List of things we can do
during quarantine like this :
And quarantine
need not be forced by the Nature this way only. Whenever a family member is
sick or hospitalized instead of calling one and all (me included) and saying ‘maam,
I am afraid’, follow this!
Whenever you
fall sick or hurt yourself like sprain etc where you are required to take rest,
instead of sitting and talking to all relatives and feeling sorry for self
happy with ‘ayyos’ and ‘paapam(pity you)’ quarantine yourself and do the
following.
1.
Do hands-on may be more than once/day.
2.
Do re-birth meditation with ‘anger’ and ‘hatred’ daily without fail.
3. Meditate
– let go, forgiveness – just about any meditation that you remember from your
class.
Note : If you don’t remember any
meditation don’t ask for its explanation. Just do the ones you
remember!
The following
ones can be done by non-reiki channels also. Don’t force them. Let them do if
they wish –
1.
Homam
2.
Do japam/chanting of any of
the following mantras.

Mrutunjaya mantra
·
b. Gayathri mantra
·
d. Sree rama ramethi ramo .....om nameh iti.....
·
e. Om namah sivaya
·
f. Om namo narayana
·
g. hare rama hare krishna rama rama hare hare....
You
can fix a number say 11000 Mrutunjaya
mantra in 10 days and complete that
(OR)
You can
chant Hanuman Chalisa 108 times in 5 days.
These
are just examples of how to go about with japam. If all of you want to do some
mantra for fixed period of time, I can fix a number and the mantra for you. Let
me know….

Paraayanam – Complete reading books like Bhagavat Gita, Guru
Charithra or so say in 11 days – one book in 11 days. 11 days is just a
suggestion you can reduce or increase the number of days depending upon your ‘shraddha’.
Novels don’t come under this category of reading. Read the books that you have
at home. Don’t go “I don’t have it maam, where can I get it?”. No need to buy. Read
any book written by Ramana Maharshi, Dalai lama, Paramacharya and likes of
them.
Just
read no need to put up its name for others to see or get my validation.
4. Even if you are doing homam, do aarthi (with camphor – karpur)
atleast twice a day.

Those who don’t do homam atleast do aarthi at home. If you belong
to other religion and are against doing aarthi, just put hot water in a small
bowl and crush camphor and put in it and place where it is safe – meaning pets
and children can’t reach it. If they drink it then it is dangerous. Adjust the amount
of camphor depending upon the intensity of smell of your camphor. Usually two
pinches of it is more than enough.
The entire above tips are to cleanse the air and the spirit.
Now few tips to keep the body strong make immune system strong.

Those who trust homeo and have good Dr. take those medicines as
preventive.
·
In a glass of water add a pinch of turmeric (if it is ground by
you at handmill or the ones you are sure of the quality) boil it for few
minutes and take turmeric tea. Adding honey is optional.
·
You can also take ‘turmeric milk’
·
Take sonti (dried ginger) a little over 1 tea spoon boil it in a
glass of water. Filter it and drink it – even for cough and cold that normal
ones we are getting now a days.
·
Take black pepper, jeera, tulasi leaves, ginger. Make a paste or
ground them. Add to a glass of water and boil it. Drink half or quarter glass
of it per day.
·
Honey is optional in all the concoctions.
·
Vit. D and B12 deficiency diffuses our immune system. Take those
tabs regularly if you already have a deficiency. Get exposed to sun before
8.30-9am and after 4.30pm atleast for 1/2an hour daily to get vit.D. No need to
even go out. Stand in your balcony. Better still perform homam there and chant
MM 108 times. Mission accomplished! Of go to your terrace if in apartment. If individual
house, blessed soul, enjoy your walk in your lawn and get sun bathed!

Add sprouts to your diet. Just a small bowl once/twice a day will
do. Pref. have sprouts made at home. Boys don’t get on to your mom’s or wife’s
nerves asking for these things. Take part in these activities and enjoy healthy
food and don’t forget to share it with your family too!

Don’t
sit in front of that TV. Get up and take a walk. Atleast 1/2an hour/day. More would
be welcome. Or count 10,000 steps.
·
Exercise
atleast for 1/2an hour without fail. Keep yourself fit and fine.
·
Now that you have eaten a lot and had tons of litres of various
drink – fast! Yes – Japanese cell biologist Yoshinori Ohsumi won the Nobel
Prize in medicine for his research that proved the benefits of fasting. Fasting
reduces or slows aging and also is very good for liver aka digestion. Our immune
system also becomes strong. In short we age slower and become healthier over
the years as we fast. So fast! At least once in a week if not whole day just
skip one meal once a week. Do it for atleast 4 weeks to see the results.
People
who are diabetic, heart condition and other health conditions, old people and
children, pregnant women and women who are feeding are not to follow this rule.
Don’t
force your parents and grandparents to do this so that you can save some money.
You’ll end up paying more for their hospital charges later!
I
think I have covered it all! So go ahead and pick your pick and get going to
make best use of this quarantine period!
The

Day before yesterday I was a bit tensed and was praying to reiki while doing the sadhan and in the morning I have seen the blog and was very happy
After I started following the schedule I am feeling very much assured like some one is saying to me don’t worry I am there with you
