Everything changes - emotions to people in life

“Yes and it means our every action however simple thus gets converted and in the process, first action keeps changing continuously to give new shape and name. Wow” said Aziz excitedly.

“mmm. Interesting” agreed Vidya.

“What’s the time?” asked someone.

“Wow, it’s already 2 pm. No doubt we all are hungry” replied Priya.

“Come let’s eat something” agreed Swathi.

“We found enough to eat – rice, dal, curry and even papads and pickle kept there. She wasn’t there and yet somehow made these arrangements even before she left the place. How thoughtful of her! This was one thing that I found, should I say odd. Even when I was at home, I wouldn’t be comfortable if others – meaning my relatives and friends helped themselves in our kitchen. I found women mostly say that too!

 

And here she wasn’t even there and yet she left the entire house to us. We ate, prepared tea, meditated, read books, slept and some even stayed overnight – why I know people staying at her place for 2-3 days. This amazed me so many times. And I shared this with others while eating, because Rahul asked me “you seem lost in thoughts. Any problem?”

“No, I was just wondering how everyone feel at home here and we use her kitchen. I am sure most of us can’t imagine others handle our houses this way. And yet we do that here. I found that both odd and good!” I replied.

“And yet students keep changing. Yes, it’s never the same stream which comes here. The stream keeps changing. And she knows it! Oh my God! That’s what she meant “Everything changes” shouted Priya.

“True, true! People come here when they’ve problems or issues and stop coming when things fall in place and everything’s fine in their life. Infact, their admiration, respect gives way to even complaints in some cases. Isn’t it sad? She knows it and yet…….God “everything changes” and yet…yes people’s feelings change depending upon their dependency on her” completed Aziz.

 

“Infact” continued Rahul “everybody’s feelings change. Whom we like today, we may not tomorrow and vice-versa. Our circle of near and dear ones too change. Our friends’ circle, the relatives with whom we are close also changes. Emotions change with time and situations. Inshort, our likes, dislikes, love, hate everything changes. The decisions that we take is based on feelings on which we ride on. How stupid!” said Rahul almost to himself. The silence was obvious. We all let this insight sink in.

“Everything changes”. Such simple words and yet…..we were lost in silence. Most of us just closed our eyes automatically and we didn’t even know when we went into meditation. How long? God knows. But, it was one of the best meditation experiences we all shared today.
