On relationships – The one that matters the most!



The one relationship that matters the most is the one we have with ourselves. Because that is the foundation on which all other relationships are built. Take time to be with yourself. Take time to look at the way you talk to yourself.

If the self-talk has any or all of the following then, then we need to take immediate and corrective steps to address them ASAP.

a.being ashamed of self

b.saying ‘you are not worthy of it etc’

c. no good can happen in my life

d.being negative about self or thinking negative about one’s self

e.I am not worthy of love and respect by anyone

Take time to listen to yourself. Are you demeaning yourself in your thoughts? Are you good with self in your thoughts? Are you judging yourself always?

If all one can feel for oneself is not all that good, no doubt we can’t believe that we will receive good from others….

Be aware of your flaws but be alert enough to work on them. As you are working towards that goal also be patient with self and accepting of self. Don’t judge. Don’t give reasons for being who you are. Don’t find a scapegoat on whom you can put the blame for being what you are or for making choices that you have made in your life. Just move on from that. Accept you have made choices that didn’t work out for you. Now, what to do and how to go about it must be the only question that drives you towards your happiness and wellbeing…..work on that..

And I repeat, be good to self, be kind with self,

Be good to yourself. Be kind of your flaws. Be kind to yourself of your shortcomings. Accept it doesn’t mean be proud of them or wear them like badges. It means accept them but also become aware of the fact that they are the cause of suffering in your life and hence need to go away. Work towards that but also in the meantime stop demeaning self.

Be good with self………learn to love self, learn to respect self….

Thank you . I usually feel tensed after waking up . So I open the blog and start reading . Today when I opened it I re read this post and this made my day because during the day there are times that I slip and this post has helped me to catch my self. Thank you reiki thank you guruji

Since yesterday I was not able to be myself I was constantly blaming my self, cursing myself there was an internal disturbance in me . I remembered this post and as soon as I woke up I read it and started my me time. I am feeling much better now.
