We - The Creators of our Hell and Heaven!

We - The Creators of our Hell and Heaven!

The Mystic says “We are the ones creating our hell and heaven.

We are the ones with desires that drive us crazy.

We are the ones that long for permanent happiness from the changing and impermanent.

We run our life without a clue of “Who we are” and “Why we are the way we are”.

And yet, someone out there is responsible for our joys??

Someone out there is responsible for our pain and suffering.??

Someone out there is bad and cruel????

We are the “Good ones”???

Till the day we stop and question all this, we are going on the roller-coaster ride of pain and suffering ONLY!

Wake up!

Know right from wrong!

Choose happiness over pain.

Know the cause and do away with it!”

Me, my Guru – on forgiveness and punishment

Me, my Guru – on forgiveness and punishment

We nodded our heads even now. We all related to ‘our set of miracles’ due to sadhan and healing which we had experienced umpteen number of times. We shared our stories with each other. Why didn’t these experiences build our trust? Why was our emotion run by our desires put God, Guru and sadhan on trial even after so many years? We didn’t require any explanation from anyone. Our diary was proof of the ‘miracles’ that were poured on us due to healing. And still, our ingratitude and ego which was steeped in the feeling of entitlement made us throw taunts in the guise of questions again and again on our Guru. Why we didn’t realize that ‘this attitude’ also would come back someday to hurt us?

So many questions and all related to only one person – ourselves. And in spite of it, we had our excuses not to meditate or sit with ourselves to understand the self.

How sad was our choice?

In healing, we had a long way to go, but for today we called it a day!

Me, my Guru – on forgiveness and punishment

The farmer asked the question “Gurudev, I’ve devotedly come to you since ages and yet I suffered this injury to my leg en route to your place. Whereas, my friend talks ill of God and still he received a diamond. Please tell me why this happened so?”

Guru smiled and replied “As per your karma you were to be bitten by a cobra and were to die today. Because of your Shraddha in me and sadhan, you just received a small injury to your leg. Whereas your friend was to receive a bag of diamonds as per his destiny. Because of his attitude, apshabd (talking ill of others and here about God and Guru) he received only a small diamond.

People can’t SEE what is in store as per their destiny. They can’t SEE what SHOULD HAVE happened. They notice only that which happened and jump to conclusions. They tag it as right or wrong depending on how things are supposed to be. When you see an incident don’t connect it with how it was supposed to unfold based on your expectations and desires. Because things don’t unfold that way. They happen because of your past karma which we term as ‘destiny’. You don’t know ‘what worst luck’ your ‘bad luck’ saved you from. If a person is in sadhan, then know for sure that even the ‘supposed bad’ that happened is the result of your sadhan. It has protected you from the ‘actual destiny’ that you were walking towards. When this ‘trust’ develops, respect for the Guru and technique also come. Till then, just be in sadhan knowing ‘Everything happens for good’. No sadhan however small goes waste says Lord Krishna in Bhagvat Gita. He can’t be wrong, right?” my Guru ended her explanation with a chuckle.

Me, my Guru – on forgiveness and punishment

Our farmer smiled and replied, “I can’t describe my returns to you in words. You’ve to experience it. Come with me and experience the joy that one gets in the proximity of my Guru”.

The atheist was amused. He agreed to go with the farmer. Both set on foot to meet the Guru. On the way, the farmer stumbled and fell to the ground. His toe was cut and started to bleed. In intense pain and with the bleeding leg, they resumed the journey. A few minutes on, the businessman found a small diamond. He picked it and mocked the farmer “See, you do so much of sadhan and yet Guru let you suffer the hurt. Here I don’t believe in your God or Guru and yet am richer with this diamond. What is the fun of going to your Guru’s place? Don’t you understand the simple logic here? Come let’s go back”.

But the farmer insisted on meeting his Guru – as ever. He didn’t have an explanation for the businessman’s taunt though. They finally reached the Guru’s place, they had Guru’s darshan and took his leave. But the farmer returned to meet the Guru alone now and asked “Guruji, I am not sad, frustrated nor doubting you. But I have a question for which I seek an explanation from you. If you please answer me and put my doubt to rest, I’ll be grateful to you”.

Guru permitted him to ask.

Me, my Guru – on forgiveness and punishment

Me, my Guru – on forgiveness and punishment

It was a warm day. I was relaxed today as I opened the gate at “My Guru’s place”. As I joined others I found her (My Guru) talking about the importance of trust, respect and sadhan. She said sadhan bears fruit only if one has ‘trust’ on the Guru and the technique along with ‘respect’ for both. Even if one was missing, the sadhan didn’t give results that it could. Everyone was listening with rapt attention. We all had only one reason to be in sadhan – the fulfillment of some desire. This topic was very important in our eyes.

Could we ever listen without questioning? We had to disagree. We raised a question. How could today be any different?

“But Guruji, we do so much of sadhan and yet we suffer. We see scores of people who don’t do any sadhan and yet, they prosper. How can you justify that?”

Many heads nodded to show they understood the question.

Our Guru being herself smiled and replied “One Guru had a disciple who believed in him completely. He followed his Guru’s teachings without even questioning them. He also visited his Guru every other month. He was a farmer and would walk all the way from his village to his Guru’s place which took 1-2 days of walking. All through the journey he would be doing ‘nama japa’ of his Guru. Such was his ‘bhakthi’. His friend who was a successful businessman and an atheist noticed this for years. One day, he questioned our farmer “Why do you take so much of pain every other month to visit your Guru? You are so poor, look at yourself. What did you gain from all this sadhan and bhakthi?”

Me, my Guru – As you like it

Me, my Guru – As you like it

Today she didn’t wait to ask us questions. She went on with the explanation directly.

“You see in this world there are all types of people. The type of person that you are decides which type of person enters your life. Not only that every person has a good and a bad side. Your nature decides which side of his character he shares with you. So if you see only nasty and greedy part of people that is the side they will show to you. But if you see the good in them, they’ll show the good side of their side to you.

Be genuinely good to the world and you’ll receive good from the world.

Curse the world and the curses will come back from the world. Give love to the world and that love you will receive from the world!

You’ll receive what you give to the world. So follow the simple rule. Give what you desire from the people in your life and you’ll receive that from them.

Changing people in life will not make a difference in what you receive in life. Remember that!

You’ll receive what you receive here also there. If you want to change what you receive from people then change from within – for better! And before long you’ll start receiving all the respect, help and understand from one and all” so saying she left us for good.

Each one received the answer for the question that he carried with him that day. We had our issues and based on that we had our questions prepared.

“I want to end this marriage. I am not getting what I am expecting. Tell me what to do?”

And that’s how we kept ourselves busy with outside world. We thought we could find joy in the worldly things. And so we looked for toys to engage ourselves and for our happiness. These toys were materials sometimes like house, job and money and so on or people like spouse, kids or friends. Everything that we engaged ourselves with was just a toy for us. No doubt we got tired of one the moment we got it and had played with it for some time.

·        What is the purpose of these many years of meditation / sadhan if I couldn’t enjoy one simple boat ride?
·        Why did that empty boat come and hit me? If it hadn’t come I wouldn’t have lost my temper?
·        All my years of sadhan / meditation should have averted ‘this accident’ (of empty boat coming and hitting his boat) from happening. Why didn’t that happen?

But he didn’t. All the years of meditation had given him clarity enough to not ask such baseless and senseless questions anymore. There in lay the benefit of his sadhan. There in lay the result of years of sadhan. Situations came in his life only to point out to him that he hadn’t healed himself enough. His reaction was the proof of it. His state of mind stated his clarity of thought very loud and clear. His character shone through his response”

# empty boat, you are master of your destiny, destiny, karma, psychic impressions, soul journey

Have you taken the following understanding from this post :

We are the master of our destiny!

We attract our situations in life based on 'who' we are and not on what 'we wish' for!

By changing the way we look at things, relate with things, feel about things we change the way we send our energies into the world and thereby what we attract into our lives change for better or worse - depending in which direction you change!

Our outer world is the reflection of our inner world.

If we want 'cup of our desires' to be filled, we need to empty ourselves of all that stops it from getting filled. We can't fill our cup unless we empty it first!

Points to understand :

Each season has something to offer. What you take out of it and how you apply it to your taste reflects your 'understanding capacity' and 'clarity of thought'.

If my 'understanding capacity' helps my 'clarity of thought' to see 'what I lack and how I am suffering' with every season and at every phase of life, trust me, that is 'NO UNDERSTANDING AND NO CLARITY OF THOUGHT'!

We don't even know that 'we don't know!' and there in lies our 'curse' and 'karma'.

Our anger clouds our 'clarity of thought' and understanding capacity. And we are busy justifying our anger, venting it out and aiding it all along.........

Think about it!

Life Tip :

This is the secret of Law of Universe and karma!

Universe, Reiki and everything Divine works in favour of a person who is ready to empty his 'cup'. It creates 'conditions' conducive to empty one's cup the moment one takes decision to change from within!

Be aware of it! Be grateful for it!

At the same time, don't let these miracles get into your head. Take it and keep it in your heart. Enjoy it. Relish it. But don't be arrogant because of it!

Like a mother who rocks the child in the cradle, the Universe will take care of you, your needs and supply you with things that are good for you and beneficial for you in the long run. It also will protect you from things, situations and people who are not good for your growth!

Hold on your faith and the faith will protect you!

Me, My Guru – On death and healing

Me, My Guru – On death and healing

relsase from fear | acim lessons and quotes

“Guruji, people are dying in large numbers inspite of us healing since so long. How can you say that our healing works”? demanded Vaishnav.

97 Enlightening & Powerful Quotes By Marianne Williamson To ...

Yes, though he used words like question etc he was actually demanding answers from her. He thought he was very good because he had control over his behaviour. But his nature spilled all over him and screamed of disrespect.

Over the years, I’ve understood this thing. We can act ‘good’ but our nature can’t be hidden with our ‘acting as good’ skills.

We are not what we project; we are what we are inside!

89 quotes
It was there for everyone to see. Those who had even little clarity of thought could see through a person’s ‘good and soft behaviour’. People who were on same platform over looked each other’s flaws and praised each other! Chor chor mousere bhai meaning two thieves are maternal cousins. In English we would say ‘birds of same feathers flock together’. But the Universe didn’t thankfully listen to your ‘acting behaviour’. It saw you for ‘who you are’ and gave accordingly. Only the day we understand this simple truth and accepted it would understand why we received what we received.

Quotes for Healing — “Even in the most pressured and hectic...

Her voice cut through my thoughts as she went on to answer his accusation “Once Narada Muni asked Lord Krishna “What is the usefulness of chanting ‘Narayana’? Can you explain its power to me?”

 Contd..........

# healing, power of healing, chanting, God, trust, expectations, conditions, receiving, happiness, relationships, contentment

Points to be understood :
  • Life cannot be custom made as per our likes and dislikes.
  • Just because we don't like something it doesn't go away in life.
  • Just because we are desperate for something it doesn't come into our life.
  • Life is what happens to us even while we are dreaming and planing something totally different from what is.
  • Either we learn to work around life for what it offers or suffer for what it offers. There is no middle path in this.
  • If it is called 'unfair' life would laugh and say 'so be it!' and still go on to be what it is. It is not bothered about how we frame it in our words and feelings.
  • Expecting from life and its situations is the cause of pain and suffering in our life.
Questions addressed :
  • How healing works
  • What to expect from healing
  • Expectations not necessarily met through healing always!

On changing destiny – Me, My Guru

On changing destiny – Me, My Guru

Contd..............

This was just a sheet of paper I found tucked in one of my books. When our Guru told this and how it ended – nothing was found by way of this incomplete ‘sheet of paper’. Yet, it seemed right – right now to me. I was just needing this very badly. I felt like a loner in an alien world. For the past few days I felt like crying non-stop and didn’t know where to go. And here were ‘her’ words staring at me and crying out loud solution to the problem that was squeezing from within.

Maybe it was after all true that ‘our Guru’ reached us beyond time and space........

And now it was for me to put ‘her’ words into action, because no amount of wishing can get me out of the mess I had brought myself into. I was for me to ‘do’ something to come out of it – if ‘Reiki’ gave what I wanted ‘then’; it surely can ‘give’ what I want now! I didn’t need others word for that! I knew it from my experience. I could fall back on that and take necessary steps. ‘Knowing’ what to do and how to do by itself was so liberating and gave such an impetus to my morale and confidence. My solution lay just ‘ahead of me’. All I need to do was ‘extend my hand and get it’. Now the ball was in my court – Again! And I know how to play it right ‘this time’................

PS::: ((Even my pen is bleeding with boredom when I write about marriage/job/career issues now – so, refer older blogs – it’s been dealt with as for ever and no point revisiting the same issue so many times))

No amount of councelling/talking to me will do any good if you have decided to cry and be depressed after all these explanations.........one who wants can be shown a way...not the one who is adamant in proving the 'other person/s' responsible for one's problem.....

ask me tips to change 'yourself' and i'll be all ears and will repeat the same technique again and again.....but don't even come to me even if i am the 'last' person if you want others to behave as per your desire/want....what the other person does/doesn't do is none of my business and interest ......

my only 'area' of specialization is 'how to grow above situations' and that includes ONLY CHANGING SELF.........
