Fear of society – Me, my Guru

Fear of society – Me, my Guru

Today we all were bit depressed and felt lost. We didn’t exactly know our feelings and the emotions that ran through us. The news that hit us and the nation today had shaken us in many ways. In some way we were glad that we made it to our Guru’s place. Not that she would make the situation any better but atleast we felt safe in some way there.

She didn’t answer many of our questions – maybe she had but chose not to let us know that!

It is even possible that she gave us “the answer” but we either ignored it as it didn’t fit our definition of answer or that it was not the answer we were looking for.

It is also possible that we didn’t “see” the answer when it was given to us.

Whatever! Today and such days we didn’t come seeking answers. We just came seeking some solace. We wanted to be near her as that did wonders to our agitated mind. It calmed us and gave us hope and courage to face our realities.

“Guruji the criminals were shot dead today. The justice was met and this was something we all had wanted since long. And yet when it happened it sort of shook us. Unknown fear came over us! I can’t exactly say why and for whom. But fear gripped us and I started to cry out of fear! Throw some light on this today please!” That was Deepa asking that question but it was a question we all had and the feeling we all carried today.

# hatred, violence, killing the wrong, anger, fear, correcting the wrong, punishment, justice, listening after asking questions, listening to receive solutions, on blaming or thinking the cause of our pain and suffering to be outside

Questions answered :

  • Why she doesn't answer my questions?
  • Why she gets irritated with my doubts?
  • She doesn't answer my questions and moves on. Why?
  • Why we are sad, angry and fear even when our wishes do come true?

Points to be understood :

  • Do we really know to "LISTEN" to answers when we ask questions?
  • Which attitude of ours is responsible for us not being able to get an answer even if given and keeps insisting on repeating the same question again and again in the name of 'asking questions and clarifying doubts'.......
  • Do we seek an answer that is 'right' or are we demanding results or action from the other party when we say we are asking questions/doubts?

Few FAQs with Guru

Few FAQs with Guru

(S – stands for student and G- stands for Guru in this post)

Words of Wisdom ~ Spiritual Awareness

S – How come you don’t answer few questions?

620 Leadership Quotes That Will Make You Feel Unstoppable
G – I answer all questions? Even ‘not answering’ is an answer. You don’t take it as you don’t want to hear it. You expect me to give the answer that you seek and hence can’t hear my ‘not answering’ as an answer.

S – What does it mean?

Lindsay Wagner Quotes | QuoteHD
G – It depends. Sometime it may mean, question is redundant and doesn’t deserve an answer. Like ‘is it not hot today?’ or ‘Should I not do this?’ Answer is already in the question for first type of question and yet you ask. There you don’t seek an answer as you already know it. You just want to make a sound as you are not comfortable with the silence around you and you wish to make noise.

Every time, while teaching, I would have given the answer as to when to do and how to do any healing. And each answer is given more than once for sure! And yet you ask, not because you don’t remember the answer or don’t know the answer – but because you want to go against what I already told you to do – say ‘don’t heal this way etc’. Why you do is something that you need to understand yourself. They are not questions in any way. They are just your ways of seeking attention. How do you expect me to answer that? Think!

Quotes about Success : A fully conscious Divine Feminine energy ...
Next some questions are no questions. They are just accusations in the form of questions like “but is not a Guru supposed to give or do? Isn’t it?” What do I answer for that? How do I answer that? It just reflects your demands, character flaw, nature, expectations and what not! So being silent I take your invalid, illogical and ill-based accusations that come in the form of seeking answers or clarifications.

And for very many questions - I don’t lie, and I can’t or shouldn’t tell the truth. So, I keep mum. Thus, the reasons are many for not answering.

S – Don’t you get angry the way students treat you at times? How do you deal with it?

# Questions and reply, receiver and giver,

Questions addressed and points to be taken :
  • Even 'not answering' is an answer. If you don't like it, the problem is in you, not in the giver.
  • What makes the person 'not give an answer' in the first place when the question is posed? Have you thought about it?
  • We jump to our emotion of being hurt or getting angry at the person who didn't answer us. But do we look within and check our intention, validity of our question, sense in our question to see where we were wrong in the first place?
  • Demands are 'considered' or treated as 'questions'. Demands don't warranty as questions.
  • "Should you not be giving it?" though looks like a question is actually a demand put forth. And that demand is considered as an entitlement. We can dream, wish, pray - but all that doesn't entitle us to our wishes.
  • Why sometimes a question is not answered or addressed?
  • Beggars cannot be demanding! Isn't it?
  • Those who seek favours can't be in the demanding position. Can they? Think about it!
  • If you hate or angry with above two sentences and law then outgrow that stage. Work towards becoming 'less and less dependent' on external things. Work towards freedom from 'desires'. Work towards freedom from suffering!

Me, My guru – working of Karma noted in a real life situation!

Me, My guru – working of Karma noted in a real life situation!

Points to understand the post:

"We thought she would quote Rama, Krishna and we would counter that.

We had our argument against forgiveness and yet she didn’t go there. We were prepared to attack those and such explanations but here she was talking something completely different from what we expected." See here – the students are already having reasons to forgive the wrongdoer. They also had been explained how karma works based on Itihaasa (History of Vedic culture). And they had come prepared to counter all that if told. It means students don’t ask questions to which they don’t have answers – many times. They know the answers. They want validation for their venting and emotions. They come to sell their line of thinking to the Guru. No doubt, they go back angry when Guru doesn’t buy their ‘reasons’.

Ask yourself “Why do I ask questions? What is it that I am seeking?” be honest in your effort in seeking answers. Don’t fool yourself.

Your honesty will open the doors of heaven for you!

Your honesty will make you courageous.

Your honesty will make you fearless.

Your honesty will release you from your bondage and karma!

Let’s understand this with some exercise.

I’ll give one real-life example at a time.

I want you people to see how this example applies to your life situations.

In what way does this example help you to understand how the lives of those around you in impacted by this “law of karma”. Not every time we’ll be able to see it happen in our life. It is too personal for us to note that. But, in the joy of finding pain and seeking revenge for others, we notice these things happening in others' lives.

Share your stories – real life ones to validate the ‘law of karma’. How you have seen this law operate in and around your life.

When the number of stories is good enough to run home this point, I’ll share one more example – a real-life one – and then the exercise will continue. This way let’s learn it as we read about these cases.

If I don't receive feedback - enough of it from your end, then this topic will not be discussed further......

Notice

Dear everyone,

Please understand that I answer everybody's question - for me there is no good or bad question.  There is nothing as silly or profound question....it's just that i answer it in the order of receiving the question....first question posed is addressed first and then i work my way to the latest question.....

usually as you can see, the questions posed are many and the time taken to answer every question is long....(say 3-4 days) and so the other questions take a little longer for me to answer....not that i don't know how to answer - well, jokes apart....i can't answer all the questions at a time....so please, please have patience....do reiki for muladhara....if you are impatient when you don't find your issue addressed immediately, then understand you need to work on your patience...do reiki for muladhara immediately....that can solve your problem too in many cases.....

i answer even the questions posed through mails - but since some of the questions are too personal i can't answer them directly and so i explain through various characters - mythical or imaginary as the case may be....please find your answers in these posts.....(hidden) - though i use few of your words verbatim so that you can easily know it is your question/ problem/ issue that i am addressing.....but in such cases i can't address you and say " have you found your answer dear XXX).....

if you are 'AWARE' you'll find answers and explanation through the pictures that i post too! every post's picture is related to it's explanation.....but the question is 'are you aware?'  i don't just pick up a photo / picture randomly and post it just to increase the colour of the post....no....

for eg.  today's post has a violet coloured multi-petalled flower.....just as it takes time, work of nature (as a team -  sunlight, earth, air, chlorophyll, other chemical that gives violet colour to this flower, birds, insects, water, oxygen, carbondioxide and various others elements work together to give out this flower and mind you not for their benefit) but the tree is not impatient to receive it in it's life....the flower can't happen in a day - it takes few months/ years of work to let a flower bloom and that many days of work can wither away in few hours or a day or two....so think how long it takes our desires to become a reality and even when they do - there is no permanence to them.....if you understand this, then the suffering that we get while waiting for 'something' to happen (inspite of doing sadhan, meditation or reiki!) would be not there....
we would wait for the blooming of the flower of our hardwork with love and expectancy only.....

the nature gives out flower after so much of hardwork and time and yet many times it is not even noticed - forget about validating the tree's work or singing the beauty of the flower....and we complain there is no beauty in our life!

we complain that people are not recognising our hard work!

we complain that we don't have anything to celebrate in our life!

just look around.....everything in the nature is meant to bring a smile on your face...to cheer you up...and yet i am here sitting and counting my problems 1 to 5 again and again and saying "why do i have these 5 problems?"

mana ke andhera bahut hai lekin
raath lakhon tarein bhi tho saath lathi hai.....

agreed that it is very dark but
doesn't night bring millions of stars with it....

think ..........

thank you for seeking answers and trying to find solutions for your problems instead of complaining about them.....but at the same time i repeat, please develop patience....

all the best....

Me, My Guru – on asking the right question

Me, My Guru – on asking the right question

One of the students wanted to attend a certain class. He came down and asked, “Guruji, are you conducting my class this Sunday?”

She replied with a smile “No”.

He bowed and left.

I was puzzled. I knew the class that he wanted. And I also knew that that particular class was this Saturday. And yet our Guru didn’t say anything about that class.

Not able to contain myself I asked our Guru “But Guruji, his class is on Saturday. Then why didn’t you tell him that”

Our Guru smiled and answered “Because he didn’t ask ‘when is my class?’ He asked me if he had a class this Sunday and I gave him reply for that question.”

I was stunned. It was so right and so simple!

Pointers from the post:

" “Guruji, are you conducting my class this Sunday?”

She replied with a smile “No”." - Look at the question and answer again. If and only if that student had asked "Guruji when can I have my class? or Can you conduct class for me this week or something like that" then he would have had his class that week.

He not only postponed his class, he delayed his learning by God knows how many more days/weeks/years to come?

Never postpone learning.

There will be a mindset that would blame Guru here. Good for them. But remove Guru represents "One who is everywhere too" by one of the qualities that Guru has. Then here it means you are going to ask in similar fashion everywhere. Maybe, the answers you got is because of how you asked the question. Change the way you ask question and you will see the difference in the way it is answered.

Instead of blaming someone for change, try to see where the problem is and correct it and see the solution right in front of you. Sometimes, the problem vanishes on its own too....

Did you understand this post?

Was it useful?

Did you see how it fits in your life?

Are you able to see how it would ease your life in at least few ways?

Jabala – Me, My Guru

Jabala – Me, My Guru

“Guruji, how come we don’t find great Gurus in today’s world. It is often quoted “When the disciple is ready, Guru comes in his life”. Then, inspite of searching for one since years we don’t and can’t find our Guru. Why? Where is our Guru?

I always found others’ questions welcoming mostly because I got to hear something interesting by way of her answers. But not this time! It was most asked question and I had listened to her answers nearing 50 of them. I knew her answers would be one of them. I never liked to hear the same thing twice. It sounded boring. I put aside my pen and paper deciding not to take down anything today. I mean, what was the fun of writing the same thing again and again. It was later that I regretted my decision – like many times before where I had shut my ears assuming answers or her explanation to be boring. Just few days down the line I would face the situation for which she would have given solution or explanation and I would’ve missed hearing it. It had happened so many times – yet we both didn’t seem to have learnt anything from it.

“A boy of 7-8 years named Satyakama wanted to learn and wished to approach a Guru seeking knowledge. Rishi Gautama was considered the best Guru during that time. Sage Gautama had princes and boys from illustrious Brahmin and Kshatriya family as his students. It was him that our Satyakama approached. As was the custom, Sage asked his lineage and other family details. Unable to answer his queries, Satyakama went to his mother and sought her reply. She said “I don’t know who your father is. In my youth I served many masters and hence can’t tell your Guru that since my name is Jabala, you will hence be called Jabala Satyakama.” The boy in all his innocence went to his Guru and without manipulating or hiding any fact told his Guru his lineage in his mother’s exact words while other students mocked him, Sage Gautama was touched and said “Being able to speak the Truth fearlessly is the pre-requisite of a student who aspires to know the knowledge of Brahman (This Brahman is not the Brahmin caste. It is the knowledge about the all-pervading, eternal unmanifest Energy which we refer to as God!)”

Thus saying he accepted Satyakama as his disciple”.

On prayers answered!

On prayers answered!

How I Prayed for My Love Story | God answers prayers, Answered ...

Once a Bhaktha sat in front of Shiva* and asked him sadly “How come you don’t answer all my questions?  How do you choose which question to answer and which to not? And your choice makes my life hell?”

Croft M. Pentz Quote: “God's answers are wiser than our prayers ...

Shiva smiled at him and said “I answer each and every question of yours’

Quotes about Answering prayers (50 quotes)

“No, you didn’t answer many of my questions” replied Bhaktha confused!

When we pray God hears more than we say, answers more than we ask ...

Shiva smiled and said “How can I ‘not answer’?  There was mischief in His voice.

Now Bhaktha understood the question Shiva was asking and corrected his question and reframed the question “well, I meant you were silent!”

Quotes about Prayers answered (71 quotes)

“Now you are right” smiled Shiva “And that exactly is my answer dear” he said “remaining silent is also an answer if you receive it”

God answers all prayers. Just not always the way WE want them ...

“And pray why is it so?” asked the Bhaktha confused.

Prayer Quotes, Sayings about praying - Images, Pictures - CoolNSmart
“Many times it is because you are not in a frame of mind to receive any. You are venting out your anger. You are in accusing mood. Even when I give an answer you don’t want that. You want what you want to hear. How can I answer then?” replied Shiva with smile that said more than words.

Shiva* - One of the Trinity of Vedic philosophy – One of the three aspects of the Creator which runs the show called the Universe.

He is also the ‘Guru’ or the preceptor of the world!

Question answered :

  • Why God takes longer to answer the prayers?
  • When does He not answer?
  • God is insensitive to my woes. why?
Points to be understood :

  • When we pray, are we seeking His blessings or demanding Him to do something for us?
  • If it is prayer that we do, do we really think He knows better than me or not?
  • Do I know more than Him?
  • If I know more than Him, why go to Him?
  • If He knows more than me, then His answer which is not in line with my wish should have some right basis. Right?
