See to what
extent we are ready to fall when anger clouds our clarity of thought! And where
did this anger come from? From the fact that our simple (most of the time it is
only simple!) desire is not met by the other!!!
How surprising! Think about it….go through your life and your anger list
and see it as an outsider…try to analyse your anger and you’ll understand what I
am explaining….then you’ll see the power of desire and the effect it has on us,
our emotions, our life and our life situations and not to forget our
relationships…..now, my question is are we choosing our life for ourselves? Can
we really count our emotions and let them take us for a ride? Ask yourself – is
the emotion mine or am I my emotions?
The last
stage is represented by ‘Trsna’ or seeking to possess more and more, even
though one may be amply provided and with all objects of enjoyment – a devoted
and faithful spouse, an obedient child, abundant riches etc. This is the grossest form of desire! When fed
continously by the previous forms of desire and the system gets used to
experiencing these passions regularly, then comes a stage when we want to
increase that dosage and we end up coming to this stage of desire – ‘Trsna’ or ‘Obsession’. Obsession of any kind can never be right! With
obsession comes adamant nature too and we are so blinded by our desires that we
can’t take other’s opinion/stand/desire in the fulfillment of our desire…..
