-dued them, seek answers” so saying, she left us for the day.

Karna was surprised. He asked “And why is it so?”

“Because you’ve given various kinds of riches as charity in the World below (meaning on Earth). But you never gave food to anyone. So, you will not receive food. In the heaven, you receive 10 times of what you give on Earth. You can’t receive what you didn’t give!” the Angel said and left.

So you see you receive what you give in equal measure. That is the Law of Karma. You can’t redeem one act of yours with your desire as you please.

If you go on a pilgrimage, it heals a certain kind of karma. The purpose of going on a pilgrimage is to drop our ego and walk towards God or the Truth!

You can’t encash the punya of going on the pilgrimage or doing some sadhan with better relationship with your near and dear ones.

This Ravana was such a great bhaktha of Lord Shiva that Lord Shiva himself gave him the title “Greatest of my bhakthas (devotees)!”

He had such closeness to Lord Shiva that he could go to Kailasa – the abode of Shiva, sit with him, chat with him and come back home. Even devas found it difficult to have an audience with Lord Shiva. Just a glimpse of Him was considered ‘the Ultimate bliss’ for the bhaktha.

And yet, in spite of being at such close quarters to Mahadev, Ravana didn’t overcome his weakness for women. His ego was his weakness. He didn’t work on it. arrogance was the attitude that brought about his downfall.

Proximity to the greatest of Gurus, being dearest to the greatest of Gurus, getting boon and blessing from none other than the Shiva himself also couldn’t protect Ravana against the consequence of his wrong-doings! So you see, your attitude and character if at fault, then, being close to ‘the Ultimate’ also can’t protect you against your karma.

Seek to change your attitude when you come across a Guru. Seek to work on your weaknesses when you meet your Guru. Ask not your Guru to make your life easy. Ask not for worldly favours. Ask to change for the better as a person.

“Seek first the Kingdom of God and all other things will be added unto you” – Mathew 6:33

If you work on your attitudes, the needs of your life are automatically fulfilled by the Universe.

“If the Bhaktha looks at me with total devotion and thinks of nothing but me, then I’ll take care of all his needs of this world and the other too” – Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita.

Points to be noted:

• Going around the places of worship, following the rituals blindly or chanting will not protect anyone from the effects of their karma (wrongdoing).
• Every person has to face the consequences of his wrongdoing!
• First and foremost, the person has to realize that he has wronged.
• Then, he has to feel ashamed of his acts.
• Then, he should feel remorse for his acts and should want to repent for the same.  
• Later, he should do the required sadhan for the same.
• There should be a clear change in his attitude and only then he can seek forgiveness for his acts.

When such public figures are not finding excuses to not exercise, attend social calls and so on, can we? When we find reasons for not ‘having time for sadhan’, are we telling ourselves or others that we are busier than these men!!?? We don’t need to sneak at the middle of the night like these celebrities. And yet for our own good, we lack time! Is it for real? If you are not your own priority, don’t cry, or complain. Complain or feel bad when things go wrong and you lack the strength to face them.” Our Guru left us for some time at that. She didn’t tell much. We didn’t dare ask any.

We knew where we stood. Today, we kept silent.

And, for many days to come her one sentence kept ringing in our ears “IF your desire is strong, you’’ make time – come what may! If there is a will, there is ALWAYS A WAY! If there is a will – that is!”

But this story proves that both Indra and Virochana having the same parents, education, and food ended up being who they are!" Concluded our Guru.

Our questions were answered. We knew where we lacked. We knew we couldn’t blame others for who we were!

We couldn’t’ curse Guru/Reiki/God for our destiny.

We knew we had to chalk it up with our ‘corrective steps’ towards our attitudes.

But, many a times, I have seen in real life so many people who have advanced so much in their life in spiritual field fall to such low levels in just few days and months! That is when they leave behind their sadhan! Don't EVER BECOME ARROGANT that you have become very advanced in this line. Never presume you don't need sadhan!

Own up the Kingdom of God - for you are the rightful owner of this Kingdom!

Work for it! Come out this delusion of wrong identification!

Wakeup!

On being regularly irregular in sadhan!

People usually say with a limp giggle “but maam, I again want to start sadhan. I want to be regular this time. I have understood the importance of sadhan now.”

This almost everyone says like a million times. And they assume themselves to be good. They presume there is nothing wrong with this. One more statement that people always tell me is “Ma'am, I want to do sadhan at my pace” that in short means, I will do only sadhan enough to get my material benefits. I don’t want to heal my attitude and change my character as of now!

Now, let’s look at one statement at a time.

First is giving a break to sadhan regularly. Of course, everyone has his or her own excuses. Let me explain this once and for all! You don’t have to give me lame excuses for not being in sadhan. It doesn’t make a difference in my life if you do or don’t do Reiki. It makes a DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE and attitudes. You need to understand that first! That you are doing it for your own good. You are doing reiki for yourself and to mend the weeds off your life! 

The Next point is “Is it wrong to not do sadhan or take a break from sadhan?”

 “Guruji, the other day I went to an astrologer. He charged Rs.1000/- for ½ an hour consultation. It was atrocious” said one.

“My uncle went to a Vaasthu consultation and he charged Rs.25000/- for ½ an hour consultation. He just said what was wrong in my uncle’s house. He didn’t even give a remedy. These people earn easy money” quipped the other.

“And I paid Rs.1500/- to a tarot reader unnecessarily. All these people are money-minded. They make easy money” added Vaishnav.

Many others joined with their experiences. Their venting said only one thing – that they were angry with the amount shelled down for these services. They considered such people ‘bad’ and gave them names with various ‘adjectives’ and ‘attitudes’. Why should they charge so and why should we pay so high to them was the final question that came up to seek an explanation.

Hearing all this our guru started “Once Pablo Picasso, one of the greatest painters was having his tea in a café. A rich man came into the café to have a coffee. He immediately recognised Pablo Picasso. He introduced himself as a very rich industrialist and said that he was a great fan of Picasso. He had wanted to meet him for long. Then he asked “Sir, I am a very rich man. Can you draw my portrait on this café’s napkin for me. I’ll pay your fee in toto”.

Pablo Picasso looked at him, nodded his head in agreement, took a charcoal from the owner of the café and drew that man’s portrait in just 30 seconds.
