Sadhan for the Invocation of Rama into our lives, Nation and the World!

Sadhan for the Invocation of Rama into our lives, Nation and the World!

Further to https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/search?q=ram+lalla, I am very glad that at least one among you - Swathi has been able to complete the entire sadhan as decided and instructed.

Not for just this sadhan but see for yourself in any venture, there are lots of takers at the start.

Many drop out after a few days.

Some more drop out after walking for a few more days.

Just a handful keep walking still!

Then, most drop out and only a couple touch the end line!

So, it happened this time too - even in sadhan - or maybe more so in Sadhan!

But, even if one person comes to the finish line it is a huge cause of celebration for all of us!

Because, every time, someone walks this path (however little it maybe) diligently, it impacts the whole group. That person is carrying the torch for the entire group at that point of time!

As most of you must have noticed, people participating in the blog also change from time to time. Look at the comments to understand this. No person has been continuously following the blog since its inception. The only constant with the blog is 'me'!

Readers come and go. Then, some come back after some time. Then they continue for some more time and then go away.

Why does this happen?

Mostly, people are regular when they are facing a problem. Once the problem is solved, they go away. Then after a few years, they end up facing some problems in life and then they come back and become regulars in the blog |(and also in class).

I am yet to meet a person who continues with sadhan, is regular with sadhan, has the same amount of respect, affection, and gratitude as when he started and is sincere with sadhan with the same intensity!!! https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/2016/01/how-your-feed-back-helps.html

People use the words "gratitude", "love", "bhakt/devotee/devotion", "faith" so casually and yet the truth of these words is just this - "https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/2022/04/on-faith-and-being-faithful.html".

Don't worry or feel bad. No one is judging you. You are who you are! You are not answerable to anyone - and it applies to me too in your life! but, you need to know yourself - the real way! And for that, one needs to take action. One needs to be courageous to walk this path! One needs to take time to look within and find out the real emotions, real feelings, real thought processes and the real you! And then, therein you will find the way to solve all the causes of your pain and suffering! https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/2009/04/know-thyself.html

And the first step towards that path and end is the "regular sadhan".

Swathi, for doing it "this time" and for being the only one - will receive reiki for one week.

For not expecting anything in return and just doing sadhan for sadhan's sake - she receives Reiki for one week - again!

For silently following the instructions - with no questions and no demands - for one fortnight - again!

Each attitude of a person brings abundance or pain depending on the attitude - every single time it is expressed by the person. https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/2017/05/ask-and-it-shall-be-given-me-my-guru_26.html. Here, it is obvious. In life too, it happens, it's just that we are not aware of what we receive.  We are not generous and honest enough to validate what we receive. We feel entitled and so we count our blessings also as our "right" and grow in bitterness instead of gratitude!

What she received from me is nothing to what she is to receive in exchange for her sadhan. https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/2023/09/on-receiving-for-healing-and-growing.html. Swathi is to open her eyes and heart to see it and validate it. So, it is for everyone else too!

Jai Shree Ram!

Reflections – on Cleaning Lady Achamma

Reflections – on Cleaning Lady Achamma

A couple of days later, a student paid me 10 times that amount. Nothing big if it was for a class taken! But this student never attends classes or comes for any counseling. This Reiki channel doesn’t bother me with any questions. And yet, periodically he comes (after taking an appointment only) stays for ½ an hour – in whichever class that is being conducted that day, places the ‘dakshina’ (offering) and leaves. I asked him a couple of times the reason for the same. I told him “You don’t take any counseling or attend classes and yet, why do you pay?”

He smiles gently and replies “My works get completed whenever I do Reiki. So many issues get resolved and all that is because of Reiki. So!”

I asked “But, that is because YOU are DOING Reiki for that! Why pay me for that?”

He smiled and replied “It’s all your grace”

He requests me to accept his humble offerings (in his words) and leaves. He never asked for anything. He faces lots of problems and yet he never complains. He is ever grateful for all he receives because of Reiki.

One time he told me “Whatever and whenever I offer anything here, I receive 10 times of that – always!”

Now what did you understand from this episode?

That you’ll receive 10 times what you pay me?

NO – NEVER!

|Understanding the keywords right!

|Understanding the keywords right!

Happiness is the new rich!

Inner peace is the new success!

Health is the new wealth!

Kindness is the new cool!

These are the new ways the Western World has opened up to the old words of happiness, peace, health, wealth and cool!

Finally, what the Vedantic philosophy has always stood by is being recognised as the key to a successful and fulfilling life!

But, what a way to learn?! Do we always have to learn it the hard way, I wonder!

We are always blessed by elders as ‘khush raho’ i.e., be happy! ‘We are blessed not to be 'successful’ as much as to be happy…and we thought less of that. But, the world is opening up to this fact that success and opulence of material success does not translate as happiness. So, let’s go within and find our definition of our happiness. That would make our job to make it happen easier. We’ll know what to heal for start.

Next, it’s peace. We have been living under the delusion for long thanks to western influence that controlling our life situations and people in our life is the key to success. We have been made to believe that ‘I’ am the ONLY thing that matters and for that people are to be used. We forgot all the right values in life. And we have paid very heavy price for that! We have lost our peace. We have lost our courage. We are living in fear. We are standing all alone, weak and pathetic! Think about it!

# happiness, we get what we want, success, ask and it shall be given,

Questions addressed and points to be noted:

  • Do we know the meaning of the words that we utter and use?
  • We say something but many times we mean something else altogether. Have you wondered why?
  • "Sorry maam, I didn't mean that" is the common statement made when I question your intentions. If you didn't mean it then why did you say so? If there is no clarity between what you say and what you mean then don't you think you are sending wrong messages to the Universe? May be, this is also one of the causes for things going in a certain way in your life??!!
  • Unless  you know the meaning of your words you will not be able to express right.
  • Unless you express right, you don't communicate right.
  • Unless you communicate right, you can't have good relationships.
  • Unless you have good relationships you can't experience affection, peace and happiness from any of your relationships.
  • Take time to know yourself! All other things will follow suit!

Me, My guru – on looking within!

Me, My guru – on looking within!

“But Guruji, how can we forgive someone who has cheated us and failed us so many times? Don’t give me some story to support “forgiveness” this time, please. I feel if we let them get away then they will assume they are right and become more arrogant. I think they will keep doing wrong more than ever. What is punishment for?” I was more than frustrated today and asked my Guru these questions. They have been pending since forever. They were with many for long. But, every time she would give some story and tell, “Forgive”. But, not today!

“My job is not to find faults. My job is not to judge anyone. My job is not to taunt others and make them feel bad about their weaknesses, flaws and faults. I am not here to change people. My job is not to keep count of others’ wrongs. All that is “HIS” job and his purview.

My job is only to love, heal, care, show compassion, understanding, cheer when someone is making an effort to overcome some weakness. And with that ends my job. Not, tell me, where is there scope for anger, hatred, curse in my job?” said my Guru with a smile.

I was floored. It wasn’t easy being her!

It wasn’t easy being selfless and compassionate! But, she made it seem so effortless that it felt like even we could embrace those qualities. And that thought was enough for us to keep working on ourselves.

Maybe, that was the reason we kept coming back to her. Maybe, that was the reason we still were with her after all these years. It wasn’t for her. It was because coming here we still kept hope for our change to grow strong. I smiled. I nodded my head and thanked my God. For once there was sincerity in my “thank you”.

Today, I understood where and what to focus on! Today I understood where I had been going wrong. My suffering was not because of what was happening in my life. It was because of where my focus was. But now, I knew all I had to do was to focus on the wrong of self over others!

It is simple and yet so difficult! With her, it was the simple ones that were so very difficult – always!

Questions addressed and points to understand:

  • When is it difficult to forgive?
  • How to see a situation so that the need to forgive doesn't arise?
  • Change of perception that can free us from hatred for others who have hurt us, cheated us, abused us and had been very selfish in our life...
  • We are not "judges". We are not here to run the world. We are not given power to hurt others or sentence others for their acts. We are as guilty as others in action and deed and word...
  • When we look at others' wrongs we want and talk about justice. We wish them to be sentenced for their wrongs.
  • But when our wrongs are counted we seek forgiveness and mercy. We plead Gurus, others and God to not curse us for our wrongs. We preach the importance of forgiveness to others.
  • If we want to be forgiven for our sins we should also forgive the sins of others.
  • Every wrong is addressed by karma. Let's not take it upon ourselves to hurt others in the name of justice.

Look within!

Look within!

Why do I get the feeling that you already have all the answers?

And that, you are wanting to hear the same answers and solutions from me today?

But, when you already have all the cards in your hand, why look any further?

Nobody in this world or above can know you more than your own heart! And if it has answers and solutions for you, then it can never be wrong!

Nobody can know what you want more than your heart. Nobody can want ‘good’ for you more than your heart.

Listen to your heart. Follow your heart. And trust me on this. You are in safe hands – for once!

So, if it is saying ‘Trust it’.

Go with it. Make it your ‘Guru’ for the day! Let it guide you.

Be relaxed and put your jitters in your stomach, fear, tension and all that out of window and follow your heart.

Trust me on this, you fill land safe.

# listen to your heart, be a guru unto yourself, guru, miracles, on listening, Universe talks to you, on God, being available, ask and it shall be given, seek and it shall be shown,

The Mystic says - On prayers being answered!

The Mystic says - On prayers being answered!

The Mystic says “If you call out to Him in pain, He listens. He answers. But, are your ears open enough to listen to Him?”

"अगर आप सच्चे मन से उसे पुकारोगे तो वह ज़रूर सुनता है। और अगर कोई सवाल करो तो वह जवाब ज़रूर देता है।  पर क्या उसके जवाब तुम सुन पाते हो? "

agar aap sacche man se use pukaaroge tho woh zaroor suntha hai. aur agar koi sawaal karo tho woh jawaab zaroor detha hai. par kya uske jawaab tum sun paathe ho?

Now what does ear mean here?

How do we get His answers? Does He shout from sky above?

What are His ways of answering?

Have you asked any questions - ever? Did you receive any answers? How?

When you didn't receive any answers, what do you think could be the reason?

Me, My Guru – on asking the right question

Contd.....

Me, My Guru – on asking the right question

How many times must we have asked a wrong question and got wrong answer? And how many times we would have lived with that wrong answer?

Yes, we did get no for an answer, but we would have not only gotten yes for an answer but also gotten over our problem in the first place if, if only we knew how to ask?

This set me thinking on so many levels.

I applied it at the physical level and so many of my problems were addressed right away.

I applied it in my relationships and I found cause of my bitterness and lack of happiness and contentment in my relationships.

I applied it in me asking Universe/Reiki/guru questions and knew why I got the answer that I got now….

Now I knew why I lacked abundance in so many fields of my life and the reason and way to address that too……

I need to work on this area – I need to work way too much in this area….

Concluded......

Me, My Guru – on asking the right question

Me, My Guru – on asking the right question

One of the students wanted to attend a certain class. He came down and asked, “Guruji, are you conducting my class this Sunday?”

She replied with a smile “No”.

He bowed and left.

I was puzzled. I knew the class that he wanted. And I also knew that that particular class was this Saturday. And yet our Guru didn’t say anything about that class.

Not able to contain myself I asked our Guru “But Guruji, his class is on Saturday. Then why didn’t you tell him that”

Our Guru smiled and answered “Because he didn’t ask ‘when is my class?’ He asked me if he had a class this Sunday and I gave him reply for that question.”

I was stunned. It was so right and so simple!

Pointers from the post:

" “Guruji, are you conducting my class this Sunday?”

She replied with a smile “No”." - Look at the question and answer again. If and only if that student had asked "Guruji when can I have my class? or Can you conduct class for me this week or something like that" then he would have had his class that week.

He not only postponed his class, he delayed his learning by God knows how many more days/weeks/years to come?

Never postpone learning.

There will be a mindset that would blame Guru here. Good for them. But remove Guru represents "One who is everywhere too" by one of the qualities that Guru has. Then here it means you are going to ask in similar fashion everywhere. Maybe, the answers you got is because of how you asked the question. Change the way you ask question and you will see the difference in the way it is answered.

Instead of blaming someone for change, try to see where the problem is and correct it and see the solution right in front of you. Sometimes, the problem vanishes on its own too....

Was it useful?

Did you see how it fits in your life?

Are you able to see how it would ease your life in at least few ways?

On Shraddha!

On Shraddha!

Each unto his shraddha!

Each one receives as per his shraddha. Shraddha removes arrogance. There is no sense of 'entitlement' in shraddha. Shraddha believes that it is 'grace or mercy' of the 'giver'. Shraddha takes away feeling of 'I got it or I have to get it as I deserve it'...

With Shraddha comes surrenderence. With Shraddha comes attitude to ‘just follow’ without questioning the ‘order’ or analysing the ‘order’.

Shraddha increases the ‘faith’ of the sadhak. It increases his internal strength to face ups and downs of his life. It removes his fear. It builds him. It brings out his latent strengths to the fore! It lets his ‘best version’ to shine forth! Shraddha gives ‘tejas’ to the one who has it!

Shraddha doesn’t want anything in return. And yet when it is exhibited it gives all to its owner.

One who ‘tries to develop’ Shraddha to get something doesn’t get both Shraddha and the things of this world!

Think about it!

What does this post clarify on the same?

How is shradda related to your homework and your experience?

Why is there a difference in your experiences when the HW given is same to all?

What is the basic difference between two sadhaks and their returns (or what they have received from their sadhan)?

Affection and courage!

Affection and courage

Affection and courage are two essential qualities required in a man of character!!!

Only a person who has at least little affection in him can see how much the other has given him. Only a heart filled with love can validate what he has received from the other. Only then can he ‘value’ what he has received and how much he owes the other.

Only when he acknowledges his debt towards the giver will he value his services correctly.

It is the ‘demonic’ nature that is reflected when one only finds fault with the other (especially Reiki, Guru or God!!)

No doubt all ‘asuras’ had hatred towards ‘The Vishnu’. Not because of ‘who’ Vishnu was – not even because of what He did or didn’t do! It was because ‘hatred’ was all that they carried within them and so directed it towards him. A person who is abusing (towards anyone) can never ever love or be loved. Well, even if the ‘other’ is generous enough to love they wouldn’t validate it, see it or appreciate it.

Point to ponder :

I give link and thinking it is waste of time few don't read them. Others skip them thinking and saying "oh, i read blog daily so i have already read them"...and yet

and yet these are the ones who come asking me the same question year after year "but maam...why is it...?"

What could be the reason that we don't take answer through blog when it is given and demand for answers in person?
