D. “I need every gadget available in the market to be happy”.
This is one belief system that is driving each one of us crazy. We are just not satisfied with having gadgets but are craving for the latest though the one we already are using is under-utilised and we are ignorant of most of its options that exits.
Wanting to possess things is not against ‘abundance’. All through India has been a country of both material and spiritual excellence and abundance. Then, where is the problem now with possessions? Simple:
“In good old days, people used things and loved people
but now
we are loving things and using people.”
This small shift is the basis of all our problems. Beware of it!
The curse of past was humans were treated as slaves and the danger of the future is that men might become Robots....
Remember one of our most favourite dialogues: “I’ve car, house, bank balance etc. What do you have?”

Madam is Great grandmaster....she may not be having desires for luxury items...
Maa kashtaalu madam ku yemi telusuuu..? Eeevanni lekapote eee bratuku yenduku...? Sanyasam puchuukunte aipotundi.
Yeppudu idi ledu, adi ledu, ani edusthu unde bratuku enduku manaku?
(One might justify his desires saying that all these get him happiness, and he is not a sanyasee to not enjoy..
But if i want a diamond necklace and cry for it day in and day out, is it worth having in the first place?..
If i really want a diamond necklace, the very thought of it should bring a smile on my face, whether or not i possess it.
In my opinion, sanyasam is not abandoning all the material things in life, it is a state where you are "complete" and "happy" with or without the material)
