Each one of us has experienced pain at some point of time of our life. And the ‘pain’ is experienced at physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual self. Let’s look into each one of them separately. We’ll deal with it as:-
1. Types of pains experienced.
2. Why we feel it in the first place.
3. How to deal with the pain once it’s there in life.
4. How to heal it and the situation that’s causing us pain.
5. How finally to outgrow pain.

So, basically, it’s all about understanding pain, then transmitting it and finally transcending it.

Let’s try to define ‘Pain’ in the first place. Pain is “anything that causes discomfort in us and stops us from experiencing happiness and well-being.”

What is the actual cause of pain?

1. All that displaces ease from our life is a dis-ease and that is the root cause of pain.”

2. We experience pain because we are not able to get all that we wished, worked, longed for – and because we are getting all that we don’t want in our life.

3. Anything that limits us causes ‘pain’.

For example:-

1. I want to be healthy. In fact, everyone wants to be healthy ONLY and when they fall sick they experience ‘pain’ in their lives.

2. We all want to be successful, rich and yet are not most of the time. Hence, the pain.
