On comparison of characters

….contd…..

She’s a good cook and you are not. That way, she automatically becomes ‘good wife’ and you bad. Would you agree? She is good looking and you are not. Would you say ‘she is good wife because she’s beautiful and I am bad husband as I am not!

Why don’t you compare all these too? We compare senselessly and then ask ‘why am I suffering with her?’. The answer is simple. Because, ‘you are you’. You’ll only suffer – be it with anyone. And when you keep comparing you bring the energies of the person whom you admire into the person you complain about.

It means if you say ‘my friend is so lucky, his wife manages money wisely and multiplies it and why doesn’t my wife do that?’ you know what really happens. This is a real life case!

If you listen attentively and understand correctly you’ll immediately know why things took the shape this way in your life!

In this particular case, let’s call the complaining party as venkat and his friend as Ram. What Venkat failed to see was –

-ram’s wife wasn’t working and hence wasn’t earning a single pie, whereas his wife was and moreover she was the one clearing all their dues, footing most of their dues, taking care of her needs and over and above that she wouldn’t even ask how much he was earning and why he wasn’t saving?
