The Mystic says - On prayers being answered!

The Mystic says - On prayers being answered!

The Mystic says “If you call out to Him in pain, He listens. He answers. But, are your ears open enough to listen to Him?”

"अगर आप सच्चे मन से उसे पुकारोगे तो वह ज़रूर सुनता है। और अगर कोई सवाल करो तो वह जवाब ज़रूर देता है।  पर क्या उसके जवाब तुम सुन पाते हो? "

agar aap sacche man se use pukaaroge tho woh zaroor suntha hai. aur agar koi sawaal karo tho woh jawaab zaroor detha hai. par kya uske jawaab tum sun paathe ho?

Now what does ear mean here?

How do we get His answers? Does He shout from sky above?

What are His ways of answering?

Have you asked any questions - ever? Did you receive any answers? How?

When you didn't receive any answers, what do you think could be the reason?

# asking questions, His ways of replying, God's ways of talking to us, ask and it shall be given, seek and it shall be shown,

Me, my Guru – On right and wrong! Oh the do’s and don’ts!

Me, my Guru – On right and wrong! Oh the do’s and don’ts!

Recently, I’ve been prone to more pain thanks to our Guru. Most of the questions were answered in such a way that I wasn’t happy or comfortable with the solutions and answers. But I didn’t have guts to say the same to her. But my habit of visiting her class, sessions continued as this habit had become compulsive by nature and I didn’t realize it till I no longer could do much about it. What I cursed as my weakness and liability was something that I would see as her blessing and my ‘good karma’ much later in my life. But for now I suffered this situation and the worst part was I couldn’t share it with anyone especially our gang of Rahul and others as they never felt this way, not could understand how I felt or why? And I couldn’t understand how they never found her answers undigestible and insulting.

But today I found my ‘soul mate’ in a person who questioned her and her replies blatantly! He simply asked “Guruji, there are many answers of yours in reply to our queries which I don’t find acceptable to me. Can you give me separate time so that I can point out those questions to you and you can then convince me of your answers and stand?”

I was all ears when that man said these ‘soothing words’ and I was in alert mode ready to seek her permission to be part of that discussion the moment she agreed to his request. But she poured water on my hopes sooner than ‘now’. “You’ve asked a question and I answered. Period! There is no need for me to convince you of my answers. Take it or leave it! It’s your choice! I am not here marketing my ‘answers’ and I don’t have targets to arrive of ‘convincing’ any one” she replied with her trade-mark smile that lit up her eyes.

On prayers answered!

contd......

On prayers answered!

Keep praying, but be thankful that God's answers are wiser than ...

Now Bhaktha understood what it meant to be eligible to even receive an answer means. Only a mind and heart filled with humility, purity, right intent to correct self, respect and above all readiness to apply the answer will receive an answer!

Answers To Prayers Quotes & Sayings | Answers To Prayers Picture ...

He went back on his experiences and realized that he did not accept the answers even when they were given. But he didn’t keep count of them. Or he justified them as ‘I don’t agree with what you say’.

Prayer Quotes, Sayings about praying - Images, Pictures - CoolNSmart

Yes HE does answer each and every question. Sometimes, His answer is NO.

Why God Sometimes Delays Your Answers to Prayer - Pastor Rick's ...
And sometimes He takes all the garbage that we put on to Him. That HE does by being silent. That is also the answer. Receiving all that we throw and yet not complain, to take all the anger etc without complaining is the LOVE He was made of. That is HIS modus operand. That is how HE operates! That is Love! And HE is LOVE!

And yet our complain remains the same "He is egotist, mean, selfish, arrogant, sadist and what not!"

Nichiren Quote: “A coward cannot have any prayer answered.” (7 ...

And that too He listens! Just listens!

Concluded....

# on prayers answeres, everything happens for a reason, ask and it shall be given, God, prayers, desire

Points to understand and apply in life and way of thinking:

  • What is the role of God in our life?
  • How do we define Him in our life?
  • Do we see Him as a genie who is our servant and is 'supposed' to fulfill our every whim and fancy? And as He is BOUND to do so and hence we have right to call Him names when he doesn't do what we want Him to?
  • And inspite of all these qualities in us, we call ourselves a 'devotee' and deserve to get 'reiki quota' deals?
  • Think about your stand, perception. Look into your feelings and understand where  they come from. Being 'persistent' is totally different from being 'adamant'.
  • If your waiting period is filled with anger, frustration, hatred and envy know you are adamant.

Solutions..

On Solutions......

It's not that we don't have solutions given to us......

It's not that we are not given a way out of our issues and problems....

God/ Reiki / Universe / Guru - is ever giving you ANSWERS and ways to deal with situations....

But - it is we and our adamant nature that doesn't let us see the solutions.....

Or are we so stupid to prefer our adamant nature over solution?

Adamant Nature - A quality in us that is "having a set way of wanting things and people to behave and outcome to come".

A man was sitting cribbing complaining that he was hungry.
His mother told him that 'food ' was in the kitchen. He can eat it.
He sat there and complained that 'food' did not come to him inspite of him dying of hunger.
He complained that no one gave him food inspite of him being so 'good'.

Are you finding reasons to not change yourself and yet expect different results from the life and Universe?

We want our answers that we want to 'listen' ONLY and then complain no one answered my question....think on that.......

Questions answered -

Why is my desire not getting fulfilled?

Why are my prayers not listened?

When will my desire be fulfilled?

How to end my problems?

As always I request you all to go through the related posts too once again with patience and find your answers....and do share with others you find - when you do.....

Fear of society – Me, my Guru

Fear of society – Me, my Guru

Image result for dalai lama fear quotes

Today we all were bit depressed and felt lost. We didn’t exactly know our feelings and the emotions that ran through us. The news that hit us and the nation today had shaken us in many ways. In some way we were glad that we made it to our Guru’s place. Not that she would make the situation any better but atleast we felt safe in some way there.

She didn’t answer many of our questions – maybe she had but chose not to let us know that!

It is even possible that she gave us “the answer” but we either ignored it as it didn’t fit our definition of answer or that it was not the answer we were looking for.

It is also possible that we didn’t “see” the answer when it was given to us.

Whatever! Today and such days we didn’t come seeking answers. We just came seeking some solace. We wanted to be near her as that did wonders to our agitated mind. It calmed us and gave us hope and courage to face our realities.

“Guruji the criminals were shot dead today. The justice was met and this was something we all had wanted since long. And yet when it happened it sort of shook us. Unknown fear came over us! I can’t exactly say why and for whom. But fear gripped us and I started to cry out of fear! Throw some light on this today please!” That was Deepa asking that question but it was a question we all had and the feeling we all carried today.

# hatred, violence, killing the wrong, anger, fear, correcting the wrong, punishment, justice, listening after asking questions, listening to receive solutions, on blaming or thinking the cause of our pain and suffering to be outside

Questions answered :

  • Why she doesn't answer my questions?
  • Why she gets irritated with my doubts?
  • She doesn't answer my questions and moves on. Why?
  • Why we are sad, angry and fear even when our wishes do come true?

Points to be understood :

  • Do we really know to "LISTEN" to answers when we ask questions?
  • Which attitude of ours is responsible for us not being able to get an answer even if given and keeps insisting on repeating the same question again and again in the name of 'asking questions and clarifying doubts'.......
  • Do we seek an answer that is 'right' or are we demanding results or action from the other party when we say we are asking questions/doubts?

Me, My Guru – On disagreement

Me, My Guru – On disagreement

“But so many of your explanations are painful to me!” he cried out.

Reasons for Disagreements | Perception quotes, Disagreement quotes ...
Perceptions

“It is not my explanation that is painful. It is your expectation from me. You want me to give answers which are pleasing to your taste and ears. Those answers you already know. Why should I reiterate what you want to hear? I’ll only give answers that need to be given!” our Guruji was still explaining, when he cut in to complain. “But I don’t agree with them. I hate God for making you say such things when they don’t mean anything.”

“My answers are not my opinions or beliefs. They are ‘absolute truths’. You need not believe them. You need not accept them. In fact, I don’t expect you to understand them either. Yet, my answer would remain so! They are not for you to believe, understand, or accept. They are to be heard by you, as of now! You are free to disagree with them; that’s your choice. But my duty is to give an answer which is needed; one which is right. I am not here to please you with my answers; I don’t have to win you over with it. So feel free to disagree wholeheartedly with my explanation and answer.”

maturity quotes one of the truest signs of maturity is the ability ...
Being respectful in spite of differences of opinion

“But everyone is judging me for disagreeing with you” Vaishnav sulked.

“They are not angry because of your disagreement. Their anger is because of how you disagree” she replied.

Disagreement on an issue is not personal
“Sorry Guruji, I didn’t get it” he said, a little mellowed.

Questions addressed :
  • Why does that person not understand?
  • How to make that person see reason?
  • What do I do about the pain and suffering because that person doesn't understand me?
  • How to address anger that comes when someone doesn't accept what you are saying?
Points to ponder upon :
  • Opinions, beliefs are subjective. Don't make them personal.
  • Just because some one doesn't accept, see your opinion it doesn't mean he hates/dislikes/disrespects you.
  • They don't agree with your opinion means they don't agree with your OPINION only! It doesn't mean they have problem with you.
  • Learn to see the difference between person and his opinion.
  • As long as we identify with our beliefs, opinions, advice we suffer when it is not accepted, rejected or ridiculed. Heal the identification NOW!

Observation :  The way you have described yourself in one word is interesting in more than one ways. Just note it in your journal with present date on it. This description may change for some of you at a later date. That is ok. The day you feel you are better described in a different word or sentence than what you presently feel, again write it down in your journal ..........

Regarding describing others - fascinating. Some descriptions make it so intriguing and I wish I met some of them......good........

Jabala – Me, My Guru

Jabala – Me, My Guru

“Guruji, how come we don’t find great Gurus in today’s world. It is often quoted “When the disciple is ready, Guru comes in his life”. Then, inspite of searching for one since years we don’t and can’t find our Guru. Why? Where is our Guru?

I always found others’ questions welcoming mostly because I got to hear something interesting by way of her answers. But not this time! It was most asked question and I had listened to her answers nearing 50 of them. I knew her answers would be one of them. I never liked to hear the same thing twice. It sounded boring. I put aside my pen and paper deciding not to take down anything today. I mean, what was the fun of writing the same thing again and again. It was later that I regretted my decision – like many times before where I had shut my ears assuming answers or her explanation to be boring. Just few days down the line I would face the situation for which she would have given solution or explanation and I would’ve missed hearing it. It had happened so many times – yet we both didn’t seem to have learnt anything from it.

“A boy of 7-8 years named Satyakama wanted to learn and wished to approach a Guru seeking knowledge. Rishi Gautama was considered the best Guru during that time. Sage Gautama had princes and boys from illustrious Brahmin and Kshatriya family as his students. It was him that our Satyakama approached. As was the custom, Sage asked his lineage and other family details. Unable to answer his queries, Satyakama went to his mother and sought her reply. She said “I don’t know who your father is. In my youth I served many masters and hence can’t tell your Guru that since my name is Jabala, you will hence be called Jabala Satyakama.” The boy in all his innocence went to his Guru and without manipulating or hiding any fact told his Guru his lineage in his mother’s exact words while other students mocked him, Sage Gautama was touched and said “Being able to speak the Truth fearlessly is the pre-requisite of a student who aspires to know the knowledge of Brahman (This Brahman is not the Brahmin caste. It is the knowledge about the all-pervading, eternal unmanifest Energy which we refer to as God!)”

Thus saying he accepted Satyakama as his disciple”.
