Now coming to the first point – how karma impacts our lives and how it shapes our future – this case study is ‘practical lessons’ that we have taken from others’ lives. The Intelligent ones learn from their mistakes.

A wise man learns from others’ lives and mistakes.

And a fool thinks he doesn’t need to learn as he already knows it all!

How to understand these case studies:

1.    We are not here to judge others with these case studies. That’s why no name is given in these studies.

2.     My motto is not to malign their character or name. I would’ve given names if it was so! Many of these people are not even Reiki channels(RC). None of them you would meet in life. Such are the cases that are given to you – well, mostly.

3.     This exercise is not that you complain or malign or question some person’s acts or character

4.     By seeing how karma impacts or comes back into someone’s life, we’ll become more aware of how “The Law of Karma” works. Here I’ll point out a few points to you:

A huge lorry from nowhere came and rammed our car. They both were shaken. They cancelled the trip and came back. Now, my question to you is when I had done Reiki as told by you, why did our car get hit so badly?”

Most of the students accuse me or Reiki in the guise of “asking doubts”. This reflects their ingratitude, lack of clarity to perceive right and some more wonderful attitudes that if said would hurt the one concerned.

Here:

a.Life was saved and yet there is no gratitude. Of course, the sentence would start as “Yes, yes, I am grateful but…..”

NO, YOU ARE NOT GRATEFUL HERE – know this once and for all!

b.Even driver was not hurt.

c.One who was to die or be in a vegetative state for the rest of his life did not have a scratch on him and yet – only demanding explanation??!!(REALLY????)

d.There was a small tea stall and a tree where the car broke. If this is not ‘grace beyond measure’ – what is?

Let’s understand karma and destiny – see healing does heal our karma. Use sadhan required to heal the particular situation. For some, one week of healing gives results and to some it takes 10 years. And others anywhere in between.

If you desire, heal till the desire is fulfilled – however long. No one is answerable just because you are desperate for your wish to come true!

The event may still happen, but the karma will be reduced considerably by healing. Do not cry for the the car gone.

Well, this was my reply for the car “You’ve been complaining about this car since a year. Go and buy a brand new car with insurance money”.

This lady was the one who changed cars almost every year. So, where was the loss?

Such is the power of healing.

Such is the Grace of the Divine.

The Mighty Ocean just shrugged and went about his routine.

The Patridge Couple were deeply saddened. From their pain came anger. They felt they needed to teach the Mighty Ocean a lesson. So, they declared after much thought “Oh, Mighty Ocean, because you weren’t responsible enough to take care of our eggs and nest, we are going to fill you completely with sand. You’ll dry up soon. That is the punishment we chose to give you”.

The Mighty Ocean heard this and laughed. He didn’t bother to give a reply. He felt their decision and resolve highly impossible to be acted upon. He continued with his life happily!

Little by little, the two Patridges carried sand in their beaks and dropped into the Ocean. They did this continuously – all through the day without taking a break! They were watched by the other patridges. The other Patridges were amused at the sight. After watching them do this for quite sometime, they asked the Patridge couple “What are you both doing since morning and why?”

The Patridge couple narrated the entire story. Hearing the story, the other patridges asked “But, you both are such tiny birds. And your beaks are even smaller. How do you both think you can fill the Mighty Ocean with sand with your tiny beaks? How long will it take? It may take forever. What is the purpose of doing an act that may never give the result that you seek?”

The female Patridge replied “We don’t care how long it takes. We have to punish the Mighty Ocean for breaking his promise. We have made this decision. We’ll keep working on our resolve till we are! We’ll not stop before our resolve is fulfilled”.

The other Patridges were highly impressed seeing their love for their little ones and their resolve to fight against the Mighty Ocean. They felt as fellow partridges, they had to help the patridge couple in fulfilling their resolve.  They felt it was their duty to stand by their fellow bird.

Who is the successful healer?

You have been a successful healer not in terms of getting your desires fulfilled. It is not even in making your life easy and comfortable. You are one when you have healed at least one relationship of yours completely in your life of its emotion – be it hatred, jealousy or attachment. If you have outgrown any of these emotions in any of the relationships, then you have been a successful healer for sure. If you have seen the other in the relationship outgrow these feelings for you then also you have healed right as a healer. You have put healing to best you. You have healed the “foundation of karma”. And that therefore has impact on every future life of yours to come.

You are a successful healer if you have dropped a quality of yours that was detrimental to your growth like laziness, procrastination, anger, hatred, fear and so on and so forth. They shouldn’t be overcome for a week or so. They should become your nature. Your natural behaviour should reflect the new qualities that you have imbibed. They should be expressed effortlessly in you.

We are not sent to this world to enjoy it. That is where we are stuck. We think our life is to enjoy it the way we want to. It does seem so in some cases. But that is not so in their cases also. Everyone is given a situation so that they can learn a lesson, undo the harm they have done for themselves and others. They are given an opportunity to heal their karma.

So, we are given so many relationships to work our karma. We tolerate some, hate others and ignore many. But, nowhere we have learned to love. As long as we don’t learn to love the ones we have in life, we never can be fulfilled or satisfied in any of our “new” relationships. Hard but real fact of life!

So, look around! Find the relationships which have dent in them. Heal them. Address them. Use them to learn about yourself. Grow along with healing these relationships and lo! Even when you weren’t looking for it, love enters your life – just like that!

If we do not know the climatic conditions of a country, how will we know what and when to wear? How will you judge the right time to plant flowers?

We all by now realized that our thoughts are the basis of our karma and destiny. We receive what we do based on what we think. So to be able to think beneficial to ourselves we need to know first how our mind functions. Only when we see its flaws and its process of working, will we be able to put it to good use with the necessary techniques!

Regarding your next question, yes healing helps to get your wish fulfilled. But have you noticed that when we stop healing or when things fall in place (as per our desire list) things do go wrong also immediately after?

There is this eternal high and low in life situations and that makes us restless, cranky, and sad to joy and happiness alternatively. When happy we are afraid of coming pain. When in pain we are suffering it and totally devastated by its uncertainty of coming to an end! We are for ever in pain and suffering.

There is only one way to enjoy this ride of life – to train our mind good enough to enjoy all the rides that life has to offer us!

“Guruji, I am not able to discipline myself. I have tried everything in the book and yet….Please guide me so that I am able to break any “habit of mine”. You always ask us to work on our habits and yet here I am as weak as my habit – as ever!” asked a student who I didn’t recognise. But, he seemed close to her. It was evident from the way he was talking to her and questioning her.

Our Guru looked at all of us and started the explanation “What is the hardest thing to break?

It is “Habit”.

Look at that word. The word itself has answers in it. Even if you break H from it, “a bit” still remains. From that, if you remove “a” then, “bit” remains.  Even if you remove “B” from “bit”, “it” still remains. And finally when you get to remove “t”, there is still the “I”. And that “I” is the root cause of all problems – yours and mine. Now the question is “are we ready to remove that “I”?   

Start working on “I”. Break it – little by little. As it breaks, your old habits will drop down effortlessly and new ones and better ones will shine forth and before long you will be a new person with a set of ‘good habits’.”

Her answer seemed easy and hard. Easy to understand and hard to follow. It was such times I doubted if she was here to help us or confuse us. But, the student who came with a question simply prostrated before her and left with a smile. He seemed sure of the answer. He seemed satisfied with the answer. He seemed to get what he had come to seek.

Why her explanation evoked different responses from each of us is a question I couldn’t find an answer to till date….but that is for some other day….

• Basis of habits is our nature.

“Guruji, do you have powers to know your karma? Do you know your karma?” asked I

“Guruji, have you seen God? Does HE actually exist? What is your relation with Him?” asked another at the same time.

“Every time I look at my life, the question of my karma is obvious and clear. And, whenever I see beauty and goodness in people I know God exists. Wherever people who follow “Dharma” are respected, valued, celebrated and looked after well, God exists there” our Guru replied with a smile “and He exists whether or not I know Him. But till I know Him my existence is no existence. That much I know” she concluded.

I learnt one important point or law as I would later realize. “Don’t ask questions, the answers of which you are not capable of handling”.

like this there are so many articles/posts I have written and have been writing since 13 yrs on this subject....instead of waiting for the answer to be served on your plate if ONLY you took pain to go through all the remaining posts too that are on this Subject, all your questions would be answered......you can clearly see where your pain and suffering is coming from.......but to address the pain should be one's agenda for that. One who wants to just complain about it is not going to benefit from any of these posts though!!

One person does sadhan just to change his attitude. He accepts flaw in his attitude. He seeks ‘mercy’ in exchange for his sadhan.

While the Other person thinks he is ‘right’ and deserves to receive he demands his wishes.

Who do you think receives ‘blessings’ in the form of wish fulfillment?

The other agrees that he is not with right attitude. He is ever working on his attitude. He just ‘serves’ as a way to give back for all he has received. Who receives abundance?

One is grateful even for the pain and suffering and is ever singing praises of the Lord for being with him.

While the other starts his statement with ‘yes, yes, I agree I received but….’. By saying but he is ever negating all that is given to him by the ‘Lord’. What is the attitude that his every complaint and his whiny nature expresses?

Now, you tell which attitude will attract more miracles in his life?

One is counting his blessing, while the other his ‘yet to be fulfilled list of desires’. Who do you think is genuinely grateful?

One is bitter and complaining. He is ever demanding with /but I didn’t receive this or such things /experiences didn’t happen to me’. He is looking at what others have and desires what others have.
