on waiting!

On waiting.....

Stop waiting ...........

Enough of waiting....

I am done waiting for friday....
I am done waiting for someone to fall in love with....
I am done waiting for life to happen ..

Let my resolve be to end the "waiting"..

It doesn't matter what I am waiting for or what I have been waiting for - all these days / years / life times....

Let me for NOW decide to stop waiting and start living...

Living not because it is "happening" or what I envisage it to be...

but "living" because I want to make the most of "what i have " right NOW, right HERE rather than the "best" to happen to me....

Just for ONCE let me decide to stop "waiting" and start "living" what ever it is I am endowed with as of now - just for say 48 days to come......

I want to see it's effect for once....

I want to know if it would make a difference...

I want to try something different because anyhow what I "believe" in and how I behave didn't and doesn't get me where I want to be and get me what I WANT .........

So just for 48 days I want to change the way I THINK, FEEL AND START LIVING - IN NOW AND HERE.....

Are you with me on this Adventure Mission?

On waiting!

On waiting!

There is a 'waiting period' between our wish and its fulfillment!

That "period of waiting" that we use to go between hope and fear is the worst part of "waiting" - not because it is, but because it puts us into open.

It challenges our "faith" that we say and declare we have.

It exposes us to the fear we never expected knew existed in us!

And it reflects our weakness like never before...

We are not happy to know that - be that - realize that and accept that!

And that comes out as anger.

And this anger we generate we think and hold our Guru/Reiki/God responsible!!?? What a pity! And what clarity of thought?

Image result for waiting quotes

There are few who see this. They see their fear as their own doing and so go within and work on it. They work on their anger!

The waiting period becomes a beautiful period of 'healing self' that is exposed to themselves at that time!

They "receive" "GRACE"

Others just have their wish fulfilled and remain as they were - before...

How to turn every situation to our benefit?

The mystic says – On waiting!

Contd....

The mystic says – On waiting!

Patience is not just passing the ability to wait.  It is the ability to keep the right attitude, being calm while waiting. Everything comes to those who can wait!

Everyone is forced to wait. But, the ones who have faith in the process or in the Creator will have cheerful disposition while waiting!

Where there is no trust, it expresses itself as complaints, fear, anger, anxiety and tears. Trust doesn’t demand! And while it waits , it creates – something beauriful and useful to the world.

And those who know to wait and who can wait, enjoy waiting. For them waiting is no pain!so you see, desire/wish not being fulfilled is not the problem or the cause of our suffering. The attitude we have while waiting is the problem.

Patience is not a word! It is an attitude. It is developed when we put that in practice. We can practice it only when we get a chance to "wait" for something we desire so badly!

So, let's put all our waiting time to good use. Let's develop the virtue so important for our existence. It is imperative for our mental well-being. It is so essential for our peace of mind. It is the foundation on which our happiness rests! Let's build this attitude solely for our well-being - not to please any God high above us!

On waiting , desiring and having!

On waiting , desiring and having!
Image result for waiting for someone quotes

Everyone desires!

Everyone waits!

And most have what they desire eventually!

If what you want is not out of love you will eventually grow out of it. If you get it after the stipulated time and you have lost interest in it, know it never was out of love. It was just greed, want and lust based. It wasn't love in the first place!

Image result for waiting for someone to be happy quotes
If you loved someone ever, you can never outgrow them. You can never feel you are glad they are not part of your life when you meet them few years down the line. You wouldn't thank God for making you 'miss them' ever! You do all this only if it was not 'love' in the first place. It was crush! It was lust. It was desire. It was infatuation. But it never was love in the first place!

Image result for waiting for someone to be happy quotesOne who knows to love is never capable of hating anyone. Not even the circumstances that keep him away from the object of his love.

And to love you don't need to have a person. It flows as a 'feeling' that blesses everyone who comes their way. It flows as a good will and help for everyone. It flows as a gesture to alleviate others pain and suffering wherever one comes across that!

When someone is counting 'money' wasted in feeding colleagues, friends and people in his life, know he is not capable of love. And one who can't love can never get it for sure!

Image result for waiting for someone to be happy quotesIf it (love) can't express itself as concern, being happy in others success and wellness then how can it exist in the first place?

Only a person who has love in him can attract love in his life....others just have partners with whom they have expectations, demands and complaints......

# love, waiting, life, relationships, right person, soulmate

Points to understand/ponder and questions answered :

  • Why we suffer the person and relationship inspite of having waited for him and the relationship to happen often?
  • Where is the difference between lust and love?
  • How to be happy in a relationship that we desire to have and experience?
  • The basis of every relationship is "intention" and the "emotion" that we bring into it. People always confuse their wants, needs and lust as love and suffer in life and its choices.
  • Change the way you operate and learn to celebrate life.
  • Work on yourself as you wait for things to happen in life so that you actually enjoy 'what you want' when you 'get it' in life.

Stories and all! Two men in the bus-stop

Contd....

Stories and all! Two men in the bus-stop

The first boy reached the hospital. His family was already waiting for him there. It was the day of chemotherapy for him. He walked towards the door of the hospital. It would be a long painful day for him. But he looked at his family and smiled. Yes, he would bear the pain of this treatment to be with this family! He entered the hospital with a smile.

So, you see in life, in our life we have both options and situations that we face.

Situation A was like ‘the wait’ at the bus-stop. Many are waiting in the ‘stop’ called ‘time’. The bus they are waiting for is ‘the fulfillment of their desire’. Sometimes, it is possible that the wait is long. Sometimes our ‘desires’ seems to get ‘deferred’ of fulfillment – as in bus that was full!

All wait! But the one who is ADAMANT that everything SHOULD work out his way would suffer the wait. He would suffer the most! Even during the wait that person would miss out on ‘moments worth living’ saying ‘but I don’t want this now, I want THAT now!’ This happens because we ‘condition’ our desire. We ‘expect’ it to go in certain pace and the way we want. We long to jump ahead of time and reach our desire.

But the one who is calm and collected waits! He enjoys the wait. He takes in every moment in this journey of life. He lives life! He is not defining life by only achievements and events. He sees events as just one more station of life – not the goal by itself. He doesn’t hurry. And so he lives life!

Me, My Guru - On life and death – III!

Contd....

Me, My Guru - On life and death – III!

3.Don’t wait to share your affection, thoughts (right ones), time, gifts with the person you care about. You never know when you have to say ‘goodbye’ to people in your life. When we lose a person then we sit and regret and miss that person. Don’t be that fool any longer. Just live relationships for what and how they are meant to be like! Throw that list of complaints, to-do-list and fault-finding nature out of the window. Go, live life with that person. We miss out on ‘living a relationship’ (when I say relationship I don’t mean just the one that all want to or have with the ‘special one!?’ but every relationship that constitutes our world) by way of complaints and then pray “God, give me long life” Why? Whatever you are doing now, you are going to do till 100!?

What is the purpose of carrying this bitterness till ripe old age? We are waiting for that ‘special person’ to come. We are wishing for person ‘now’ in our life to vanish from our lives. We are assuming to live life happily in our imagination. There in our imagination we have all our conditions met. But, that day, sadly is never gonna come. So, in short we are never gonna be happy. Then why live life so long?

4.People who sit to discuss, analyse and trying to understand hardly go from point A to B. But, the one – the one like that students’ sister – the moment they hear about someone being in some sadhan would follow suit. They don’t sit to gauge its uses, benefits or understand it’s working. That is ‘love’ (love for self) that drives you to pick up something even without reasoning about it. That is ‘trust’ that drives a person to reach great heights of growth through a simple procedure followed. The quality required for this is purity of intent, trust and surrenderence!

also read suggested : https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/2009/03/real-growth-is-in-letting-go.html

Points to understand post :

"the moment they hear about someone being in some sadhan would follow suit." - 1.Most common excuse for not coming to class or doing sadhan is "I don't have company" or "I am waiting for XYZ to get time so that we would come together"

Do everything in life together. But we are born alone and die alone. We also have to fight our inner demons alone! Don't wait for others to come with  you. ONLY in this area of life, be totally selfish. Ask others to come with you, encourage others to work with you and come with you. But if they don't, don't wait for them. It's your time and life you are wasting. Think about it!

2.The sister of the monk did not postpone being in sadhan. She didn't say "But Buddha is dying. I will learn at my pace and at my sweet convenience." We all assume we have time. WE DON'T. Don't fret it away with lame excuses. Sadhan, sadhan nothing like sadhan!

Grab every opportunity to fine tune yourself! Every step taken towards knowing your inner thoughts takes you towards your real self - the core of your being - the centre of abundance of every kind!

When  you come to class, you not only heal yourself but with your 'healed self' you are better company to the one you are/have been waiting for. Isn't it? A person when he heals himself, makes atmosphere good and comfortable to all with whom he is interacting, living and being in relation with! Then is it not sensible to come alone rather than not come alone to class?

Do you stop sleeping, eating, travelling or enjoying life just because that 'someone' is not there with you? Then why that reason for sadhan and for coming to class?

Question time :

The points explained doesn't sum up all the points that can be understood through this post. There is lot more to it than that meets the eye!

All the students understanding doesn't sum up all that needs to be understood from the story that the Guru told. What is your take on that story?

How did this post make its mark?

What did you take from this post?

on feedback etc....

Contd.....

Trust me, I’ve realized many times – even when in extreme pain (of any sort!) that just ‘existence is worth a celebration’. Yes pain hurts but to experience pain I should exist. If I am experiencing pain that means I am still alive and kicking. People with leprosy and acute diabetes don’t experience pain in their extremities and lose them over the period of time as they couldn’t realize it was infected and had to be healed in time. We address a disease only when we feel it. If we don’t feel it, how can I know of it’s existence? So, you see pain is good. It helps us to look into the area of trouble.

When someone askes ‘how are you?’ I say ‘maze mein....

“zindagi mein gam hai,

Gam mein dard hai,

Dard mein mazaa hai,

Aure maze mein hum hai....”

ज़िन्दगी में ग़म है
ग़म में दर्द है
दर्द में मज़ा है
और मज़े में हम है। ...

there is sorrow in life,
in sorrow there is some pain
but in pain there is pleasure
and in that pleasure am I...

So when things are not going your way, you are in different time zone from others and they will happen as per your time zone. So wait! But, with a smile on your lips and hope in your eyes! Learn the art of waiting! Learn to wait! Learn to love waiting! Learn to live!

And you have reiki to support you...

Do re-birth meditation with needed attitude....

Heal, heal and heal. Use all waiting period to heal so that you also enjoy what you desired when it is yours.

Successful ones are those that get what they want.

Contended and happy ones are those that want what they have!

So, work towards being happy person. Heal so much that you celebrate life when your wish comes true! Otherwise with many it is “Ask and it shall be given and then suffer with your asking...”

I may have left few loose ends and if you happen to pick them up do ask questions and I’ll try to write on them.....

The mystic says – On waiting!

The mystic says – On waiting!

When we desire something, it doesn’t manifest immediately.

We have to wait! We are forced to wait – each one of us – be it Lord Rama when he was in search of Mother Sita or Lord Shiva, when he had to wait for Mother Shakthi to take form to unite with her after her demise as Sati.

When Ma Sita was kidnapped by Ravanasur, Lord Rama couldn’t send the search party immediately. Why? Because it was rainy season. They had to wait for the season to pass! Look at the emergency and yet, they had to wait! What can be more pressing than that situation in our lives? Lord Rama is not great because he killed the man who took his wife – no, because of how he conducted himself throughout his life, especially during his testing times. Patience is a virtue! A virtue that is rare to come by! And our Lord Rama had it in abundance. And that is one of the reasons why he came to be called “Purushottama” – jewel among men.
