Patience

Patience!

There is a virtue called 'patience' that is hardly given its due - be it in living, waiting or healing.

This looks like a forgotten art! It is as I see....

Image result for urgency to heal quotesThe need and desire to have everything at our beck and call, the need to have our desire fulfilled, our agenda worked out and kept ready for our 'consumption' (by some menial workers whom we call as Gurus or God / Gods - but then do we not call them so so they can do the needful for us every single time - immediately!)

Image result for urgency to heal quotesEven waiting for our desire to be fulfilled is a 'favour' we seem to feel as if we are doing on Gurus and Gods! How 'shallow' is the "worthiness" of our desires!  No doubt we end up saying "yes, our x, y, z etc desires and needs have been met but.....". We have to belittle "ALL" (read them  as plurals which run double digit and more - the wishes being fulfilled) ....

Image result for urgency to heal quotesThe hardly there acts of sadhan (like pranayamam. meditation, pooja or reiki) are processed in our brains as "great penances" that we have done over the life-times and under extreme conditions of self denial of comforts and inflicting pain on self! And we hold these acts of ours at such high levels that even a little bit of discomfort is intolerable, unacceptable to us and we demand immediate apology, remedy or justification of its walking into our lives!

Image result for urgency to heal quotesEven Rama, Krishna, Buddha and others had to face tough times, desires which got delayed (as per our demands and standards!!!) and were hardly fulfilled in many cases, had to undergo hardships - hearing this all we end up saying is "yes, i know all that maam and i have read all this but....i am not able to live with this (x/y) discomfort even for couple of hours in my life..."

My cry has to be heard!
My needs to be fulfilled!
My questions to be answered!

What other person / God has to face, undergoing is none of my business..and then why should it be? If I am looking into their sides then .......no. i am not bothered about others - be their limitations, problems or reasons for not doing what I want them to!

Where are we coming from with such thoughts and thought process? Selfish is a very small word for such an unpardonable behaviour and nature and yet HE lets us be and doesn't send some trouble as a form of punishment by itself is a huge "grace" I should be grateful for and yet.......

Image result for urgency to heal quotesOnly the day I get to do all that needs to be done by me completely - i repeat completely (sitting crying and finding fault with others and expecting someone to fix it for me doesn't count on any account as 'the thing I need to do to fix up issues in my life') like going to a Doctor if and when there is physical /mental ailment (sleep disturbances, depression, laziness etc also come under this type), doing all that needs to be done physically and spiritually and even then if the issue is not fixed, then realize that it is my 'karma' (not all karma can be healed and some has to be borne) to bear this pain, discomfort or suffering happily and be done with it.....

Most of them get over with within a short span of time.......but an adamant person who is not ready to accept even a wee bit of disturbance in his plan or routine will undergo it with lots of suffering.......but a grateful heart and an open mind will thank God for taking our the 'karma' with such small measure or way....

which side of the attitude are you?

That side decides the time you will be healed of your issue - sooner or later.

for further questions that arise read https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/search?q=healing instead of doing all the talking in that brain of yours.......

Questions answered addressed in this post :

- Why  problems / discomfort in life?

- How to address an issue? Everytime we face a gap between wanting and having, a little detour in our routine etc - is crying and complaining continuously about it the way to address it or live with it?

- attitude that betters life and issues and ones that stop or delay healing...

- anger on our demands not being met
