That apart, atleast we knew that ‘asura’ doesn’t mean demons.

This happened often here. We came with one question but went back with answer for questions we didn’t even ask. At times, we had those questions with us for years and yet they were never asked or were forgotten. Still, we received our answers – for questions asked and unasked too!

“I don’t agree! Many times, I didn’t even get answer for my question asked” complained Vaishnav.

“That’s because of our closed minds, attitudes and adamant nature” replied Rahul.

Some of us agreed to that!

We related it to our experience. But Vaishnav couldn’t accept Rahul’s explanation too. We let it be! There was no point continuing to explain it to him.

“So you see” started our Guru starting immediately after she returned to her seat “Even God’s knew the characters and intentions of Asuras when you sought boons. They still were granted them. Not because Gods were fooled by their behaviour or their praise. They earned it by their ‘sadhan’*. But their intention being wrong they bore the brunt of their wish fulfillment by meeting their ends as their wish were fulfilled! What an irony! If God’s won’t stop giving boons to these Asuras why should I stop my doors and lectures to these people who come with wrong intentions? I don’t have to close my doors to them. I can teach all that I want to teach and they need to learn. They still will absorb only what ‘they deserve’. That is for sure! Even if their intentions are hidden from me (which many times is not as we knew) their karma and their intentions will take them towards their destiny of their downfall only. This is governed by Universal Law and Divine who oversees all and rules all! I don’t have to do HIS job. He knows to get it right through me!” 

(*sadhan – loosely translated in English could be interpreted as ‘hard work’ done to heal self or earn points seeking favours from the demi-gods/Gods above!)

• We don't have to play God and punish people...
• Just work on your emotions and feelings and their karma will catch up with them sooner than later
• Why do you have to incur 'bad karma' by punishing or hurting people who have wronged you? Develop your character and make it so strong enough to move on beyond these little idiosyncrasies of little people.
